Hi,
I'm unable to reconnect to Wi–Fi networks after connecting to it for the first time and then leaving it.
When I come back in to range it will reconnect momentarily reconnect and then drop the connection.
The only temporary fix that I've found is to reboot the phone whilst in range of the network although when I leave it and come back again it will have the same problem.
Has anyone seen this before or know how I can fix it?

Same wifi or it happens with all routers? If just one then probably router setting, if all then hardware, modem or rom problem with your phone. You haven't given any information about your phone so no-one can help you.
I have same problem with alliance rom..
But am fine coz I don't use WiFi much..
Anyone sees that the wifi connection is very poor??? And any solution for this problem???

compared to older phones the wifi signal strenght is disgusting I have to say. I'm a bit dissapointed really. But that's basically all new devices, I also tried the s6 and it's strenght is as low as the X. Newer devices have a lower wifi signal for some reason.
I just got lg v30 thought it was a good deal. everything is fine but it has one big problem . the wifi disconnect all the time especially while downloading. when this happens I can see the cell signal along with the wifi disappears from the status bar and the phone start searching for signal.
I tried everything I could. like a full factory reset.
I also downgraded from android 8 to 7
so Is it a hardware Issue?
I had a similar problem but only with WiFi. I don't think these phones have a reach on WiFi if you are a good distance from the router I believe this is your problem. My solution I set up a WiFi tether with my laptop connected to the router so the source is closer that solved my issue

Also, try setting for 2.4GHz only. It travels further than 5GGz and it's more stable.

Hello
Im using my poco f1 with latest updates, Global version bought in China.
I have problem with wifi connection, not always but with some routers/networks.
When I try to to connect to some WiFi networks, the phone takes down the whole network.
I mean the whole thing. It just tanks the network into restarting and I have no idea why.
To actually connect the WiFi, I need to turn it on and off at least 3 times to get it to connect.
But once it does connect it stays connected but other WiFi users dont have connection.
It should not happen, but it does. I dont know what it is.
I did not change software, anything, I have this problem since I took this phone from box.
How Can I fix this?
same issue
Post MIUI Update 11.0.6.0, my device keeps on frequently disconnecting-reconnecting to my Wi-Fi connection, set at 5GHz.
However, if I am using the 2.5GHz connection, it never does the same but I am then forced to a much lesser internet speed.
Please help what and how to resolve this issue as I have already asked about it @ MI Forums, watched a lot of videos @ Youtube.
But no progress!
Thanks
Is the 5ghz signal has good connection? Try to be near the router
Cuz of the signal weak it will disconnect and try to connect to better connection

Everything works fine. Sitting right next to the router doesn't help either. I have replaced the device as well. Still same issue.
This issue is with all Mi and One Plus 7 device I have been using.

I think your router might have the problem. Check your router. Try resetting it or just contact the customer care of the router.
Try set your router to use lower channel for 5Ghz .

Tried it for all the channels available for 5Ghz, still same issue...
Could it maybe because of Android update ?
