Overheating in car - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It happened already three times that while traveling in a car with my new Samsung S6 Edge suddenly without using it overheats beyond measure , I could cook an egg . The device was placed in a place not hot but my car was hot . I had to turn off the phone to allow it to cool down and now today I have begun to turn the device off if the temperature by car and the car is above 30 degrees celsius . Has anyone similar experiences ? Otherwise the phone will not accuse any problems and will not overheat never out of the car .

Not sure if my car ever gets to 30 degrees Celsius in the UK but at about 23c on an old 2 amp charger running bluetooth GPS and waze navigator. mine seems cold when removed from the car .
Admittedly the air con is running full blast and my main reference my old s4 which ran extremely hot in the same circumstances.
Sorry I don't seem to be much help but may be it's a dud unit or may be it's hotter under the screen.

Mine did overheat while taking pictures and couldn't use flash..

Mine overheats EVERY TIME I install new themes!
I have to switch it off to cool down because I am afraid!

And yesterday after 10 minutes in call with the screen on the same!

[Q] Battery hit 55c, is my Samsung GS3 damaged?

I woke up this morning sat up and grabbed my phone off my nightstand like I do every morning and dropped it instantly, it was extremely hot. I turned on the screen and saw that my batter was scolding 55c it's normally 27 - 29c when I check it throughout the day. I am really concerned about the longevity of my battery and phone. Was the battery hot enough to permanently damage any of the components? Is the battery safe to use or is it ruined? There doesn't appear to be any swelling.
This is the battery I have and the case I am using. http://www.ianker.com/product/70SMI9300-B1B72A/859

Wrong forum, check the very first thread.
Sounds like your battery is going to rupture, throw it away now.

Right, like i'm going to throw away a brand new $40 battery. Where else would I post this? It's a Q and fits under Help. I also searched Google for at least an hour and couldn't find any good information pertaining to the safe temp range.
Like the man said you are in the wrong forum .
You have I9300 or not see sticky top of the page .
Test battery if it swells then do not use it .

MicroSD card flap doesn't close evenly?

Does anyone else have issues closing their MicroSD flap fully? It seems like it never goes even on mine and I'm wondering if I should exchange it.
Here is an image of it but it's somewhat hard to see. If you notice the die by the headphone is higher than the side by the power button
You can also compare it to the other side of the headphone. It sits slightly higher than the casing on the other wise of the headphone jack

Blue ,
I have s similar situation, my charging port is no longer close like how it came originally. What should I do ? Will sony fix that or is there an easy fix I can do myself? Since the charging port flap no longer closes , water and dust can get inside the phone.
Thanks in advance

Swear O'Clock for Android Wear??

Hello. I have just purchased today a LG G Watch after my Gear 1 died, and I really wanted to use the Swear O'Clock watch face (the one copied from Pebble, seen it on 9gag, looks awesome), but I am unable to find it. Can someone please point it out? I've been able to find something similar as a watch face regarding weather, but the clock itself was far more important to me than the weather. Please help guys, I don't mind if the app is not free, I'll buy it, I just really wanna have it
I made a Facer face ill post later

The white text is the only thing that shows when the display is dim, rest appears when it is awake.
Time shows when cards come up on the screen if you have preview enabled, and charge/cloud icons appear above the time and do not get jumbled in it.
Single digit minutes show up as "o' six" so it dont look odd.
Thank youuuuuuuuu

I'm also currently making a standalone watchface for Android Wear with the same concept. I'll let you know as soon as it's released on Google Play.

Horrible Overheating!

So far I've had horrible experiences with my SM-G925T. I got it a month ago. First, the SIM got stuck, and I went to the LA Samsung store which was an hour away from me and they said they couldn't do anything. Naturally, I was furious since I spent all that time to drive over there, but eventually I just ended up sending it into the service center in Plano, Texas. That experience was surprisingly pleasant as the whole thing took about a week and I got my phone back fixed. So now, on to the current issue. I always leave my S6 charging overnight on the table next to my bed, with the night clock on. I always use the stock adapter fast charger. So, when I got up today I went to check my phone and strangely, the night clock still said 3 a.m. I went to touch my phone, and it was so hot that my hand immediately retracted as a reflex. Unfortunately, I did not have a temperature gun or anything, but it felt similar to a boiling kettle. This could have caused serious injury and / or a fire if I had not checked it when I did. The phone is completely unresponsive with the night clock stuck at 3 a.m. as mentioned before and I try to connect it to my computer via USB and it did not recognize it at all. There is no physical damage at all(see pics). I plan to contact Samsung and will update this post when I receive a response.

Lg v10 h901 cpu overheating problems

My lg v10 overheats when playing games or using it for a long time. My cpu temps get up to 115°F and keep increasing. Is there any fix for this? I also close all my apps and make sure they are not running. Is anyone else having this problem? I am rooted and have twrp recovery installed. I saw a post about the g3 overheating to and the solution was to put thermal paste on the cpu. I don't know if I would need to do that with my lg v10.

Ummm, yeah... Between 140° & 160°F is normal under gaming load... Around 185°F is over heating... If you want to fix 115° Temps I would suggest turn off the phone, or sticking it in the freezer... Lmao, hell, if you stick it in your pocket it going to be at least 100... Just for your body heat... Just a suggestion, use Google for this next time
