I have a Sony Z2 with a locked Bootloeder with root, i tried to install the Rom in this Thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/rom-pre-rooted-deodexed-zipalinged-t2929194
Everything was working so well, finished installing the rom and then i tried to restart my z2 but i see only the Sony logo, can not switch it off anymore or boot into Recovery mode, the battery is very low, not able to do anything as my Device restart all the time.
Can someone help me or i have to send it to Sony ?
Have you tried flashing a stock rom with flashtool? Assuming you can still access fastboot (hold volume down whole plugging in USB on a computer, it might be volume up if that doesn't work, it slips my mind as to which it is)

I was in the same position. I use flashtool, create anew bundle, flash a new tft and all's good - fone is like new (*^_^*).
You've got your answers already.
And for the future, if you want to turn off the phone while it's in bootloop then hold power button + volume up at the same time and wait few seconds like that.

Hey guys!
I'm not allowed to post this into the development section for the xperia p, so I have to do it here.
I've decided to root my xperia p. So, I unlocked the bootloader and rooted my device following these instructions using flashtool method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1900172. Right after that, I flashed over this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1894463.
I was pretty happy with this setup until I realised, that this kernel still has some bugs that need fixing and is not ready for stable everyday-use. (In my opinion..)
What I did next was flashing back to the stock kernel, which can be found in the same thread in the first post (for people who want stock kernel with custom CWM) and now my p is in a constant bootloop, turning on and off, without showing any logo and not giving me any access to recovery. I can't even initiate fastboot.. WHAT DO I DO NOW? I really need your help with this..
AND by the way, I have a lot of experience in the matter of flashing and android development, but this is the first time I really don't know what to do to fix this issue!

dont panic if you have boot loop all you need to do is hard reset the phone this is dont by holding power button and vol+ till it vibrates 3 times this will switch the phone off and allow you fastboot to flash cwm recovery again and then you can recover your backup
Xperia P.... has a removable battery right, if I recall.
Remove battery, hold vol up, place battery. Phone should vibrate 3 times.
Keep finger on vol up, shove USB port in. You should get into fastboot.
If you're aiming to go back to stock, then just go into flashboot (vol down), and flash a stock ftf file.

My bad my bad. Google images got me confused over the U.
have you tried hard reboot ?
keeping d power+ volume up +volume down button pressed until the fone vibrates thrice ?
if this happens that means ur phone can enter into fastboot by connecting the usb while holding the vol up button
and u can flash this kernel

Hey guys,
I've got the xperia z tablet (16gb wifi only)
and I had unlocked it, the other day I saw it finally got an OTA update, so I let it update.
apparently that was a bad idea?, I was stuck with the broken android symbol every time i attempted to start the tablet..
I tried the sony software, the recovery thing it has. That has only made things worse, now the tablet refuses to start whatsoever.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd appreciate it very much.

Yould could try and have a look at the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
Hi
I had the same issues when I flashed the wrong ROM. Nothing worked no power light or anything.
Now I can't remember exactly what I did but I started to press buttons and I'm sure that holing the power button and the vol up for a while made it start again and it displayed an error and then went into flash mode .
As I said I'm not sure which buttons I pressed but I know that I held them in for a while
Try using Flashtool... Im pretty sure you can rcover it by flashing a FTF file.

So there is hope. :highfive:
I think I found the testpin. My sgp311 has started to blink after being dead since November, when I bricked it.
I don't have the device pack though.. Do you have any clue on how to find it? I think I just need the sgp311 SEMC package to resuscitate it now... Hopefully...

get the stock ftf file and flash it using flashtools, I was in a bootloop and it worked
i know its an old post but i have to try
i m in a boot loop and i want to find the Fed file in order to do a fastboot....
Can someone give them??
I test my tablet SGP321 with many ROMs.. I end up going to boot loop... Crashes and stuff but I always recover from it.
The things I do before doing anything insane with my tablet
1. Take backup off apps/data
2. Always enable debugging and Unknown Sources
3. Keep the backup of the ROMs
4. Always have the xperia flashtool on my computer
Here's what you can do..
Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Up button for ten seconds until you see a white light flashing three times. While doing this somewhere around in 5 seconds you'll see white led flashing once, but keep on pressing those buttons till it flashes next three times.
After that your tablet will be turned Off.
You can put your device in flash mode and flash a new ROM from Xperia flash tool.
If you get the error "Unknown sources and USB debugging must me enable for flash mode, then your option can be to flash the ROM from fastboot.
Download a ROM (CyanogenMod or any with custom recovery).
Flash the boot.img via fastboot and reboot your device.
Once done you should see a led lit up while the device is booting (pink/magenta color in case of CyanogenMod).
Press the volume up/down button and you should be able to go to recovery mode.
From here you can recover your device easily
And before you do anything make sure you've charged your device well.
Good luck
I was trying to root my device with the help of this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...ck-d6502-03-23-4-0-546-completeguide-t3171219. I'll admit right now that I have no experience in such manners and this is my first root.
Anyway, after successful flashing of device I unplugged it after closing Flash and turned it on only to find it in a constant loop where it just freezes at those waves and starts over. This is too early for the recovery mode option but I tried to press volume up or down repeatedly and the phone just ignores my attempts. PC can't read it normally but it sees it as a 'hidden' file under the name of Removable Device.
In a moment of panic I pressed the little emergency red button next to the charge port and to no avail , nothing changed or got worse, I don't think it can even if it tried. (I'm still worried this step might have ruined everything).
Please help!!

EDIT: Fixed. Sorry for wasting your time.
I have the same probleme ...can anyone help Us please? :'( :'( :'(
I hope that flashmode and fastboot work.
If so, turn the phone off. Prepare flashtool with an ftf (keep wipe data checked), press flash and then connect your phone in a flashmode.

No need to be in panic
simply download and flash any ftf files for your device model number by using flashtool. Please read properly how to install and use flashtool

It may be soft brick. Don't worry. Download via XperiFirm the latest rom for your D6543 and flash via Flashtool (to get into Flash Mode click and push vol- and then connect to USB and hold vol- until Flashtool will start flashing)

please consider that because screen is off, I can't do things like turning usb-debugging on in setting.
thanks in advance for any help.

I think you don't need usb debugging to re-flash your software via flashtool.
