Anybody help me about hardware? - HTC Droid DNA

Hi,
İ have replaced broken lcd of my device but now gps and camera are not working. İ have checked mainboard but couldn't find why. Before that happened my wifi had gone but i found the wire which cause that.
Can anyone tell me where to check on mainboard to fix gps and camera. İf you want i can send you photo.

WRT your camera...
I have disassembled and re-assembled this phone about a dozen times, most recently I replaced the peripheral board which sits near the top end of the device - I think you should do that. When prying this phone open its extremely easy to torque that board or scratch one of the ribbon cables or pcb, (or in my case to pry the power button off it's solder points.)
My guess is that replacing the board should address your camera issue (provided you didn't damage the camera itself - you'll need to connect it to the new board). The price on replacement boards has been steadily dropping for a while now, so it really can't hurt to try: w w w . amazon. c o m /Headphone-Audio-Simcard-Holder-Power/dp/B00Q2MLNTW/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421684856&sr=8-1-fkmr2&keywords=droid+dna+replace+sim+audio+board
If it turns out that the camera itself is damaged - replacing the board doesn't work - you can also replace the camera itself for pretty cheap.
I'm not sure about the GPS but it certainly could be on the same peripheral board as the camera. Worth a shot?

This was very helpful in doing testing before/after I replaced the board: h t t p s : / / p l a y .google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mtorres.phonetester&hl=en
Do not under any circumstances buy replacement parts on ebay! I made this mistake TWICE and received/installed boards that were defective each in their own unique way (one had no sim, one had no camera & proximity sensor). ebay is crap: everybody lists "new" for condition and then sends you equipment that is clearly beat to hell by some noob who apparently disassembled their phone using the jaws of life.

[Q] HELP!!! broken black wire/connector inside HD2

Hello all.
While I was taking my HD2 apart to replace a cracked screen (glass digitizer) I accidentally broke the connector off one of the wires. The wire is black and a few inches long with a silver and round press on connector on each end. It attaches to the board that houses the vibrator motor and runs down the right side of the phone (if you were looking at it face down and partially disassembled).
Unfortunately, I lost the metal piece that broke off the wire (the thing is tiny!), so I can't just solder it back on. Any idea on where I can buy a replacement? I've spent about 6 hours today on ebay and google to no avail. Searching for "HD2 black wire" and anything similar is hardly efficient, but that's all I know about it.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
Good question, I think I damaged the cable to the volume buttons so it would be cool if someone has an adress where we can get spare parts except LCD and Digitizer..
this guy on ebay seems to be selling an HD2 in parts. you might find what you need here:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Right-Click-Enterprises/_i.html?_nkw=hd2&submit=Search&_sid=131407386
Thanks, I sent that guy a message and hopefully it'll work out.
Anyone else have a source?
connector of my hd2 is also broken HTC says that the mainboard must be change and I have to pay € 230 because that is my responsibility
I think you have damaged your coaxial cable connector for wifi and bluetooth. Google will help you perhaps.
I believe that my wifi/bluetooth cable is broken, as I have no wifi or bluetooth signal since dropping my phone as reported in a previous post of mine. Can anybody advise me on the difficulty of undertaking this repair myself, does it involve complete disassembly of phone, any soldering etc. If this is the case I don't feel confident enough to do this so does anybody know of someone who does this sort of repair, I have found the cable on e bay for £7 and it looks like it has push on connectors ?
if the connectors on the boards are not broken then all you need is the coaxial cable with connectors on the two end. you need not disassemble the whole set, just open the back cover, connect one end of the cable to mother board and other end to the rigid flex board and that's it.
WiFi and Bluetooth not working

Do you think that this is my problem as since I dropped my HD2 I have no wifi (unless sat ontop of router) or bluetooth or fm radio, is it easy to get to the coax cable by removing back cover, whereabouts is it ?

Fixed it, opened up phone and spotted that at one end of the black wire the connector was not pushed onto the motherboard securely, I pushed it home and hey presto, wifi and Bluetooth now working, phew, Thanks for your help !

thx, for the information , I'm going to try ith a second time , but it's going to need some time cause I'm in Europe and the package comes from LA ,

friends my touch was working 50% so I tried some packing near front camera (may be fingerp sensor) area below battery as shown in another thread and 90% touch recoverd, but unfortunately the digitizer got torn and touch got unresponsive. I purchased touchpad locally in mumbai at rs850 but after fixing it was not responding. it seems that the flex cable as shown in above link looks bended.
Thus my question since the power module which is on the same flex cable works properly, is it still possible that the touch digitizer which also connects the same cable may not work. or something wrong with new touchpad (tried 2 of them). or some other problem at the junction on motherboard.
at present phone can power on, charge and pc connectivity only.
I dont have any technical knowledge, experts please give some advise.
thanks..

[Q] LCD not working; logicboard, flexcable or screen?

