Hey guys, this is my first time posting on this forum and i wanted to start of by saying this forum has helped me improve my phone a tone.
I just wanted to know if anyone else was able to get the same result as me on the benchmark without overclocking. I achieved this benchmark with an under-clocked CPU and i am currently using the Boeffla Kernel.
My AnTuTu score was 85578 putting me 3rd on the rankings.
If have had greater results or would like me to help you get to my results, be sure to ask me via email [email protected]
Thanks

Hello XDA
This is my first tome to start a thread, hopefully I do it right
I am just confused on how ROMs show High Benchmark results in there screenshots, but when I try to do a benchmark on my Ace I get a VERY Low result compared to what it's supposed to be, Though I have made sure no apps are running in the background, and cleared my RAM, even after checking the Media tweak, Still Very low result, Can anyone Clarify me on how to make my phone better or is that I am doing something wrong?
I am using the glmst v2 KPO ROM
Don't even worry about it. With coderom I had 1927 max. Now with gingerReal I only get 1000+, but I feel this rom much better. So I dont rely anymore on quadrant scores. I suggest you to do the same.
even if u got trillion benchmark score it doesnt mean anything.. nowadays benchmark score is crap, doesnt mean a squat. i said that because gingerbread had some problem with quadrant, thus its result is inconsistent. even there are rom makers that spoof quadrant score by tinkering with phone i/o value to make their rom looks like it got highest benchmark score. i even found an app here on xda that automate that i/o spoof, install it and u'll get godlike quadrant score.
edited: the app to spoof benchmark score like i said is that in skynet post below. that should spike anyone quadrant score to 5000
Quadrant benchmark does not mean anything....its only relevant for lagfix or filesystem changes or some kernel tweaks. Otherwise it can be hacked easily to show high benchmark scores. Someone even showed quadrant benchmark above 2100 in ace by an app which hacked quadrant .
Yes there is even an app called quadrant booster which utilizes i/o hack to boost scores by Doomlord here-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17110408
Ok thanks guys..... Its that it gets annoying when u dont get what the rom promises ya
Well, its just two since since i started playing around geekily with my Galaxy Tab P7500, 16 GB. I downloaded Antutu Benchmark and got an expected score, but then I checked their leaderboard, I found that my rank is quite less than the people who own the same device. Their scores are in 7000s, while mine is like 6800 neighbourhood.
Is their a way that I can improve the benchmark to that level? By the way, I overclocked it to 1400Mhz using pershoot's kernel and Antutu CPU Master and also modified my sdcard read cache to 4096. I tried googling but dint find any methods. Plus, I also need to improve my GPU performance, just in case.

while taking benchmarks, apart from overclocking to 1.4GHz, you need to ensure that you have the governor set to 'performance' or 'lazy' in setcpu. you also need to kill all background applications that are current running, settings->applications->manage applications->running->kill. this ensures that you get the maximum possible benchmark.
also try RieGo's kernel. its got experimental GPU overclocking

ohk, well, those good benchmark guidelines were followed by me. Anyways, thanks for reply. I need to try that kernel you've advised.

I think Riego's GPU OC kernel is not working .. i think pershoot tried it before already .. he took it out because it doesnt make any difference.
so i posted my issue in the SII forums by accident!
I ran Antutu cause my keyboard was lagging.. I know people say don't trust benchmarks too much...
but i get a benchmark of 5212 on my S3.. i've seen like 10000K!! and that scores puts me BELOW the Optiums 2x..
i did a factory reset and the score did go to 6435.. but still lower then what i see on the interwebs..
anyone have this issue of low benchmarks?
that happen to me too when i did my benchmark with antutu...
I just want to see the scores of other lg g2 devices with mine. Use the untutu benchmark that takes away the cheating. Please ! Thanks
There is an existing Benchmark thread HERE.
In future, please check properly before creating new, duplicate threads.
Guys I recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed nitrogen
Scores where around 2.4l and I flashed extreme kernel as well and had a boost of around .2 diff i.e 2.6-2.7.. stock miui global is giving me around 2.9l I know the scores are just numbers... But I'm just wondering why the difference.. please refrain from stating a custom ROM is better or stock.. just need a educated answer to this.. Thanks in advance...
on paper its a matter of optimization but in practice oxygen os port for poco scores 266k on antutu but its gaming performance is better than miui 10 roms which score 299k.
because miui recognizes benchmark apps and enables a very high performance profile (or as xiaomi calls it "thermal profile") which makes the cpu, boost to way higher numbers than what you get on aosp roms... (2.8 vs 2.4 iirc) if you find a way to make the cpu boost that high on aosp roms you can get the same score out of it...
although i suggest you never use antutu for many obvious reasons ...
i found 3dmark sling shot extreme unlimited way more reliable and consistent...
MIUI is just superior in every way ?
Thank you guys for replying this quick..sir ,the discussion is why the difference is scores.. please refrain from saying which is better..I do appreciate your opinion but we are here to hear and give opinions on the topic.. Thanks guys

Both have pros and cons. My first Poco stay with stock 10.2.3, but my daily driver goes to crdroid straight after unlock. It's your choice. If you aware of security, go deep in Los derivatives. I think the performance is result of various factors, like tweaking and optimization. Miui gave me rock solid experience with proper performance and good battery endurance, but my personal choise is Los. Stay tuned.
Regards.
I have another question guys... I wanna use root to use adaway and I'm unable to use gpay.. Any roms that I can do both? Magisk hide doesn't do the trick either
I am with Havoc OS & extreme kernel (without any tweaks) in my poco with ~250K antutu score but just using Evalution profile in thermal profile changer app gives a boost to antutu score which is around 295K.
But sorry this is not the answer you are expecting.
