Hi, any body knows the size of small screws to fasten the bottom cover. I lost all screws and didn't find yet new suitable screws.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi i just purchased a Snap on cover for my 8525.. seems like cheap plastic but will this effect the slider in anyway ? Because i doooo notice that its a little looser not then it really was. Does anyone else use snap on covers ? Please do let me know. And if there is also a way to re-tighten the slide. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
Same problem here
Hello,
I have one of those cheap plastic snap on covers, i think it's a good protector but the keyboard is not as tight as it use to be.
I too am looking for a suggestion for fixing the loose sliding of the keyboard.
I had come across on one of the forums regarding a fix, had to do w/ tape. i'm not so sure if this a true fix or a temporary fix or just a fix that is inexpensive.
But any advice will help.
Same, here. I'm using one of the snap on smoke covers. The keyboard part of the cover is a little lose. The sliding keyboard itself is a little lose as well. Don't want to stick tape in it. Would rather find a permanent solution.
if its poor quality add it to this thread

I have the Boxwave plastic "smoke grey" cover, I love it.
The only problem I had was that it was difficult to get one edge (the bottom) to snap. Eventually I discovered that the front snap-on cover absolutely has to be hooked from the bottom first - If you do that the other snaps engage easily with no trouble.
Hello everyone!
I am looking for something special, it's bugging me that no flip case I've found got a cutout for the LED light in the top left corner of the phone.
I've tried to make one on my own by drilling a hole in the case I've got and put a little plastic tube in there to get the light through it. It was good but then again, it's not factory made and it doesn't look that good as I wished for. Then I just cutout a piece of the top left corner of the flip case and again, it looks aweful but it does the job.
So my question is, are there any flip cases out there that got a little hole for the LED light? It would be great if it were an S-View cover as well but it's okay if it doesn't have S-View.
Additional question: Does anyone of you got the Spigen S-View flip case? If so, is the front made out of metal or plastic? I'm thinking about buying one and then drilling a better hole since metal is easier to handle than plastic.
Thanks in advance, BunnyPig!

I ditched my flip case for a wallet/card holder/media stand by Cellairis.
Hello everyone!
Well, I have quite unusual question..
The housing of my Xperia Z2 is in terrible condition. I have used Love Mei metal bumper for some time but it was made very imprecisly so as fast as possible I took it off and threw away to avoid more damage of my Xperia. The varnish on the corners is gone and there are several chippings on the silver strips around the housing. What is more power button has scratches too. I don't want to change whole housing, what I would like to do is to paint it somehow and recycle it that way. Could anyone give me some tips how to start, what kind of varnish should I use, and is it simply worth a shot?
Greetings, thanks for help.
Just wondering if it would be possible to remove the bottom section of the 'aluminium' frame the the ZU. The specific part of the frame is apparently made of a softer plastic which means it gets dented easily such as in my case. I've already purchased replacement materials but have no clue how to remove the originals. Any ideas?
Yeah, it's possible but I have no idea how. My guess is to remove the back panel, and then loosen the lower part. You can get the back panel off by heating it so the glue that holds the glass gets warm, and making the glass removable by using a small suction cup. I believe there are a few videos on YouTube, so I recommend you checking them out. Also, search for how to remove that bottom part on YouTube too if you haven't already.
