Hey People, iam Pedro from Brazil, and i need help.
i have tried to unbrick my samsung galaxy s player 5.0 using "ODIN" and in the middle of the update, the program fails, and now, my samsung don't turn on any light or any screen, it is totally death.
i need help. i really don't want to spend money on tech assistance (in Brazil its so expansive)
anyone knows whats happen to my samsung ?
Thanks.
Try putting it in download mode (power button + volume down button) and flash the stock rom.
Or else put it in recovery mode (volume up button + home button + power button) and wipe data and then I don't remember, 'restore' I think.
Don't work,
its dont enter in any mode, don't turn on any light, don't vibrate, don't do anything. only remains in blackscreen.
Now the system try to found "sec s5pc110 test b/d" driver...

^Follow AdamOutler's guide to get into download mode.
Once you get there, flash the stock kernel found here ---> forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520728
Theoretically, that should get you fixed.

Unbrickable will get things going. One could use a bootable Linux Mint disk so they didn't have to do a full Linux install if they didn't want to. It takes a little figuring and a right click to run the jar file Unbrickable is. Then to select the player option before activating the injection. Works good. If not, the player needs a hard reset with the power and home button first. That always works even in full brick.
That link provided above is the USA rom which isn't going to work with an international unit with the physical home button.
I think this is the thread he needs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444636
Ok Here is what I have and have done: :crying: :crying:
All I did was turn it off then screwing around I held the power button and vol+ and hit screen rotate lock switch as it was booting, then it read:
erasing userdata
unrecoverable bootloader error
And thats it. unfortunately adb is not turned on and now the tab will not boot past the secondary booting screen that reads Iconiatab, what is worse since I still have the stock recovery I cant flash anything that I have found. I have tried to flash the Stock A200 rom that is supposed to be stock recovery flashable but it only gets about 1/4th of the progress line before the dead android with the triangle !! sign appears. and of course I dont have the cpuid or sbk, so I cant flash anything in APX mode either.... I am really pulling my hair out here.. and really need some help here it is my nephews tab and he is going to be really upset if I cant fix it.
Any way this is the name of the rom that wont finish installing in the stock recovery flash :
(Stock Rom)Acer_A200_AV032.RV09RC08_AV041.RV04RC02_PA_CUS1_1330081316944_80bf3f7e_decrypted.zip
( I am not allowed to post links yet... But any way the download is at 4shared, and I got the link from the Acer Tablet Forums)
It is Titled Original Stock Rom, and it should have been able to have been flashed through the stock recovery, but di not, and I dont know if it is the rom, or the tablet that is the cause of it not flashing through the stock recovery....
And I have tried a few other update.zips to no avail, but that was the only full rom I found, and certainly the only one with the bootloader blob in it.
Does anyone have any kind of advice for me, or do you know where I could get a rom that will flash through stock recovery?
I dont understand why this happened, the tab was working just fine then I had to reboot it while screwing with the buttons...
So if anyone can help me I would be most grateful, and I can follow most any guide or instruction as long as it can be located.
Thank You
PS - The Tab is 100% stock, no root, no custom recovery, nothing....

The problem was solved by following a YouTube video covering this issue, the video was in spanish, but was rather easy to understand even with the language barrier.
Simply keep doing same boot method over, and over until it works! 12 tries for me then a succesfull boot!
Press the power button and vol+ until the tab vibrates, then flip the screen rotation lock switch.
The screen will read erasing userdata, then the red unrecoverable bootloader error (0x190000008), hold down the power until the tab shuts down.
Continually repeat the proccess, and eventually it will read erasing userdata, and follow with formating cache, then complete. The device will reboot, and it is back tonormal now the stock recovery will finish flashing the ota update.zip so long as you have the right stock rom.
Now you can continue on with your tab however you decide, root, install a custom recovery, and rom, and of course unlocking the bootloader in fastboot mode with oem-unlock
Thank you.
the person who posted before this was correct on pressing the vol up key and power then when vibrates release power but holding vol up switch the screen rotation switch from the right to the left and stay holding the vol up key until it show the android screen leave it be and it will be done once finished loading. You don't have to keep repeating the process one time will work if done correctly. the vol up button is the button to the right when holding in landscape view and the rotation switch should also be in the right most position to start. anyway other than those details it works and it will work the first time. Good luck!

