Hey folks, I was wondering if any of you have come across this issue i am having. When i press firmly on the front and back of the S6 edge simultaneously ( slightly a little bit above the middle of the screen and on the same side on the back) there seems to be a popping sound. It sounds like its coming from the back of the device about right next to the camera lens. Any ideas about what it is? Any help would be appreciated.

can be..write Samsung help team..discuss the problem..they wrote back 24H max..I've got my touchscreen replaced

Hello all,
2 days ago I received my S6 Edge.. Awesome device. Really happy with it in fact.
As I always do with my phones.. I play around with them a bit..
Suddenly I noticed this weird loosen up front panel on the top left of the device.. You can hear it move a bit (like a click sound) for half a millimeter whenever I pressed firmly..
Does anyone of you have a similar issue.. or would it be limited to my device?
update: getting switched for another one. No others have reported this issue so far.

It is being switched for a same S6 edge as I love the device.
I have spoken to some others and they don't have this issue.. so all will be fine. Topic can be closed.

Hi I bought the galaxy s6 edge black on 22nd soon after getting it i realised that the screen has a defect in terms some round circles below the glass. I noticed it when the screen is off in direct sunlight. the circle or spotting creates some discolour around under the sunlight where as it should stay flat black. I got it checked at the service centre of Samsung and they cross checked with their S6 Edge device which dint have any. Post which they issues a DOA where in i can go back to dealer and exchange it. I went back to dealer and got another unit in exchange plus its touch stopped functioning. Dealer removed another unit this time in Gold color which had a similar issue and was again verified by the service centre. So far all 3 device back to back has add similar problem. I got the 4th unit which again has similar problem and i have registered a complain with Samsung Customer care. If get no response will be going in for 4th DOA.
Any solution on this has anyone else noticed this issue in direct sunlight when screen stays off ?
Another issue I found is excessive noise issue in Camera under low light condition before taking the picture more like preview. My 4th device has Sony sensor. I don't think I had this issue in my 1st device which I used for 5 days. Can anyone confirm on this noise issue. attaching the screenshot.

I don't have issues with camera. It's working good as of now.

The noise "issue" on preview is normal. Reviewers have mentioned that. As long as you get good pictures after taking the shot, then I don't see any problem. This maybe is Samsung's way of "optimizing" their camera app.

Odd problem.
When i tap on the screen of my rather new P8 it sounds a bit hollow.
I think the touchscreen is not as attached as it was from new, if i push the screen with both thumbs and "massage" the screen the sound goes away but returns. (And it has just recently started and i am a bit worried it will get worse)
Anyone else had trouble with this. I believe the touch screen has somehow come loose.
PS. It's not like it's about to fall out of the phone and i cannot feel it sitting any higher in the case but there is a distinct knocking sound when i for example type in a number to call.

Hi guys, upgraded to the Mate 10 recently from a dying Galaxy S4. Love the phone but something has been bothering me since I noticed it yesterday.
Whenever I try to scroll on pages from the very edges of the screen (think half the finger is off the screen), the content on the screen doesn't scroll for about a few milliseconds then jerks suddenly towards my finger, as if to compensate for not scrolling earlier.
However, if I move my finger to the edge of the screen from somewhere else, scrolling works fine.
Has anyone else encountered this? Should I bring it back to have it replaced or is this just some software touch rejection at work? Pretty distressed as I intend to keep this phone for at least four years (same as my S4).

Tried replicating on my Mate 10 (Rom 119). Works fine for me.
I have the same problem... Its just so bad when aiming in a game.
What firmware are you on ?
Because I tried to do it also, but it's working just fine for me.
Same for me no problem with firmware 127-C432

Probably full screen gestures messing with touch detection. Keyboard presses are also affected, must use Gboard in one handed mode so that it's smaller on screen and doesn't go to the edges
