[Q] Error: Universal Exploit method has been patched on this firmware!

I have Desire x Unlocked boot loader, s-on, Hboot-1.25.0002
I tried root my phone with HTC Quick Root in a virtual windows seven in Parallel desktop,
I select Universal Exploit and then clicked Root Device,
All Procedures passed OK, till my phone goes to Recovery mode, and HTC Quick Root prompted waiting for device...
at this time My virtual Machine doesn't identify USB attached to it.
I removed battery and insert it again and powered on my phone.
Now...
My phone working normally and I don't have any problem but I can not root my device at all,
Prompt Me " Error: Universal Exploit method has been patched on this firmware!"
I tried :
Frama root,
Kingo Android ROOT,
SRSRoot for Android,
CWM 6 recovery root,
UnlockRoot Pro,
DooMLoRD_v4,
Impactor_0.9.14,
SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse
Can someone Help Me?

As you've also posted this question in the Desire X Help Thread you should wait for an answer there instead of having the same post twice.
In future, rather than asking the same thing multiple times, please be patient and simply wait until you get an answer. There could be a delay because people simply online at the time or maybe they can't help you.
Patience is a virtue

[Q] Unable to root my device!

Hey bros,
I am unable to root my Lenovo A369i.I tried by Kingo root (led by some kind of logic that it should be more secure and more successfull than one click root applications like Framaroot,by the way Kingo rooted four of my devices runinig android 4.2.2)It appears that procedure of rooting succedded, the process goes well, steps are done without complications (scripts fetched, etc.) but seems unrooted after reboot (checked by Root checker).Thinking of Root checker proving wrong i tried multiple root-demanding applications like Greenify,No-frills cpu control and similar, they worked fine but one thing was a mystery.None of them asked for SU permissions to launch ( the windows when "deny" or "allow" appear). So i thought of SU mistake then.I launched SU and after a short binary update, window saying that SU binary instalation gone wrong closses the SU.What is more stupid is that Kingo root, after the sucessfull root and reboot, shows that device is unrooted, even though rooted by the same sources not 15 seconds agh, come on!So after surfing a bit i found that Framaroot 1.8 roots my relatively cheap phone to have some kind of that "anti-root" security.Tried Framaroot, launched, rooting sucessful appears or something like that,BAM,nothing again.Surfed again, found that Vroot, tried, rooting sucessful,im happy, guess what?Phone keeps soft rebooting all the time. After i power up Android and get to the screen,20 seconds pass and it reboots.Fatory reset, doesnt work, again, doesnt work,FOR THE 10th time,it works,I am able to use my phone normally but I just want it rooted!.At this time i feel kinda half-rooted.Root demanding applications sometimes work, sometimes dont.Even the same root demanding applications I use sometimes work, sometimes don t.Never heard of this problem nor found the solution. No one had this kind of problems on any device,if this was specific for my device,i would have found it somewhere ,but noting. Thanks for your help!
Try to use root master.

[Q] Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 LTE (9015W) root and custom recovery

I just purchased the Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7 LTE (9015W) from T-Mobile and I was wondering if there is a method for obtaining the boot.img and the recovery.img so that a custom recovery and root can be created. I looked at this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690) and it mentioned that I needed root in order to get those two. Is there a temporary root method I could use so I can obtain those img files? It is running Android 6.0.1 if that is an issue or not. The stock recovery information is listed as:
Code:
TCL/9015W/Pixi4-7_4G_TMO
6.0.1/MMB29M/vBC3-0
user/release-keys
in the same boat
Like the original poster i have the same device and tried every (literally) way to try and root this device with no success at all.
If anyone has the key I would be in your debt.
I did come across recovery and stock rom and worried because they are one year old. BUT, I am ready to try anything.
Same here. I'm trying to use this tablet for my cars dash, i figured it'd be sick for all my car functions to be in a tablet with LTE. But most of the cool functions need the device to be rooted. Desperately trying to figure this out.
Same
I have the same one, been trying to find a rom whether its rooted or not, or custom, its stuck in a boot loop, i can get it power off and get into recovery, but factory reset is a no go. If i had an image i can flash it and pray i can salvage it.
Yes it'll be nice to be able to make this tablet useful, use internal micro SD as ram, remove google bloat ware and sightly over clock.
Got this device for free but if I can't root it then it might become a Christmas gift. LOL

Hi.. In the same boat as you.. There is a temporary root method for 6.0.1. Install the latest kingroot on your pc and on the 7 lte. First try to root it from your pc( it will not be able to root it) then use the kingroot on your tab. Voila you have your temporary root. You might have to try it more than once. I personally use it for adaway for changing the hosts file and the root goes away if I restart the tab.
Best of luck man hope you can get us that permanent root and custom recovery!
Possible temporary rooting method found!

I may have found a simple way to achieve at least temporary root. By accident really lol...
I was playing around with hidden menus and found an app available on the Play store called "Hidden Menus"
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.freespirit.hms&hl=en
For tablet users, this is a perfect way to access some of androids secret menus typically only accessible through a dialer. As tablets generally have the dialer excluded from their systems, this is an awesome workaround.
On the Pop 7 Tablet (9015W/9015B) there will be a selection near the top of the list labeled "com.jrdcom.user2root"
and its selection will show .User2RootReceiver. Click this and then press yes when asked if you are sure if you want to run it.
running this option will bring you to another screen that will have "com.jrdcom.user2root.JrdUser2Root" at the top and then underneath will have two buttons labeled "Root" and "User". These two buttons will change your default user for ADB.
If you press "Root" you will see a message flash at the bottom of the screen that says "Update to Root Success"
Thats it!
Plug your Alcatel Pop 7 Tablet (9015W/9015B) into your computer with your usb cable (Make sure to enable USB Debugging mode first! If you don't know how, just search Enable USB Debugging on xda. Enabling this feature is beyond the scope of my post for today.
Open command prompt and type "adb shell" (Without quotes of course)
you should see the prompt change to something like the following for example:
Code:
[email protected]_4G_Telus:/ #
All Done!
Just be aware that rebooting the device seems to force it to default back to user mode. If you see this:
Code:
[email protected]_4G_Telus:/ $
then you are in user mode.
Hope this helps!
The user2root tool doesn't seem available on my T-Mobile branded version of this device.
Amazing!!! Worked for me too
Alcatel Pop7 LTE 9015B from Virgin canada (Bell)
Not a permanent root, but at least I was able to get rid of facebook bloat (com.facebook.appmanager, com.facebook.system)
These packages were impossible to deactivate and were using background data
