Please help. If you need any further information please do let me know and I will gladly provide.

[Q] Please help!

Hello, everyone!
I have a PRIVILEG S1 phone with the following specs:
CPU: Mediatek MTK 6515 single-core ARM
RAM: ~256MB
ROM: ~256MB
OS: Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread (Rooted with vROOT - only vROOT could do it.)
I have been testing what a rooted phone is able to do and accidentally deleted some system files. Now my phone is not turning on - shows ANDROID and stays there forever (maybe stuck in a boot loop?). However I've been able to bring up the bootloader menu (MUSIC_DOWN + POWER).
How can I find a good image (not necessarly 2.3.6) to restore my system to and how exactly to restore it?
Thank you!

The device has on the ic q88 A33 8G 2681 7660 512M
SP 1409025 3032
LZ 87 20140930
Installed was the kitkat4.4 ver.
After installing some application ,it started rebooting continiously, without responding to button presses, except to shut down when pressing power button for 10 seconds.
I tried several combinations of the volume and power buttons(the only ones it has),to no avail
I read it is possible to flash this thing to make it work again, but i cant find the image file needed according to the instructions i got.
Do i need to get a specific file or any kitkat 4.4 for a tablet would do?
And how am i to go about flashing it?I need an external SD card and reader??Or is there an easier way?
I d appreciate any assistance
Best regards in advance

BNTV450 Rooting Help Needed

I purchased the $50 8GB Nook tablet from Barnes and Nobles in March of 2017. The model number is BNTV450:
I'm prevented from posting links since I'm a new user, so here is how to access an image of the device:

I've been working with a few members of this site and the consensus is that no rooting software exists for this device. This thread is to help point people like me who own this device in the right direction should rooting software be developed or found. If you know of any, please post a link and instructions.
Here is all the information I've been able to collect on the device:

I need the same; info on how to root. I was given on by wife, tried to find guides on root. I did get developer privileges , fast boot access. I have not tried to use ADB yet. My volume buttons DO seem to work in fastboot as I was able to test by wiping cache. Unsure what to try next.

There is a forum for the Nook 7 Tablet: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nook-7
Unfortunately it doesn't look like there is any progress at all on rooting, etc.
This should should be in the Nook 7 thread but, there is light at the end of this tunnel.
Sent from my BNTV450 using XDA Labs
Will post how later, after some clean up and testing.
Any update on this?
Any update on this? Have a friend wanting to know if the one he just got can confirm to be rooted or if he should take it back (it was on sale)

@PsyCry
My first two (July)
v1.0.2 (BNTV450-v1.0.2-20161230) security patch Oct. 5, 2016
I bricked my first one a few hours after rooting it on Nov.12th. and ordered another one. My second one is still unmolested. - For now.
My third one (November)
v2.0.4 (BNTV450-v2.0.4-20170927) security patch Aug. 5, 2017
(Had a V3 sticker on the box and is the screenshot in prior post.)
Rooted with magisk 14.3. Running nova launcher with root access to overcome the marshmallow lag. Deleted a bunch of apps. Seemed to be working good. (With a few limitations.)
Then I bricked it. (Nov.23rd. Happy Thanksgiving. )
I ordered 2 more (on sale) and I assume these will also be v2.0.4.
(UPS has pushed the deliver date back twice now. Originally it was 2 days ago.)
When I get them, I will run though the steps and post a patchable boot.img and how-to.
Note :
Hardware key combination:
Power and Volume down = Factory Mode.
Power and Volume up = Recovery Mode.
Did NOT work on either bricked device.
I know they work with an unlocked bootloader. (Albeit annoying with the warning delay.)
I did NOT test them when rooted.

Need Help Rooting Gionee P5L

Phone Model - Gionee P5L
Chipset MediaTek MT6735
Graphics MaliT720 MP2
Processor Quad core, 1.3 GHz, Cortex A53
Architecture 64 bit
Ram 1 GB
OS Android v5.1 Lolipop
I can't seem to root my phone. Tried various One-Click apps and other methods such as rooting via a computer, but alas they have failed to root my phone.
Some people suggested that unlocking bootloader first would solve my problem. So I proceeded to unlock my phone's bootloader which caused my phone to go into a bootloop. So again trying to fix bootloop I flashed my phone's original stock rom. Again which caused my phone to be bricked, the hard kind. (had one ****ty day :laugh.
(Above paragraph in case you guys wanted to know, and I'm kinda new here and I'm not sure if this is the place to ask a question. Please inform me if I need to move this post elsewhere)
Now, the question.
Please help me root my Gionee P5L without unlocking bootloader as I'm afraid it might break my phone again. And please suggest softwares or apps that I should give a go to root my phone.
Apps and sofwares I have tried so far includes Kingoroot, Kingroot and Iroot. And also someone who had a similar phone as I do tried other apps like Frama but they still don't work.
Thank you
See this for twrp recovery & custom rom for gionee p5l
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/lineage-14-1-gionee-p5l-t4092345
It solved. It was happening for an application which has taken the "display over the other applications" permission. I turned off that particular permission & it solved.
Thanks for your help
