I use greenify for aprox. more than a month. I have a Moto G (2014) with lollipop (official). Greenify worked like a charm until today when my phones battery without use drained in 5 hours. I open tje battery stats and 40% went to greenify for some reason. I recharged the phone and it continues to drain. Also i mentioned that it used a big amount of mobile data (80mb). Phone is not rooted and use auto hidernation.
Thanks in advance
do you install the xposed framework ?

As the other poster asked, have you installed Xposed or not? If so, which version, Kitkat or Lollipop?
Reg high battery usage, if you have greenified something which ought not to be greenified, the app will continuously try to run and Greenify will continuously try to hibernate it. Check.
Reg data usage, the Dev has stated in another thread that Google Analytics eats the data which Google has not solved yet. He has advised opting out of Google Analytics from the 'about' section of Greenify.
I haven't installed xposed (its not even rooted). Since i first installed greenify never greenified any extra app so i dont get it as nothing changed. And about data yes i saw the post and disabled the feature.
Ok so after the Lollipop update my battery life has been less than stellar. On kit kat i would usually have around 40% battery life left at the end of a day with medium use but now with lollipop I'm ending the day closer to 15% with the same use. This is usually with between 2 and 3 hours SOT. The only thing I've noticed that is any different is google services seems to be using more battery than normal, not a ton but more. Also i cant seem to get it to go into low battery use in location setting, it always stays on high battery use even when in battery savings mode. Anyone with thoughts on this?
Have you tried using greenify? It stops apps from refreshing in the background and if you buy the pro version you can stop system apps from refreshing. You may want to try this xposed module it will go and save major battery. I personally am on barepop (I uninstalled some extra apps though) and have both apps running in the background and I it takes about 10 minuates for the battery to die by even 1%. By the time I wake up and use my phone with heavy use all day long (6am-4pm est) I get home without about 60-65% of battery. You may also want to turn things off when your not using them such as data/nfc and bluetooth.

I am not rooted and am trying to stay that way, at least for a while. I do have greenify but only the free version so it is kind of limited. I haven't found any wakelock detectors that work without root so i cant get any real specifics on whats causing the drain. I just find it strange that google services will not go into low battery mode.
Try this guide it should allow you to stop apps from running in the background:http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/2trjxf/xpost_rlgg3_the_g3_has_a_hidden_nonroot

thanks, ill look into it
OK Best of luck.
Nothing in there for anything related to Google services. I don't know why it wont go into low battery usage, i checked all my Google settings and still cant figure it out.
Ok, well today i decided to just uninstall updates for google services, reboot, install the updates, and reboot again. And after dealing with the phone telling me there was no sim card twice, everything seemed to go back to normal, no more high battery usage from google services.
I have an 32GB, MDK, SCH-I545, RUNNING Echoe ROM v29 & TWRP.
The last few days Android System & OS are the top two on the battery use percentage scales. It even got fairly hot, yesterday.
I've tried deleting recently installed apps and Xposed modules, clearing Dalvic and cache.
I'm tinkering with Greenify, Wakelock Detector and App Ops Starter, in an attempt to get things under control. I've turned off wake for Google Play Services.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Screen shot of battery attached. Phone was simply sitting in my pocket.
Hi,
i have recently upgraded to factory marshmallow image. Performance was awesome on the first minutes (no apps installed). But then, after all apps from the playstore were installed, performance got considerably worse.
As I was used to do on previous android versions, I enabled cpu usage overlay on developer options, only to realize it now only shows android ui process on the list.
As I noticed that other cpu monitoring tools were only displaying themselves, I'm guessing it's something related to the new permission system.
So here's the question. Is there any way to grant an app, or even the system ui, access to other apps cpu usage info???
Is there any other way to track which app is draining the performance, without having to uninstall one by one (I have around 150 apps installed)?
Model: volantisg (lte), black, 32gb.
Thank you.
Real head scratcher this one!!
RN3 pro SD650 practically had it since day one of its release
Was using CM 13/14 and radon kernel all along
Always used to boast to all of my friends as i would regularly get 8-10 hours screen on time
Currently on the 03/29 build of LOS (TheStrix), radon 4.3, greenify
Getting 2-3 hours screen on time, i am a light user i dont use any social media apps
I have noticed this since jumping on the Nougat upgrade
Apps installed: Adaway, magisk, chrome, greenify, ES file pro, google maps, sdmaid pro, Mihome (camera at home)
Phone idle and LineageOS System are consuming 30% of the battery between themselves
I use my phone as i have always used it, have not changed anything apart from using magisk whereas previously i used the built in root with CM
I am not a new user who needs simple advice, I hopefully can figure out what is happening in the background
I dont really want to install a wakelock detector etc
I have even tried to reset app preference in the hope that will help
Whereas usually i would have a straight line on my battery graph with the slight dip now it is a constant dip
Anyone else experiencing anything similar?
Install wakelock detector see if anything stands out. Are the CPU's going into deep sleep? That sort of drain says otherwise.
