Don't Fret, Welcome to XDA-Deleopers.com !!!!!
Go back to that thread and follow the If you bricked your device link.
Use the Unbrick process thats shown on the pdf.
After Unbricking your 3840 if you'd like to have 4.4.4 rooted go to this link!.
Now choose T3 and you'll get it rooted by installing SuperSu.
Any Issues? Come back here and Reply!

Rooting Venue 7 3741?

I'm wanting to gain root access on my wife's new Dell Venue 7 3741 tablet (SIM + WIFI) on 4.4.4.
I've tried this tethered CWM, and I got a fail warning on the PC batch command, and a squiggly mess on the device screen. After that I held the power button to reset, it booted back to the normal system, then rebooted and performed what looked like a rom install (although the prompt was in Chinese, despite being an Australian purchase). After that it rebooted into the normal system again after optimizing all apps (no data wiped). After a while a Dell notification popped up saying "you need to reboot to continue the update". Doing so returned me to the Chinese install screen, followed by a black text saying "AFU install: BIOS update" (I thought there was no BIOS, hence no Linux capability?).
I had a look at SDC's old root utillity, but it only seems to support 4.4.2 on the 3730 (no mention of 3741 or 4.4.4).
I'm a bit confused at the lineup of Dell Venue tablets. There seems to be little distinction between model numbers in advertising and even XDA has stuck them all in one forum. Is the 3741 rootable, or is it some new iteration of the older device?
Ok, looks like the 3741 is a new device after all. The first method does work, I just had an OTA update appear right as I was performing the root process.
Any update
has anyone figured out how to gain root access to the 3741 yet ?? really want to install a Root firewall and hopefully cyanogenmod

XFSTK stuck in loop "Firmware download completed. Continuing to OS..."

Hello All,
I am trying to flash boot-loader and firmware into my hard bricked mobile "Zenfone 5" which has Intel Clovertrail plus Z2560 chipset.
I am using intel phone flash tool but the problem is xfstk is stuck in the loop of "Firmware download completed. Continuing to OS...". It is showing that firmware download is completed but instead of continuing to OS it is again flashing the firmware and this keep on going until the timeout reaches.
Please see the log file and explain me why this is happening and how to resolve this issue?
Guys, your help will be much appreciated, I am stuck with this issue for last 5 days.
Thanks

It's look like you used stranger file to flash to ZenFone (i guess from Acer or Dell right?!) .Pls following http://23pin.logdown.com/posts/240975-zenfone-rescue-guide to rescue your phone. Goodluck[emoji1]

Yes, I tried with all the possible firmware files which I found over the internet for clovertrail chipset. I have also triedthe files given in this link ( http://www.mediafire.com/folder/7qapfy4zqvxf6 ) under zenfone 5 folder which is mentioned in the article you recommended.
To my surprise I was able to completely load the firmware using the files of Lenovo K900,but obviously it didn't work as those were not meant for Zenfone 5. With all other files I am facing the same issue of looping "Firmware download completed. Continuing to OS...".
I beleive I am not using the right firmware files for my versions of Zenfone 5 which has clovertrail plus Z2560 chipset WW T00J Indian release. Please help with this issue?
Thanks

I was facing the same issue simply do all the process the same only one difference, once xFSTK shows you "continuing to OS..." unplug the phone and exist the program, open the program again and this time remove the dirictry value from the WF DnX and from IFWI it should appear as "n/a" and only leave the img file in the OS image, now do the process again, it might lose connection try powering the phone on and off until it gets the connection and then you should get to the bootloader.

Help! with Dell Streak 7

I'm getting desperate! I tried to install jellybean on my Dell Streak 7 using the ROM Manager method described elsewhere on the site. At first, I could not get the zip file to work. I tried both of giveen's files, the last was Android422_Dell_Streak7_Windows.zip. Now ROM Manager is stuck in recovery mode and my laptop does not recognize my tablet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Lenovo Tab 4 8 inch tablet (TB-8704F) bricked

Hi. I have a Lenovo Tab 4 8 inch tablet (TB-8704F). I rooted the tablet and in the process of trying to get rid of the Wifi feature I tried deleting the file wlan.ko from /system/lib/modules. Now the tablet refuses to start and it's not detected by my computer. I assume it's soft or hard bricked. Anyone could help to re-soft it or something like that?
Any luck yet ?
Any luck yet? Can you get the device in Fastboot mode ? In case you need IMG files: Using the brilliant YouTube tutorial from RootJunky on 'How to pull your own stock Android firmware from your device', I have pulled BOOT.IMG, SYSTEM.IMG and RECOVERY.IMG from my device, TB-8704F - Android 8.1.0.

Hello Folks,
Ive got a Dell Venue 8 7840 which is kinda bricked. I can enter the Recovery mode on the Device and the Intel Phone Flash-tool wont recognize the tablet.

I installed the Intel USB Driver for the tool and i have the files from the guide.
