After installing CM13 update, my phone stucked in bootloop. So i decided to back to old version. Then problem starts. Phone is rotating wrong in landscape mode. Need to use rotation controller to solve this. But its annoying. I was trying to calibrate using compass, using OS3 with *#808# selfcalibrate, nothing helps. Rebooting doesnt help aswell. Any ideas whats happened

Do you have the same issue when you flash another rom? In my opinion something weird happened during flash, so maybe Clean Flash will help?
Yes, same issue on CM13 nightly, CM14, OS3.
Did you tried the Maps resetting?

Tried both. Nothing happened.
And an app like that :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=asd.vector.sensor
Tried on OS3 with dialer code *#808#.
RIGHT-HORIZONTAL-VERTICAL POSITION(ideal angle should be 90 degree) and LEFT-HORIZONTAL-VERTICAL POSITION(ideal angle should be 270 degree)

are Right 270 and Left 90
Problem solved. Downloaded stock rom and stock recovery. Flash. Unroot. Then I did all auto update to 3.1.3. And all work perfect.

Hi,
Somedays back My phone just got stuck at the boot animation... So I restored it to its factory rom: upai_n9880I stock rom: 20120804_e1811_v75_jbaol1_g88. But when I went using the camera, the camera was inverted and if I turn in to lanscape, it would rotate but get inverted like in portrait mode. Now the games were also working flipped... The guy in Temple run now turns right if I tilt to the left and so forth.
So I tried flashing the phone with Taiwan upai N9880_ICS_V.01... but the issue remains. I tried reformat the flash and re-installed Taiwan Rom... the issue remians.
Can someone let me know how to fix it. I am new to all this and want to get it fixed if possible
Thanks,
Bharat

Hi everyone,
Since last night I'm having an unusual problem with the accelerometer/motion sensors. I tried with the "bubble level test" and It's like if the values were offset, plus there's some lag retrieving values (bubble gets occasionally stuck).
This problem started after I tried a few JB roms (shostock3, superNexus, and then came back to a nandroid backup, Shostock gingerbread).
Tried wiping data/factory reset, cache, dalvik, flashing other roms, battery pull... still the problem persists.
Calibration tool says "passed" yet keeps giving wrong values and lag.
This affects the screen orientation leaving it stuck on landscape modes.
Any other ideas before starting to assume it's a hardware problem?
Thanks in advance =)

Yes, I already tried that... It makes a short countdown and says "calibrated", but doesn't fix it. Thank you anyway
It happened to me when trying AOKP (I think after a Titanium restore, not sure if it had anything to do with the problem), but restored stock ICS and the problem dissapeared.
You may want to try with a different ROM, if it is still not working I would say it is a hardware problem.

Well, I restored to gingerbread and the problem is still there. Seems like a hardware problem indeed, but it's just weird how it was working well until last night.

this looks klike a sensor prob, but to be sure:
flash the stock ICS.ftf using flashtool with all wipes (dont touch the setting, let flash kernel also)
THAN, boot up that ICS.
problem still exist = your sensor broken in some way, go to tech support.
problem solved = it was a bug of your old rom (can be nearly everwhere, or u just messed it up by doing sth, lol)
Hello everyone,
at first - best ROM I ever tried!
Just one big problem for me:
When the screen is off (sleep mode), I CAN NOT unlock the phone with fingerprint - during first 5 seconds - when display is off, it works. I have to turn on display with power button and AFTER that I CAN unlock with fingerprint with no problems. I want to unlock my phone with fingerprint when the display is off even more than 5 seconds.
Is there a solution?
In stock ROM (16s International) everything works perfect, there were no time limitation. Fingerprint worked everytime even when screen was off for 10 minutes for example.
Where is the problem? It is no hardware problem for sure.
Someone said to use the same finger 3 times instead of 3 different fingers. Try it. It may solve your problem.
I am using the same ROM without the problem which you experienced although sometimes it took more than a second or required a couple of taps on the sensor to unlock the screen.
Go to settings, battery, power saving managements and see if the Ultra Long Standby During Sleep is turned ON. I have that disabled.
Edit. Sorry, I thought that you had the manufacturers' ROM. I had the factory ROM.
I have the same 3 fingerprints for better recognition for sure, but this tip did not help me.
Also I tried to turn off the Long sleep too, did not help to solve this.
Any other ideas @madsurfer1? With screen ON works flawlessly.
Hi guys
I'm experiencing exactly the same issue with my fresh received x829. Haven't tried much on stock ROM but apparently everything was working. Then I flashed AOKP and lignage os v13, and with both the fingerprint only works in the 5 seconds after screen off. And when I mean works, I mean detect a finger, if it's the good one unlocks and if not shows an error. After 5 seconds, the phone shows nothing at all, no unlock and no error.
Have you had any success since these posts ?
Regards
AOKP on my x829 has fingerprint "working" from sleep. It sometimes takes a while or multiple attempts though.
Thanks bwalter
@Razor99 any news on your side ? Looks like only you have the exact same issue I encounter.

hi
i have the same problem with most of the roms,
is there any solution?
My solution was full wipe, including internal storage. After than clean install ROM. With these steps fingerprint begin works even in deep sleep mode.
Keep in mind that Max 2 has very bad fingerprint at all on every model compared to premium brands. It is slow and sometimes react after few attemps. But works.
If theese steps wont help you - proove claim to the seller of your mobile.
If fingerprint is your priority, I strongly recommend another model, except Le Max 2. Maybe Le Pro is now better with fingerprint.
Try it and let us know.

Indeed hackerpower, I saw your post on the other topic https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/le-max-2-finger-print-t3408395/page16#post71613937 and for me, that did the trick, without flashing another rom or wiping anything.
Thanks a lot!

Download under China folder (23S v0033 I think), link for download in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71613937&postcount=151
Flash the modem zip file by Twrp recovery.

Flashed the 023S modem and BAM! it works!!! Thanks a lot!
For me, I found flashing the dev 66 modem fixed this wake problem.
My phone is OnePlus 7T Pro HD1913 EU version. I have recently had a problem with auto-rotating the screen. I tested on the system versions 10.0.7, 10.0.13, 10.0.14, 11.0.5.1, 11.0.6.1, 11.0.7.1 and I have the auto turning upside down every time. I was flashing in different ways (OTA, fastboot, MSM) nothing helps. Full wipe downgrade versions don't help either. The same is true after installing a custom rom. Only when I install closed beta Hydrogen OS 12, auto-rotation works properly. Can someone advise me something?
same issue, I'm on latest Android 11 build after I downgraded from color os 12.1
I also think that it happened after testing the Chinese 12 system. The strangest thing is that when I reinstalled this closed beta 12, it has no problem with proper screen rotation. I tried to calibrate the sensors in the service menu, unfortunately it did not help.
I am facing the same issue. It doesn't bother me when I am portrait mode. When I go to landscape mode, it just reverse my screen up. I try to find solutions but no one I found nothing. If anyone found something please help me with that.
I am also facing the same issue.
Youtuber Techibee has found a way to fix it. He will be uploading his video soon.

Thank you very much. Before this fix was released, I previously flash persist.img from another phone (I didn't make a copy of the my original persist.img). All sensors are working properly, but the fingerprint is not working. I will probably not fix it anymore without sending it to the service.

Yeah flashing someone’s else persist breaks your fingerprint functionality and your widevine certificate.
i think you should send it to service centre.
