Completely bricked my phone. Help please. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bricked my phone while installing official update from system update. I tried to flash it with SP flash tool, loaded the scatter, formatted it and then clicked Download with Da Dl...
my phone was detected and started downloading but it wasn't writting the preloader, it was stuck in 0%.
So I reattached the USB cable but alas, My computer culdn't recognize it. Windows says "USB Device not recognized"
I tried 3 different computers, uninstalled every driver with USBdeview. reinstalled them. But nothing changed. Tried pressing power and volume buttons combo. Nothing happened.
What to do now?
N.B. I flashed it with same scatter & firmware before. It was ok then, but last time it bricked.

[Q] Help flashing Alcatel C7 that boots automatically when plugging the USB

Hello,
During the past days I've been trying to flash my C7 with no success. When pressing power button, it turns on and displays the Alcatel logo but stays there, it does not load the OS.
I have tried to use SPtools to flash it, I have the mtk drivers installed in my PC. When I plug the switched-off phone to the computer it turns on and couple seconds after my PC detects it (I can see the preloader mtk loaded on the device manager); however, one second right after it is detected, it is disconnected as it keeps booting to show the logo and stay there. Obviously, if the phone is not detected I cannot use SPtools to flash it.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.
PS: I have also tried to connect to it with adb, and dump a ROM using sideload with no sucess, the PC recognizes it from the recovery but after copying the image nothing new happens on reboot.

SP flash tool isn't detecting Phone though it's detected by Windows.

Hi. I own a Lenovo S850. While trying to update system from the settings, it suddenly turned off and never opened. So I downloaded the Stock rom and flashed it via SP Flash tool. After opening the mobile, it was not like before. SO I downloaded stock rom from another website, connected phone with SP flash tool and formatted from there. It showed ok. Then I clicked download with Da/DL checked. But it couldn't detect the phone. I reattached the USB(It has attached battery), it showed USB connected on Device Manager but SP flash tool couldn't detect. I tried from 3 different PC's.
Duo to 1st post on XDA, they aren't giving me permission to post the link of screenshot. But if you want to see, just remove the space before .com and paste it to browser : i.imgur .com/sj8So7S.jpg
Before formatting the last time, USB VCOM only connects for 2 second, I had to click download and then I needed to attach the phone. But now it doesn't connect for only 2 seconds. It shows the whole time I connect with PC.
I uninstalled every driver with USB deview, reinstalled and updated VCOM driver. But nothing changed.
When I click and hold the power button, nothing comes up on phone, not even the backlight. Tried to enter in recovery mode, nothing shows. What should I do now?

Accidentally removed USB while flashing ROM through SPFT

Help! As what the title says, my computer can't recognize the phone after, and I can't flash through spft and my phone doesn't boot up. I looked through the device manager, and it says "Unknown Device". I tried uninstalling the mtk driver and restarting the pc, but its no use I also tried updating the mtk driver again with the same mtk driver, but the pc says it is up to date.
Is there any way to recover my phone?

Bricked Acer A3-A20. Please Help me!!

Hello everyone,
I really need help. A friend asked me to fix his tablet because it had malwares, so I rooted the device, and deleted the bad files, but then i got error messages, and at the end it went off. Now when i turn it on, it's stuck on the ACER logo, MT65xx goes on and off, I install all the drives but still goes on and off. I sent through adb sideload the stock firmware Acer_AV0K0_A3-A20_1.018.00_WW_GEN1_DCC thinking that i was going to unbrick the device but it didn't work. I tried smart phone flash with the 1.018.00 firmware but I keep getting BROM ERROR (2004). I checked the list of errors, and I changed the compatibility, and ran sp with administrator, but still error 2004. What can I do to unbrick it? By the way, I am following this xda thread to fix it, but I can't (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59693904&postcount=480) Thank you everyone!

I have a similar problem, but no error message...it just seems the computer can't see the tablet. I tried my Windows 10 machine and an old Windows XP machine I have lying around. I've installed several versions of drivers, and nothing. I'm so frustrated right now. @paulktm I tried your file, but there's nothing there. I don't get any kind of error message, the Win10 machine just acts like it sees the tablet for a second, then doesn't anymore. The XP machine sees it, but fails to install any drivers for it...even when I manually install them, they don't seem to do any good.
I'm so frustrated right now!!!
This is an old thread but maybe some poor soul finds it like I did and manages to get his device back as well.
I've had a lot of trouble with an Acer Iconia A3 A20 FHD that was stuck at the first logo screen. Powered off and connected to the charger it only showed the battery logo with the flash but no animation any more. Booting into recovery (Pwr+VolDn) worked but mounting the system partition didn't work.
SP Flash always aborted with the dreaded "BROM ERROR: S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (0x7D4)" / "BROM ERROR: S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004)" although cabling and drivers were perfectly all right. Obviously Acer patched the preloader in order to lock out SP Flash's download agent - that's customer support - thank you [email protected]#%&!!!
Solution: Power off, start SP Flash download/readback/whatever, press VolUp *and* VolDn simultaneously and plug in the usb cable. This way the download agent should be able to do it's job. I also plugged out the battery all the time and this seems to be necessary.
Flashing worked as it should and the tablet booted nicely and I didn't even loose my apps and data since I excluded the USRDATA partition from flashing.
Good luck!
Hi
same problem, tablet bricked after installing custom recovery and on boot loop
tried to unbrik with but SPF tools, com port is working but the firmware won't upload...
I waited for ages.. nothing...

Hisense c20 bricked after root.

Hello all.
I have hit a problem with my Hisense c20. I rooted using kingoroot and everything seemed to work fine. SuperUser was installed and working as it should. The phone then ran flat so I plugged it in and booted but it just hung on the SMART powered by android screen. So I restarted again into recovery mode and cleared system cache. Rebooted again but same thing. So tried again but with the wipe user data option. Still just hangs there. I then decided to try flash a stock rom via needrom. I followed the instructions but cannot seem to get the phone to be visible as a com port on Windows 7 64 bit. I have tried different cables and USB ports and reinstalled drivers countless times. Please could anyone assist me on getting this phone to be seen as a com port so I can flash it with QFIL.
Kind regards
Ryan
Ok so i managed to figure this out on my own. Basically what i did was plugged phone into pc while holding volume + and power. Phone showed up as Hisense in device manager, along with ADB device and USB composite device. I then right clicked on Hisense and uninstalled driver. Then i downloaded QCDLoader drivers and manually installed the driver via Have disk option and made sure to select the 9006 port driver package from the qcser.inf driver package. Once that was installed the phone was detected as a COM port. I then went into eMMC software download program in QPST and set the phone to download mode. Then back to device manager and saw QHUSB unidentified device. Right clicked that and went through same procedure as the 9006 driver except selecting the QCDLoader option instead of 9006 package. Phone then allowed me to flash Stock rom and was unbricked after a cache clear and system wipe. Took 3 days to figure it out but it worked. If anyone reading this is struggling with the same problem, let me know and i can go into more depth to try help. Really late and about to head off to bed.
Kind regards
Ruan
