Please help. Need stock recovery from zve. - Sprint LG G3

Somebody make a backup of stock recovery from zve rom. And upload for downloading.

I'm on a custom rom rn and this phone is a pain to root on the later firmwares, but if no one replies within a couple days I'll go ahead and flash to stock and upload the recovery img.

Oh my friend. I would be very grateful to you for the help. Thank you that has responded. I would get recovery from tot rom. But ZVE tot hasn't found.

No, you need to flash the ZV4 TOT and then do the ZVE OTA update to get ZVE. Been a while since I messed with flashing LG phones.

I know it. But I can't act this way. I will lose CDMA settings. It will be necessary to connect phone to network at the operator again. They take money for it always.

Ahhh that sucks. I'll bite the bullet and wipe for you probably Wednesday(12 September) if I have time. I remember being in the same situation many times, needing a specific kernel or recovery and not being able to flash the entire rom and extract it

I constantly see people advising the tools to flash firmware on the optimus V.
None of those people have an optimus V, or they'd probably know that LG never released flashable firmware for the optimus V.
I wish that LG weren't such F***S and had released working firmware for the optimus V!
They did not, at Virgin Mobile's request, I assume, because the VM510 firmware is broken just like the VM670 firmware; however the LN510 firmware is valid, and the LS670 firmware works too. (LN510=sprint rumor touch, VM510=virgin mobile rumor touch; LS670=sprint optimus, VM670=virgin mobile optimus)
you cannot install the stock LG virgin firmware, the .cab files are missing a .dll inside that decodes the contents of the .cab to the files needed by the flashing software.
If you install the Sprint optimus firmware on the Virgin optimus, it will flash because the phone board model number is the same, but the network data and MMS will be broken. Permanently. There is no way to revert to Virgin firmware without sending the phone to LG.
If you can't get the phone to respond to ADB, you're toast at this point and have to send the phone for service or replace it or give up your data service and flash sprint firmware.
You may be able to get adb to respond briefly during the 'formatting' loop in recovery. If so, it is probably fixable, post again to let me know and I'll try to walk you through what you have to do in that case.
I borked my first OV with a bad AOSP build without working ADB, it installed the built recovery which wouldn't respond to any keypresses or ADB. I flashed the sprint firmware rather than toss out all hope for the phone, and fought with it for a month trying to get data working again. If you find another way to fix it, please post it up for others! Won't help me, my first OV was flashed to death trying to hack a working version of the sprint firmware dll to unpack the virgin firmware.

[Q] rooted but can't load rom

I am super frustrated right now, because of the fact I rooted my phone a year after I got it and there aren't enough devs supporting this phone anymore.. :crying:
Anywhoo, I have Unlocked my BootLoader and I have set up my custom recovery with TWRP 2.5.0.0 since the latest doesn't work for my phone. I have Access with SuperSU going through the pain of updating the binary. Now, my latest problem and only problem that hinders me from using the Roms I desire is, I'm stuck at BootLoop. My phone shows the HTC logo and then reboots.
I super wiped, I did wipe before and after, I tried all methods of wiping, unless wiping isn't the same anymore from the OG EVO days.
The ROMS, I would like to install is Paranoid Android, BeanStalk, CM Nightlies 10.2, & SuperNEXUS.
I have Tested only BeanStalk and SuperNexus and they both do the same exact thing which brings me to bootloop. The great thing about it is, which is kind of strange but i'm very thankful is that, I can still Restore my phone with my back up! =D
So far I have used TWRP, I don't really feel comfy with using Clockwork. Due to previous experiences, It just doesn't give a clean wipe IMO.
YES, I have S-ON.
Do i really need S-OFF to run these Roms? My phone is updated with 3.17, and everything from the last update a week ago, I believe.
I just did everything within the last 24 hrs.
PLEASE HELP ME! =(
Since you are S-ON you need to fastboot flash the boot.img/kernel then the rom

It's always a good idea to have at least one backup on your sdcard.
No you won't need to flash the boot.img if you restore your backup.
You will only need to flash the boot.img everytime you flash a new rom for the first time

[q] 5.0 gpe problems please help immedialy!!!!!

So I saw this lollipop rom(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2716306) and I was waiting for the official one from htc but this had what I wanted. It said I need to have the 4.4.4 firmware but I didnt know how to get it because I couldnt get the ota update on stock for a certain reason and so it flashed the 4.4.4 gpe rom then after that I flashed the 5.0 rom but now I have no wifi and when I reboot its in the bootloop and I dont know what to do now. I would appreciate it if anyone could try and help me. Thank you.
If you just flash a GPe rom it dosent mean you flashed the firmware. I was actually having this same problem so I just flashed the US Dev Sense 4.4.4 firmware and the Lollipop rom worked fine.

Scroll all the way down and look for the 3.28.1540.5 firmware and flash that.

I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to go back to factory recovery!

Can someone please direct me to the thread where you flash back factory recovery?
I'm currently on the lollipop rom and haven't touched it since I rooted it.
Thank you!
I am a little confused as to what you mean when you say "flash back to factory recovery"? Can you explain a little more. Are you referring to the "Factory data reset" option? Thank you.
If you want factory fresh marshmallow just grab the stock kdz and flash it with lgup both have been shared in the forums.

You can get the original stock recovery from here, then fastboot flash it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63604156&postcount=1.
Or just flash the stock MM KDZ in LG Up. KDZ is linked in this thread, which also tells you how to root MM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/general/root-android-6-0-h901-t3382819

Question Lost IMEI after root

Hello all, I was asking if you can help me with an issue here.
While trying to root my Nord 2, I flashed the wrong boot.img version (A.10, while I was already update at the A.11), losing my WiFi and Bluetooth. So to recover them, I flashed the Full A.07 firmware and went back up to A.11 flashing the various OTAs. After flashing the A.07 firmware though, I've lost IMEI and Cellular functionality, and was never able to recover them.
I've done a backup of my nvram, nvdata, and nvcfg partitions before flashing, but restoring them didn't solve the issue.
I've use this guide for root: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/root-tool-oneplus-nord-2-oxygen-11-3-dn2103_11_a-xx-eea.4332959/
And this guide to flash A.07 and OTAs: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-nord-2-oxygen-11-3-dn2103-eea-rom.4331695/
Does someone have any hints? Or should I send it back to Oneplus?

Those images are the first I've tried. I've then tried with the stock boot image linked in @pankspoo post, but with still no result. My guess is that flashing V.07 on top of V.11 rewrited some others partitions that should have not be touched
Well i am not happy to tell you, but if its true that partitions containing IMEI and WiFi connections got overwritten with nonsense information then the only thing that could save your phone is full nandroid backup which you do not have. And unfortunetly dont expect anyone else to provide it as that would mean that those 2 phones would have the same IMEI and MAC address.
I would suggest that you flash stock image, lock your bootloader and send it for RMA saying that you dont know what happened. You will have like 50/50 chance that they will just replace your motherboard without much of an investigation.

So probably try flashing original firmware using some kind of recovery utility such as Sp flash to help get rid of this message?
