Hi, just got a new G5 H850 European version, and saw it has a 604K... serial number (on the side of the white box).
After seeing this video I am curious about the differences between the
new and old serial number G5's, wondering if I should return it.
Mine was bought 9 November 2016 (officially imported by LG in Romania) and it came with a 604K serial, meaning April 2016,
why could it be so old, didn't they renew the stock for 7 months ?
Also, the HW revision from Settings->About Hardware is Rev 1.0, and on the green box it says "MAY66193505(1.0)WR".
What are your serial numbers and purchase dates ?
Does anyone have a HW revision bigger that 1.0 ?
Thanks.

Quick curious question.
I just got my Titan yesterday (and it's freakin' awesome) but one little weird thing I noticed was the model number. For the last week or so, I've been researching it online, and I see "Titan X310e" as the model number. When I looked at the about on my new Titan, it said it's a "Titan HTC PI39100"
Is there any difference between the two model numbers? Or is the X310e the UK version or something silly like that?
X310e is the EU Version i believe, because mine comes from UK also.
Your is the AT&T version i believe, it has nothing but an AT&T logo and a differnt chip and radio version.
Hi,
Is there any way to check the manufacture date or month by using a serial number?
Thanks!
Hey guys
I bought two honor 8x one red and one blue from different places (different stores)
I bought the red one on apr-17th as soon as i turned it on And finished setting it up
It said that i have Android pie update waiting for me so i did and it's great but...
About 10 days later i bought the blue one as i said from different place about apr-27th it still on Android 8.1 . When i check for updates it says that I'm up to date
I tried to see the differences between them
That what i found
Both of them JSN-L22
Both kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Differences are
Red : imei sv 56
Blue: imei sv 05
......
Build number
Red : 9.0.1.156
Blue: 8.2.0.105
.......
And the final difference and the one that really freaked me out not knowing what does it mean is:
When i go to about phone
In the red one the last option is authentication info
But in blue it has an extra option after that, that option i:
Custom version CUSTC185D1
........
any help ??
And sorry for taking so long explaining my situation

We are in the same boat my friend. My blue 8x from Saudi Arabia, it's still running Emui 8. No updates for me for long time. I have a friend who has the same device, he got p9 3 months ago. **** Honer for not giving me anything.
Same here. Buying this phone was the worst decision ever. Especially since there are no bootloader unlock codes either.
Android Version should change.
I think honor should change its updates & features for the future generations, because we need latest technology & spec for our devices. That what honor can change.
Here is some tips for Honor users.
Update version.
Use developer mode.
Avoid fast charging.
Free Followers Bot.
Charge fully.
Avoid 3rd part app.
Secure your data.
Turn on GPS. Open iCare APP and see. It will work if your country has already received update.
Hello guys,
I am thinking about buying Mate 20 pro as my new smartphone. I really love it overall, but I am also scared of #gluegate.
As I see in Internet threads and groups that were talking about it recently get silence, and the phone is still selling great.
So my question is - should I worry about screen in this device or buying it 8 months after release date is now completly safe, becouse new parts of M20pro are modified/improved?
Not heard of any recent issues. Was just the first batch.
I have the first batch, no issues with the display so far
How can I find my device's batch? And which batches had problems?
I think that this was a problem of only first batches, but I am not sure.
Production date is in serial number
6 and 7th sign of serial number is year of production
8th sign is month:
number 1 to 9 are months from January to september
A, B or C means october, november and december
So for example 18C means december 2018
191 means January 2019

If you download hw device info to the phone you can see if its a boe or a lg panel. I have had zero issues with 3 different boe panels. Every lg had the issue.
Mine is 18C and no issues at all with anything.

To those who had purchased the LG V60 since the official launch on 20 March for U.S carriers, can I trouble you to check what is your hardware version?
You can find the hardware version under Settings > System > About Phone > Hardware info
