Hi guys. You may have seen I've had some problems latest in another help thread, below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/help/strange-nt-code-error-flashing-genus-rom-t3424931/page1
After reinstalling TWRP, rooting and back on Fluence HD and restored apps from titanium backup.
Now no images are showing in apps like eBay, gumtree, Groupon etc.
I've tried clearing cache and data from each app, reinstalled each app and tried on both wifi and 4g connections.
Thanks in advance guys

Search didn't turn up anything. I used this thread
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...ur-vibrant-and-return-to-stock-phone-pc-error
to recover from a soft brick, now I'm trying to re-root so I can restore my nandroid backup but no apps are installing. Can't install rom manager, titanium, etc. It immediately says download was unsuccesful with no reasoning. Internet is working fine over wifi. Any suggestions?
I also just disabled wifi and tried it from the mobile network, still no go. I don't know what to do now. Please help!
Also I did not restore any apps yet, and I have tried clearing the cache in a list of several apps I found on another thread having the same issue (including market) which did not work.
I think I've found a way around this by downloading the apps I needed (one click root and ROM manager) onto my droid and copying the .apk files over, so I can get around this problem, but can someone explain to me what I did wrong?
Hi guys,
I rooted my Defy with Superoneclick n after installing Titanium backup, i was converting certain stock apps to user apps and suddenly Titanium backup force-closed. Somehow, the stock app which was being converted disappeared. Can someone help me with this? Thanks alot.
The same issue
Would you have found a resolution for this? I faced exactly the same issue.
I tried re-installing the missing apps through the play store. On the next phone reboot, the apps went missing again.
There was one time when all the apps reappeared. Briefly. They are gone again now. It is clear, however, that the apps and data have not been deleted - but simply remain inaccessible.
What I have done for one app is to convert it back to a system app. This has not disappeared since. This tells me that I would have to keep these apps as system apps and on my internal memory or not use it at all.
Was wondering if there is any way in which I can have my cake and eat it too.
Thanks.
Hey guys, I have an issue when Im trying to defrost apps I have frozen with Titanium Backup. I have frozen the voice command and voice search apps and wanted to defrost them. When I click on them a defrost it says they have been successfully defrosted yet they still stay highlighted in blue.
I have tried clearing the TB cache and my phones cache and dalvik cache but the problem still exists. I even tried freezing one of my downloaded apps and then defrosting it and it has the same problem. I have reinstalled TB but that didnt help. Any ideas?
Thanks
Edit- I believe this may be an issue with ICS I am using so nevermind.
Thanks anway

May be a temp solution but I tested it works.
Hi - tried searching for this particular issue but no luck. I sent my i9100 away for repair but prior to that it was rooted. I didn't flash to any fancy firmware though - i just kept the stock one. I backed up my apps using titanium backup.
I have performed a restore of my apps using titanium backup but some apps like boat browser, dropbox, google+ etc force close repeatedly immediately after opening. I had the same firmware as before so I can't see what the problem could be?
Did you restore app data ? If you did, that is probably the reason. Don't do it for those/any apps you're having problems with. If you restored apps only, I'd do a clean install of these apps from Google Play rather than restoring them.

thanks for the reply. I'll do the clean install from google play.
Out of curiousity - why would the data cause these crashes?
I *think* (not absolutely positively certain) it's got something to do with the restore putting the data back into a different place to what the firmware is expecting/the 'symbolic' links to the data being messed up. So basically when you open the app & it goes to use the restored data, the system processes needed go 'nope' & you get a FC.
Not exactly a technical answer, I know But that's my rudimentary understanding of it. There are posts on here which explain it technically in more detail if you're interested enough to do a Google search to find them (I'm not, they are hard to find ).
I always do clean installs when I'm flashing a new rom or a new major version/revision of a rom & rarely have problems.

Hey guys, I have the ViperX+ 2.0.1 rom, but my problem is not really about the rom itself.
A week ago the ota update got released, so I made a backup and installed t, but as I already expected it there was
the same problem I had before: After loading and adjusting all apps it loads my wallpaper, but after that all apps crash,
so I have to turn the phone off by pressing the power button. This is caused by the app LuckyPatcher. In LuckyPatcher
there's a feature which installs a modded playstore, when I installed it for the first time restarted the device but after booting
all apps kept crashing, so I had to restore a backup, then I changed the modded playstore version and it worked fine.
Now back to the ota update problem: I installed the original play store with luckypatcher and removed the app,
then I installed the update and all apps crashed again, so removing luckypatcher doesn't help anymore
(restored the data via backup again). Have you guys any idea how to fix this, cause my latest backup is a few months old..
Or should I just backup my data and do a full wipe? If yes what should I backup in TWRP (only data or boot too,
cause I don't know which of them contains the broken files), or use something like Titanium Backup. I don't mind if I have to set
all the options and tweaks manually again, I just want to keep my files (music, pics, apps, etc.),
so which way would you recommend me? Thanks in advance

You should wipe / factory reset before you install any ROM. These apps you're loading, how are you loading it ? Through backup or play store ? Is it system apps or downloaded apps ?

By loading apps I mean the usual process after booting the phone, it says ''Android wird aktualisiert'' (Android gets updated).
*edit: I guess fixing the problem would be much more complicated than performing a full wipe, so which way to backup my data (as written in the main post) would you recommend me?

Do a factory reset from TWRP. You will lose your text messages and apps ect. If you don't want to go through the process of re-downloading your apps, you can use titanium backup and backup apps but not app data (not recommended). Flashing roms without doing a wipe/factory reset = hot mess. Unless otherwise said no wipe needed.
Edit just keep check of the Rom discussion to see if anyone has the same problem. Try wiping then install 2.01 make a complete boot then install ota
