CM 12.1 for S3 Neo problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all ,
So , I decided to put CM 12.1 on my GT-I9301I and i've stuck at one point for hours .
At first , I went thorugh all these steps slowly and precisely so i dont fail or anything .
The part where im stuck is that when in theory i installed TWRP through odin , my phone just loads up stock recovery all the time , no matter what . I tried CWM too and nothing changes .
Just so you know , of course i used 2nd method in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...99&postcount=2 .
Again i went slowly through all steps and even in odin everything went down good .
Mabye there is some hint in odin log :
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> recovery.tar.md5 is valid.

Did you resolved this? If not you may try boot into recovery by pressing and holding vol up and home right after flashing cwm/twrp and odin auto resets your phone

[Q] I9300 Stuck on S Logo Original Rom

I bought the device on my way to UK. Must ship device for warranty.
Device is SGS III blue started good and downloaded apps. after removing original sim and inserting US sim. phone start to heat restart and now stuck on samsung galaxy s III logo and restart again. Download mode works fine but wipe data V up+Home+Power doesnt work. Original Rom country code was XSG. Any idea?
I think I need full stock firmware not only .MD5 on Odin but CSC -Phone- PDA-Bootloader any International version.
As long as download mode working that means we safe are we?

boot into the recovery you installed and wipe cache/dalvik

Do you have a Canadian version of the note? If so you have to disconnect the phone from the pc as soon as Odin shows PASS, pull the battery from the phone, put the battery back in the phone and enter recovery with the vol + and - and the power button.

[Q] Stuck in boot-loop. How do I reset to factory?

Hi,
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II, (SCH-1605), and I have apparently soft-bricked / boot-looped my device.
I followed droidstyle's tutorial titled, "[GUIDE][VZW Edition]How to Root/Rom/Return to Stock the VZW Galaxy Note II!."
Installed Odin on my Win8 x64 desktop
Downloaded the proper pit and tar files from his tutorial
ran odin from the "downloading" screen
How can i fix my phone and/or reset it to factory condition?
What may have caused my phone to boot-loop?
P.S. (I still wish to root the phone and try some custom roms once it is operational)
try flashing root66 with no pit file.
Thank you for your response.
I tried flashing with "rooot66_VZW_stock_system.tar.md5," in both bootloader and PDA slots in Odin3 v1.85.
I ran at least one attempt of both with and without the pit file. The yellow highlighting is present.
The phone still seems to be in a boot-loop. Could it be that I'm using the wrong Samsung Drivers on my PC? They were plug-and-play as far as I could tell. I did run the OTA updates before I knew they had something to do with locking down the bootloader.
Below I will paste the various Odin logs...

Ok what you need to do is reflash root66 in pda with pit, power the device off, press and hold the volume up/home/power buttons and boot into recovery, then wipe data/factory reset, and reboot.

and dont flash anything in bootloader...simply trying random techniques is a good way to turn your device into a paper weight.

After flashing with Odin you must do a factory reset.
I also had this on my Galaxy S2 Plus.

Thank you. I was previously unaware of the power/home/vol.up combination for factory reset. I re-flashed root66 in PDA w/ the PIT file, however this time it went to the android with a neutron-like animation inside signifying updates. It worked w/o running a reset, but I ran one anyways to ensure I know how it works.
Again, thank you for your support.

Try flashing the latest TWRP through Odin. Download it from their website 2.8.6.1 in .tar format and flash. Then flash the stock firmware.

any solution plz?
Hi...if your problem is still active - not solved! Here a little Note for you that maybe help you to get s6 edge running again.
First you need to start Odin 3.12.03 with Admin rights!!!
Then you could use the Firmware from my Google Drive if you want. Its the German Variant with CSC-DBT
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pDybynK6_Huu-vjM_azIjgz30IIhlEAP/view?usp=sharing
If you want to use SamFirm by your own. Keep attention that you check the "Binary Nature" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If not...its just 1,9 Gb and dont work
If yes...its over 2,3 Gb and work fine
so good luck man
