Hey Guys, I have 2 SM-G925F phones, an older one with a cracked screen and new one I got today. I had originally updated to 5.1.1 on the older phone, installed Samsung pay on it and worked fine. I rooted the phone and tripped knox due to the new kernel. When I got my new phone, I updated it to the stock 5.1.1 and tried to download Samsung pay on it but it says the app isn't supported on my device, even though it had work previously. Any recommendations on how to fix this? Is there someway I can reset my google/play account as to showing my new Edge that doesn't have Knox tripped? Thanks!
Where did you install from?
The pay app? I downloaded it originally from the Google play store.
I have to search because I didn't find on playstore
You won't be able to find it in the playstore if your phone is rooted, it shows as "unable to install on your device"
Also, you won't find it if the phone isn't from a supported carrier. I have the international G925F and I had to sideload the framework and the app though I can't get it to work.

Hoping someone on here can help, I recently purchased the new Samsung Galaxy Mega GT-I9152 5.8. The problem is, I live in China, so it came pre-installed with the Chinese firmware which has a lot of restrictions on it. It has Android 4.2.2 Is there any way to get rid of the Chinese firmware and install the US firmware onto it?
And yes, I'm aware of all the fakes in China. But this was purchased from the Main China Mobile store.
Any help would be appreciated, I tried google search, but I couldn't seem to get the results I was looking for.
If it is not locked you can root it then use titanium backup to remove any app you dont need.

Well, I succesfully rooted it and was able to uninstall all of the bloatware.
A problem I'm still having however is that it still blocks paid apps, and play store. It has S Voice installed and it works great for basic commands. But for anything advanced, you have to speak to it in Chinese. I installed the English US version of S Voice, but since my phone has Chinese Firmware the program won't work.
My firmware/baseband version is I9152ZCUAMG3, if I were to flash a US firmware/baseband version, would it unlock/fix any problems.

Since you have rooted without any problems then it is not locked. Use odin to flash any firmware from sammombile or samsung-updates. You might lose root in the process but you can always root again.Good Luck!

I tried flashing the Taiwan firmware, but it did not change my firmware. I will type my steps out here, if I made a mistake please tell me .
1st, I rooted it using odin.
2nd, I verified the root with programs that require it.
3rd. Powered off, hit volume down, power button, and home button at the same time.
Opened odin, I put the firmware rom in the pda slot.
4th, hit start.
5th let it run after this it auto booted my phone, and said successful, but when I checked it out, it was still the same old version?
Am I missing a step?
After odin go to recovery and factory reset.

My mega installed cwm and rooted fine without a problem. I got it unlocked though. it is a carrier version but the guy unlocked it before selling to me.
I try doing the same to my friend's mega who's a locked rogers carrier version and not only did cwm recovery refuse to install, root would not work, and i kept getting some yellow message at the top right called "warranty bit: kernel"
I tried flashing the stock rom via odin and did a full factory reset. wifi will not switch on..it just stays in the off position.
does this have something to do with knox? How come my mega rooted no problem and i never had these problems with my mega yet my friend's mega is basically locked out? Do I need to unlock his phone before rooting? Is this because the bootloader is locked due to the fact that it's a locked phone?
Help please
Thanks.
EDIT
I was able to flash cwm philz touch version and rooted successfully. I still get the Warranty Bit Kernel message at the top and the phone boots a lot slower than it should I also downloaded wifi fixer and it states my wifi is "stuck".

It's the same sgh-i527. I figured out the problem. Newer Megas plus all future Samsung devices will come with with a permanent knox bootloader. Once the knox kernel goes 0x01, not only is your warranty void but it ****s your stock Rom up.
My first mega was a older version without the knox crap on it. Solution is to go custom Rom, I installed pacrom on my friends mega and all is working again.
We must boycott Samsung as they are taking the apple route.

Hi forum,
I wanted to upgrade my note to lollipop, and since my phone was rooted I decided it was a good time to factory reset and start fresh. Before this, however, I had Lucky Patcher's modded play store installed and even after a full factory reset initiated on the phone, the modded play store is still installed. What is the way to get the normal play store back on my phone? Also my phone will not allow me to check for software updates for another day since I rebooted the phone while the update was downloading. All help is greatly appreciated!

You are out of luck here. No help with anything to do with lucky patcher is found here. It is banned on the site.
Only advise I will give is to flash a factory rom to your device and stay away from lucky patcher.
Hi ,
I recently Unrooted my phone by flashing Stock BRE5 ROM. I am able to use banking apps without problem. But when I try to use samsung apps, I get errors. For example Samsung Pass detects the device as rooted. SAMSUNG PAY is also not working . Please note that I have used 3rd party app and it confirms device is not rooted and also it passed safety net check. Please help me with a solution to this. I don't use Samsung PAY but I need to sell the device and need these services to be activated.

if you have already been rooted Samsung Pay, Secure Folder, so the Knox container will no longer work for you. regardless of your samsung unroot and used FW stock
You have already discarded your device and you will not sell it advantageously. the future owner will check it out first, of course, if it's not stupid
You mean to say..there is no way to go back after tripping Knox?
What's done is done buddy....
All right..
When I use Yoti I only get the white logo screen, then the app closes. After googling the issue, it appears that the app does not allow rooted devices. I've since tried RootCloak to no avail.
My phone is an s6 edge plus, rooted but still has the stock ROM. I believe Knox is tripped as well, not sure if Yoti checks that though?

Even with magisk hide it doesn't work?

Just removed supersu and installed magisk. Yoti no longer crashes but I get an error about rooted devices, so still no luck...