Hi all,
Recently, I bought a Sony Xperia Tablet Z of which the previous owner had removed the whole screen. Tablet was working, then he dropped it, causing the screen to be broken (LCD was blacked out, tablet and digitizer/touch still working). He removed the screen assembly as a whole, had the intention to replace it but he just sold the rest of the tablet.
So I obtained an LCD/digitizer assembly form AliExpress, but after installing the screen and switching on the tablet, I got the same problem: Touch is working fine, tablet switches on nicely, I get some kind of 'blind-modus?' that responds to touch with sounds, it tells me I'm swapping through menus, but the LCD itself does not give any signal. Linking it to PC works fine too. Linking it to a TV requires an MHL cable, which I don't have...
My question is:
Does anyone know if this is a well-known problem after dropping an Xperia Tablet? I'm more or less sure it's not the LCD of the replacement screen that causes the problem (given the background), so the problem might be in the LCD flex cable, or worse, the logic board. But how to find the faulty component?
For the flex cable: I've tried to measure (multimeter) the resistance of the wires between each tiny pin of both the connectors of the ribbon, but it's not easy. Some pins on one connector are linked to multiple other pins of the other. Is there an easier way to check this, anyone any experience with this?
If it's the logic board, is there any way to make sure which component is broken, and is this fixable?
If it might help: I have a set of pictures of the logic board / flex / LCD.
Otherwise, I might just try and stop by a tablet/phone fix shop, ask kindly if I could quickly check one of their screens/cables to verify which parts are working/broken.
Thanks in advance!! Kind regards
Edit: I just noticed there is a specific forum for Xperia Z (one), this thread belongs there, sorry! Could this thread be moved there?

Messed up audio real time! [RN3P] [MOTHERBOARD]

Hello guys, I was having charging problems in my Redmi Note 3 Pro (kenzo). Searching for solutions I found one that said I should remove a diode from the motherboard. I did that and it worked, phone was charging normal again. BUT. I accidentally removed something else that was close to the didode. The Audio LDO. So now phone doesn't play any sound. Everything that needs audio doesn't work anymore. Playing videos, recording, etc. What should I do? Is there any possible solution or should I just throw it in the trash?

The pcb you're refering to is the usb/charging board? Because the thing I removed was placed on the top part of the phone. In the actual mainboard. Could you send me the link, please?

There are 2 diodes protection.
First diode protection on charging board.
Second diode protection on mainboard.
Dont use qc charger. If u using quick charger then ur first diode will blow. And it will stop charging further and protect the mainboard. Current will not reach to mainboard.
if u remove the first diode then ur device will start charging again.
But if u continue to use high voltage like QC charger 2.0 ot 3.0 then it wil destroy 2nd diode protection from mainboard.
So never use QC charger after ur first diode protection gone.
Use stock charger.
But why did u remove 2nd protection from mainboard?
U should never use qc charger if ur first protection is gone.
But now If u already removed it and also damaged the audio components near to it then u should.go to service center and replace the mainboard. Ask repairguy how much it will cost.
Nowadays redmi note 3 whole phone comes cheap. So if he tell u too high price to replace mainboard then better buy new phone.

Here is the link .
U will get pic . the location of first diode which is located on charging board. U will find it on this thread which i posted somewhere.
Diode is a fuse which regulates and stabilises the voltage.
Its ur bad luck if u directly gone to mainboard to remove 2nd diode protection. U should first properly find the information. Whoever told u to remove 2nd diode mislead u.
High voltage will never blow ur 2nd diode unless u removed first protection.

replaced PCB - No signal

Hello,
A few weeks ago, I replaced my screen because my smartphone had fallen. When disconnecting the antenna cable, the coax connection on the PCB was broken. So I ordered a new PCB. However, with the new PCB, I no longer have any coverage. Is it possible that the PCB is not suitable for the European / Belgian network (GSM/Edge/3g/lte). I also noticed that the PCB I received differs a lot from the design that was in my smartphone. The PCB under the smartphone is the defective PCB, the mounted PCB is the PCB is the new PCB. You can find a picture here: https://imgur.com/Wzmq0p0 When my broken screen was still on the smartphone, I had full range and there was nothing wrong with the network. The connections of the cable is also not damaged: https://imgur.com/H4WkFmA Screenshot of no coverage, but SIM card data that is read: https://imgur.com/tkOhXI9 I tested 2 sim cards that I in the Pocophone. Both are from another provider. Neither got a signal. In my other smartphone, both SIM cards were connected to the network and worked as expected. Does somebody know if I ordered the wrong PCB foe Belgium?
Are you certain that the antenna cable is good?
If it's damaged the sim should show up but with no network at all. (Exactly the behavior that you're having)

The chips' small differences are normal between an aftermarket and an original imo

some blue resistor is missing in new one, i think!
The antenna was damaged a bit, but i also ordereda new one with the damaged one worked.
Because the antenna cable of the pocophone was out of stock, i ordered another one from xiaomi. It was a little bit longer but, still the same issue

In the pic it seems like the antenna cable is a bit smashed by the bezel when it was screwed together. You could try with another cable and test for signal before reassembling the phone.
I made 2 movies to show that there should be a difference and that the issue is not the antenna cable.
In this movie, I installed the new PCB and there is no networkconnectivity:
HTML:
https://youtu.be/0xNUxfh3CXM
In this movie, I installed the PCB without COAX-connection for the antenna, but just tape. I'm using is now with tape for about 5 days:

Does anyone have an idea, where to fine the correct PCB to use in Belgium (Europe)?
I contacted the company, but they only say they buy it from "Iparts Buy".
Any help would be appreciated.
Did you ever get this issue resolved. I'm having the same problem
Hey
Here is a link to a trusted shop in Germany (mobiltec24). I can't post a link. I'm a new member.
I have the same problem as you. I am also looking for a solution. I buy a pocophone without mobilenetwork. I can't unlock the bootloader without SIM Card.
Having the same issue, any update ?
