Hello
I have an LG phone G3 sprint and I want to use this phone with the international GSM
please what is the solution ?
Root your phone and install custom recovery.
Then you can flash any custom rom.
Use LG One Click Root and then download autorec app from play store and install recovery.

Hi guys i have a optimus T and would instal a costum rom..so optimus one roms work on optimus T??????
mik_os 6.5.8 (CM7.1 Android 2.3.7) works great on my Optimus T. Rooted with Gingerbreak, installed Clockworkmod recovery via ROM Manager.

One more thing - as soon as there's a custom recovery installed on the phone be sure to make a backup of the ROM **BEFORE** wiping anything. If something should go sideways you'll need the backup to restore phone to its original state. I haven't found anywhere to download T-Mo's official ROM.

Hi,
i have a rooted xperia u with a LOCKED bootloader. I want to flash a custom rom to my phone, and after hours of reading, i figure that flashing CWM and using ROM manager is the easiest method, because to the best of my understanding, that method allows me to do everything with the app interface, without having to mess about in the recovery much, and since im a noob, id rather stick to the app interface.
Since i cant install CWM from rom manager itself as my device isnt supported, can i use recoverX to install CWM to my phone which has a locked bootloader, and then use rom manager to flash a custom rom?
Just install cwm.. Rom manager Is not required.. Just use cwm to flash zips.. It has a ui of its own.. And flash custom Roms which are for locked bootloader!!

If you are intending to flash a new custom rom staight away their is no need to root your phone because custom roms come already rooted. Also if you install PhilZ recovery it as a option to fix root in settings just select the option reboot then download supersu from play store done.
So it seems like phone which is updated to official Lollipop is bootloader locked and root and stuff not available
whats the scene with kitkat phones.
can we install custom roms. main recovery or rely on safestrap?
can we install all the available roms for i545 or specifics only
Im going to buy one tomorrow either this or i9505, so want to pick better one

If you buy a Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-I545 phone with Lollipop 5.0.1 or later installed or take the OTA update to Lollipop 5.0.1 or later, you will be locked into the OC1 bootloader. Since there still is not a ROOT exploit available for OC1, you will not be able to ROOT, revert to a previous level ROM or load a custom ROM with OC1.
If the phone has KitKat NK4 Bootloader or prior is a workaround to update to Lollipop 5.0.1 and stay on the NK4 Boot Loader
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-to-update-to-i545oc1-5-0-1-keeproot-t3096558
Using this process will allow you to ROOT and install other ROMS.
With KitKat NK4 Bootloader or prior you can use Odin to revert back to the NC5 Bootloader, Root, install Safestrap and flash any Safestrap compatible ROM for the I545.
FYI, I use the Empty Galaxy Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/development/rom-empty-galaxy-v1-5-t2968567 It has no Samsung or Verizon Bloat and has excellent battery life.
I figured out how to unlock my recovery on rooted sch-i545 on of1 5.0.1
---------- Post added at 11:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:27 AM ----------
Run script: system/bin/uncrypt
In root explorer make sure and mount r/w.
Find : system/bin
At the bottom of the bin file find
uncrypt press and choose exicute script.
The phone will auto boot into stock recovery.... Choose to reboot and your recovery will be permanently unlocked.
Feel free to shut off and boot to recovery as many times as you like. Now install custom recovery, roms, xposed framework and so on

Having said that... both OC1 and OF1 have root exploits. Once that is accomplished, you can flash TWZ modified ROMS using Fireflash. See here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-verizon/development/stang5litre-ediition-5-0-t3132555

Hello everyone,
I updated to the latest version 6.0.1. 572
I also unlocked the Bootloader and rooted with King root (Temporary root)
But what I can't boot to the stock recovery, and whenever I try to, it automatically boots to system
And I tried to install twrp, I ended up getting it soft bricked and I had to reinstall lastest firmware
So, is there any way I can install a custom recovery?
Thanks
Do not use standalone recoveries at the moment. Use ROMs that has recovery else you'l end up in bootloop.
For now, rcovery fix is an issue with 6.0.1. So i suggest you simply stick with a ROM like Existenz MM V1 or any other, by downgrading and installing recovery with root AND then flashing 6.0.1(with recovery & root). That way you can have recovery.
I too am waiting for a recovery fix so just managing without recovery for now as non of the fixes are working for me.
Good Luck buddy!

Or...
Use a custom kernel.
You will have recovery and much more.

Well, thanks for the help, downgraded to 5.1.1 (or should I downgrade to something more older?)
But I need help to choose a custom kernel (I know how to flash kernels using fastboot ) can you suggest me a kernel that has a custom recovery
Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
5.1.1 is fine as you can root it. Just install Recovery( nuts dual recovery/ choose your version carefully & Follow instructions). if you'r going to upgrade to 6.0.1, i would suggest this kernel -http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2965480.
Just follow the instructions carefully and you'l be fine.
BTW, if you only want recovery, you can easily install in 5.1.1 after geting it rooted using kingroot.

Done, thanks!
After converting from kingroot to SuperSU (permanent root) and flashing dual recovery, then flashing a prerooted 6.0.1 ROM, now I have everything I need :good: :victory:
