PS4 Remote Play - Verizon LG G3

I'm rooted and have custom recovery. I'm running the most recent CM11 Official nightly.
Can I flash this zip and follow the procedures in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2868092
(PORT) (4.0+) (All Devices) (PS4 Remote Play Port)
or does the zip need to be bumpd or something?
I'm new to the "bump" stuff. Thanks.

"Bump-ing" is only required of the boot.img found in custom roms (required on AOSP-based roms only I believe) so that they actually boot after installation. "Ports" and apps/mods like this are completely different. While I don't know if that mod will work or not, you will not have to "bump" anything.

I'vs used this, works like a charm
Pay attention to special instructions when flashing a custom rom! Sometimes it works only with a specific recovery!

[ ROM ][ Jun 18 ] Stock Rooted YNG1TAS2I3

Here's the stock rooted YNG1TAS2I3 ROM. Includes root(enable in Developer options) and the rest is untouched, so it's OTA update safe
Stock Rooted YNG1TAS2I3 ROM
md5 - 4f3be67f9fc0acf732114d78e331529c
YNG1TAS2I3 Radio, etc - Same as YNG1TAS0YL
md5 - 6d5db5af6c92b814b9a0ebd18341dd8e
F2FS users - Attached zip includes a modified updater-script that needs to be added to the ROM(overwrite updater-script in META-INF\com\google\android folder), which will format the system partition as F2FS. You will also need to overwrite the boot.img with a F2FS compatible one or you can flash it after flashing the ROM
Finally...was waiting for this
Thanks!

Thanks so much, Calkulin. I appreciate your quick turnaround, and I always feel more confident starting off on a new update using one of your builds.
Will we see an update for Calkulin's OnePlus One v3.2?
Excellent!

You'll need TWRP to install as its a (stock based) custom ROM.

Again you'll would need to unlock your bootloader (wipes all data) and install a custom recovery and root to install this. Or you could wait on the OTA if you dont want to do that.

need urgent help

Hi all,
I unlocked the bootloader of my z ultra and flashed a dual recovery.now everytime I flash a custom rom, my recovery is replaced with cyanogen recovery (included in the rom i guess ).How do I flash a recovery which is not replaced everytime I flash a new rom?
next, I am unable to flash any rom, mostly I am getting bootloops or continuous force closes.tried to go stock by flashing ftf but EMMA says 'no matching services available' and flashtool says 'processing of loader.sin finished with errors.'
So, I am stuck in flashmode and bootloader mode.
plz help.I wasted a day already.
Unlike phones from other brands, most Sony phones have their recoveries embedded inside the kernel, so whenever you change kernel by flashing a ROM, you'll be changing recovery as well.
The solution is to use the current TWRP which flashes to a separate partition and thus won't be replaced. You do have to use a ROM that supports this action though, but most if not all recent ROMs do, including CM.

Official TWRP page for Z Ultra: https://twrp.me/devices/sonyxperiazultra.html - read this through.
For stock ROM I think you should rely on custom kernels, because fully stock ROMs won't support this recovery implementation.

Which roms are flashfire compatible?

Hey guys. So I'm new to this device. And I updated to OC1 without knowing the consequences... Such as no SMS or Data...(I'm on T-Mobile) But I got root and installed stang5litre rom. AFAIK custom recoveries are a no no. So my only option of installing a rom is through flashfire. Now which roms can I install using this program?
Thanks in advance.
I would also like to know this, as it doesn't seem Flashfire is supported by most ROMs, but they still might work. I suppose if it failed once to Odin to stock and try another ROM...

If you're on OC1 the only Roms that you can flash are TW which there are only like 4 and the only stable one is Strang5Litre which I personally recommend.

Kindle Fire HD- Can I Flash Paranoid Android Through TWRP?

Is it safe to load a custom rom in TWRP?
No one seems to talk about this, but if I had paranoid Android would it be safe to install it using TWRP (using root guides)? And if so is there a order to flash (Ex. Rom, kernel, gapps)?
Sent from my KFASWI using Tapatalk
Roms are made on a per device basis. There is no PA Rom for the fire
