Hey guys
My phone touch was broken so I had it replaced at a local store. The touch worked fine for some days but then it suddenly stopped working.
This time I showed the phone to authorised service center. They told me that the LCD connector to Motherboard is broken and they can only replace the full motherboard.
So can anyone advise me where can I get this LCD Connector to MB?? I lives in Sonipat near Delhi!!!
Thanks in advance

hi
i have a htc touch plus or as they call it htc touch dual.digitizer issue it stoped responding so i bought new one fitted in and still the same problem .i think is a software problem i guess driver software for touch screen .if any one can help please
thanks
Touch Dual digitizer
Hi Saliml2
Not convinced it is a software issue. My digitizer on T-Mobile Touch Plus did the same thing. It stated behaving erratically and then stopped responding altogether. I replaced the digitizer (via eBay) and it work for a few days and then stopped again.
I have read around the internet and have tried several ROM updates etc (currently running a WM 6.5.5 found in other area of this forum) but this has not solved the problem.
It seem to be an alignment issue - i.e. screen alignment is outside the screen area, but there seems to be no way of getting it back. Could be a fault on the phone mainboard (?) but there doesn't seem to be any info around apart from sending it to HTC for repair (not viable as the phone value negates this)
My phone is still not working, I might try opening it up again and reseating the digitizer cable but have done this twice already.
Have you try change the flex cable?
I had one to, with the same problem, and after changing the flex everything was ok...
Good luck!
Hi Amokh Just to clarify, what is the flex cable? The digitizer has a cable already attached to it that plugs in to a zif connector on the mainboard - I assume that this controls the data flow for the digitizer.
Any help would be appreciated.

Flex cable, i was mean the cable between the mainboard and the lcd block, you can see it in the previous link, picture 20. Have you try it to change?
hello guys how did you manage to put the digitizer cable in place mine doesn t seem to get in place do i need something to hold the connector in place???
My Touch Pro (HTC Raphael) is acting up, the screen continuously jumps or goes completely black, the digitizer doesn't respond right, and the power button doesn't work. The navigation control doesn't work right either.

I found out where the problem came from, it's from the socket on where the flex cable from the screen part of the TP connets to the motherboard. if anyone knows where i can get a replacement mother board please let me know!
I attached some pictures with the board and the jumpy screen.
why replace board if you can replace phone?
I had similar problems a couple weeks ago, on a TP that is more than 1 yr old - local Sprint store told me to get it replaced under the Total Equipment insurance plan I have, but that would be $100 ... called Sprint customer service, they symptom-diagnosed it as loose/failing cable, so they swapped it out as a manufacturer defect, I had a replacement phone in 2 days, with return mailer included. On the phone maybe 20 minutes total.
Flex Cable is bad
The flex cable is bad. PM me and I'l explain how to fix.
Hello all.
While I was taking my HD2 apart to replace a cracked screen (glass digitizer) I accidentally broke the connector off one of the wires. The wire is black and a few inches long with a silver and round press on connector on each end. It attaches to the board that houses the vibrator motor and runs down the right side of the phone (if you were looking at it face down and partially disassembled).
Unfortunately, I lost the metal piece that broke off the wire (the thing is tiny!), so I can't just solder it back on. Any idea on where I can buy a replacement? I've spent about 6 hours today on ebay and google to no avail. Searching for "HD2 black wire" and anything similar is hardly efficient, but that's all I know about it.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
Good question, I think I damaged the cable to the volume buttons so it would be cool if someone has an adress where we can get spare parts except LCD and Digitizer..
this guy on ebay seems to be selling an HD2 in parts. you might find what you need here:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Right-Click-Enterprises/_i.html?_nkw=hd2&submit=Search&_sid=131407386
Thanks, I sent that guy a message and hopefully it'll work out.
Anyone else have a source?
connector of my hd2 is also broken HTC says that the mainboard must be change and I have to pay € 230 because that is my responsibility
I think you have damaged your coaxial cable connector for wifi and bluetooth. Google will help you perhaps.
I believe that my wifi/bluetooth cable is broken, as I have no wifi or bluetooth signal since dropping my phone as reported in a previous post of mine. Can anybody advise me on the difficulty of undertaking this repair myself, does it involve complete disassembly of phone, any soldering etc. If this is the case I don't feel confident enough to do this so does anybody know of someone who does this sort of repair, I have found the cable on e bay for £7 and it looks like it has push on connectors ?
if the connectors on the boards are not broken then all you need is the coaxial cable with connectors on the two end. you need not disassemble the whole set, just open the back cover, connect one end of the cable to mother board and other end to the rigid flex board and that's it.
WiFi and Bluetooth not working

Do you think that this is my problem as since I dropped my HD2 I have no wifi (unless sat ontop of router) or bluetooth or fm radio, is it easy to get to the coax cable by removing back cover, whereabouts is it ?

Fixed it, opened up phone and spotted that at one end of the black wire the connector was not pushed onto the motherboard securely, I pushed it home and hey presto, wifi and Bluetooth now working, phew, Thanks for your help !

When you said you replaced the motherboard, doesnt that mean you have the original lcd and mobo, but in the other phone housing?
Make sure all the connectors are connected properly, disassemble and reassemble
Hey guys,
My HTC Desire V recently stopped working. It just switched off suddenly and I am not able to switch it back on. Its not charging either. I gave it for repair and they say that there is some issue with the motherboard and it needs to be replaced. Now, my phone is not under warranty and the motherboard replacement is actually quite costly. Any suggestions? Is there some method by which I can get it back on?
In case replacing the motherboard is the only option left, is there any way I can maybe sell it somewhere? As in, is there a market for dead phones?
ShankyD
Oh yeah, perhaps you have the same problem as here
Suggestions is to replace only eMMC KMSJS000KM-B308 in your motherboard (of course if you know how to use programmer e.g. Riff Box JTAG and soldering station). Or just replace whole motherboard (quickly and easily at home).