You need to perform a wipe data/factory reset from within recovery. Since you have a bad power button, and cannot select that in stock recovery, you either need to get a touch recovery onto the phone, or you need to get the power button replaced. I'm not aware of a touch recovery that is in tar format that you can flash with Odin, but maybe someone else knows. Also, the recovery will need to match the system so that the phone will boot. Since you have flashed stock 4.1.2 but subsequent attempts to flash did not complete, you probably still have stock 4.1.2 on the phone. If so, that would require AJK v4.9 NoSwap, but again, I'm not aware of a tar version of that kernel.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
With regard to your other thread, there is a UCKH7 pit file in the Download Repository, but no one has posted a pit from UCMD8. I would expect that they are the same, though, since these phones never get repartitioned when upgraded. However, I doubt that will help your situation. What you need to do is perform a wipe data/factory reset.

If you can solder and are handy at such things, you can get the replacement button for about $10 or $15. Or you can send it out to a repair service for usually about $40 to $50.
While you have a faulty power button:
To turn the phone on, hold down vol+ and vol- and plug in the usb cable, as if you were starting download mode. When you get to the warning screen, remove the cable and press the vol- button to cancel. The phone will boot into system.
There are multiple apps in the play store that turn the screen on and off. A good one is Gravity Screen - On/Off.

Hey guys,
My friend asked me to help him out with his Motorola Razr XT910 phone. He tried to root it and flash a new rom but something went wrong because the phone is half(?)-dead now.
It just shows the Motorola logo when I start it and a few seconds later it shuts down. The strange thing is that it turns itself on automatically a few minutes later so I can't turn it off at all. Also, I can't start it with fastboot mode either (volume up+down+power).
When I try to connect it to my PC it's appearing as an unrecognised device so I'm clueless now. Most likely he killed/flashed/erased the bootloader somehow (he tried to flash something in fastboot mode).
Is there anything that I could try?
Does the phone still have battery? Because if it doesn't then you would need to get a factory cable.
Here's how to get into fastboot mode :
(1) When you see the Motorola logo, press the volume down button + power button and wait for the phone to turn off (there will be a slight white flash line on the screen)
(2) As soon as it does, press the volume up+volume down+power button and you should get it. It isn't easy, will take a few tries.
However, if it's battery is drained, just get the factory cable. It automatically puts the phone in fastboot mode
Plug it up to charge for at least 10 minutes then do power and down arrow for 20 seconds then release both and do power and up arrow till you see fastboot. Let me know how you make out.
Thank you guys, I was able to get into fastboot and the phone is working again (after debricking and flashing back the old JB rom).
Another question: I was able to root the phone with the chinese rootmaster application (From this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402943 ) Is it possible to downgrade it to ICS? The phone's owner wants a hungarian ROM and the current JB rom is not containing this language. I found a central european ICS and most likely it's the latest hungarian ROM but I don't know how to flash or install it properly. Can you help me out with this? Is it possible if the phone is rooted?

You can't downgrade,it isn't possible.
Try to flash another JB rom, some of them must have hungarian language.

Hi All,
I recently managed to brick my Xperia XA Ultra after following a guide elsewhere on the Interweb. I want to root it so I can rid myself of all of the extraneous bloatware that Sony seems to think will add value to my life.
After getting a replacement, I took tentative steps to do the same again. Previously, the phone refused to do much of anything after I flashed a new boot.img. The reason I did that was because, after flashing TWRP I couldn't get the phone to boot into recovery mode. So now I have another phone with an unlocked bootloader, TWRP flashed, but no new boot.img, and I want to get into recovery mode.
I tried all of these (all ways to get into recovery on XA Ultra according to numerous websites):
Turn off phone, hold Vol- and Power.
Turn off phone, power on, wait for 'Sony', tap Vol- or Vol+ several times.
Turn off phone, hold Vol+ and Power. Once in boot loader, tap Vol- a couple of times to start recovery.
adb reboot recovery
Stand on one leg, whistle the South Korean national anthem and press Power and Vol+ using the back of a silver spoon.
I'm pretty good with technology, usually, and I've searched high and low for a definitive answer. It seems to me that, in order to get into TWRP, I'll have to flash an alternative boot image. But I don't want to risk that, because I might not get another replacement if I brick it again.
I'd appreciate any advice or pointers.
Kind Regards,
Paul.

You can't acces to TWRP without flashing the modified boot.img
