Hi, I have an Ainol Numy 3G AX1 that's stuck on boot animation after an attempted root, I'm assuming it's soft-bricked right?
Problem is, every time I connect it to the computer to try and fix the issue it gives me a "USB device no recognized" message, it's been this way long before it was bricked, all I have is the original ROM for the device that I downloaded from a Turkish website, and I'm poorly educated on how android systems work (I don't know what to do with it), is there any way to fix this tablet? Please help, it might seem trivial but it was the last gift I got from my late father, I really wish I could have it back. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I am sincerely sorry if this is a duplicate thread but I am really struggling with this. I've been at it for about 7 days now, and i'm on the verge of throwing a mega tantrum :silly:
So this is the problem. Fundamentally the screen on my elf turns on, but doesn't go into the startup screen for CM10.
I have recently formatted my PC and most of the guides across Google search say I should install the drivers for this tablet when it is switched on normally, in order to flash new ROMs, but I can't do that.
When I try to turn the device into recovery mode, the PC thinks its an unknown device and NO drivers i've found online seem to work
I will give a donation to people who solve this problem for me!!
Thank you for any help!!!

Service centre. You're hard bricked.
You reckon they will be able to fix it???
Don't think so but you can always have a try. If you want enjoy custom ROMs and kerenls, you should have gotten supported devices.
My wife deleted some files from her Nextbook 8 HD 8 G - When she tried to repair with factory ROM, she had an incomplete image file and deepbricked her tablet. We have rescued a tablet before ( Ainol Fire ) from a deepbrick, and that tablet had an easy solution ( short the NAND ). However, I have searched many forums and now some help on howto awaken her tablet. I do get the redlight, but cant get it to boot or even show up on USB. I tried the "unbrick" kit, but nothing is happening. Is there a hard reset for this tablet? Please anyone, some helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Please tell more about your device mate . And go search on your phone forum instead here, I'm sure there is a guide for hard brick device in your phone's forum.
For example, I've a LG G2, and well, when in qhsusb_bulk mode, it can't be recover, so don't worry now.

As with most qualcomm devices, a bricked bootloader needs uart access to restore it (if a image is even available)

Hi everyone,
This may be a challenge for smart phone genius' out there (kudos to the clever person that can help me). Here is the scenario... I bought a new smart phone from Wallmart a few weeks ago (SAMSUNG model SM-G550T2). Yesterday, I decided to try to root it. I was able to root it successfully (no problems yet). Later, (after I had messed with the settings, like a dumb noob) I rebooted the phone and I get "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock" and of course it won't start. So, that said, I started scanning the internet for a way to fix this (and at first I was encouraged by all the info). Here is what I have, unsuccessfully, tried. Installed the Kies3 program on 2 different PCs. Both said that my phone was not compatible. BTW, I tried the original Kies program also and it would not connect. ODIN worked fine but I could not locate an image file of the stock firmware for this phone (maybe it's too new, I don't know). I can get the phone into DOWLOAD mode but not RECOVERY mode. If someone can help I will be eternally greatful.
YouTube on 5 stock firmware link plus manual and link to USB driver and Odin. under YouTube name rootandriodz. he even has a ROM tutorial. Im sure there are other postings as well. just in case you dont trust the first one you see. good luck, i have the same phone..
