My phone moto e2 otus is having a sim card error even if I installed the sim card
And the playstore is showing server error
And com.android.phone has stopped

I keep getting an error message saying "unrecognized card in Socket 1" and asks me to enter the location to card driver, this happens with ever restart "soft reset", where is this "socket 1 " and how i can stop this message??!!! help!
Maybe your problem is not with your equipment but with your sd-card, i said that because i´ve already to change in garantie one of the sd-card and it gives the same message to me.

I have the same problem with my xda. Flash rom with sd card - everything OK, but it's show this message when I turned on my xda. :evil: :evil: .
"The message show without any card installed" because the SD card have a pin in the side of "lock swich" on SD card. This pin is conected when No card in socket and disconected when you inserted a card.
How to fix this problem:
1. Open the back cover of the xda.
2. Open the cover of the sd slot.
3. Check the contact of the pin beside the lock swich, it maybe in bad contact.
I'll post the picture about it later.
But the message "Unknown card in socket 1" still appear when a card inserted. :evil: :evil: :evil:

I was using a mini sd card in its adapter for my 1010
and when im inserting the adapter with no minisd inside, there shown the error..
and usually i ignores the error and nothing happens..
it seems the error is kinda harmless
Is there any way to prevent Xperia U to restart after sim card has been removed/inserted because this is very annoying although it has a hot-swappable sim-slot. I have seen that the restart is not required as the new sim is detected automatically when inserted & pin code is asked if required. But then the phone restarts.
AFAIK, no such thing as hot-swappable SIM card for Android phones. Some drivers need to be reloaded, gapps won't work if it doesn't restart, etc. Even dumb phones need to restart. The only time I hear this working is if the phone is dual-SIM, where you only swap out SIM2.
M running orion OS on my condor..with sd card adopted as internal storage,but it does not get connected to my laptop via USB,unless i manually uninstall previous drivers from - Device Manager, which annoys as i have to do it everytime to get my device connected. Without sd card as internal..my device used to get connected asap.
PS:I have all moto USB drivers installed and everything is up to date.
Please help me to fix this!

Hi there,
I have a lenovo p780 that came with vibe ui 2.0. It was pretty hard to root so I looked for prerooted roms with recovery.
I flashed MIUI v4.4.2_P780_CN_5.11.13_for_FT. From this post:

Now I have a couple of problems...
Phone storage is 98mb and, in the default rom explorer there is nothing to show, not phone storage or sd card. Trough PC I can navigate trough both but as I said, phone storage is 98MB.
I think i messed something trying to solve a couple of errors from twrp while flashing:
Unable to mount/emmc
Unable to mount/data
Unable to mount storage
....
I fixed this changing system image from vfat to ext 4 on some of them. Now there's no error message but I'm facing this problem.
Also, camera doesnt work properly, I checked some thread about the fix but I didnt find any working link.
EDIT: Now camera says "Insert sd card first", when it used to say "Cant get connected to camera" this is wierd. In other ocassions it says "Unable to intiate camera". I think all MIUI roms have a problem with camera, when I had vibe 2.0 ui (2 days ago) it was working so I dont think it is a hardware error.
EDIT 2: Also, I lost my IMEI in the process (yes, my bad) and now I cannot repair this issue because "CDS Information" is blocked in MobileUncleTools.
