[Q] File transfer issue

I am having issues transferring files off of my Tab. It works when it is a single item yet when I do multiple items it fails to even show the MTP modes screen on the device. I am running totally stock and any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I have tried multiple usb ports.

ADB R15 allways crashes

has anyone else noticed that the newer version of ADB.exe seem to be constently craching and when they do the internet also disconnects, or is this just my computer doing this?
EDIT: i was wrong, it cause all my frivers to crash and usb ports to stop working.

[Q] Sys Folder Question

curious- should I have a /sys/bus/usb folder?
edit: ok. somewhat obviously, this is due to a USB connection error. so I updated Kies and the USB and other drivers installed successfully. the MTP driver, however, keeps failing to install. any ideas on potential causes to this problem? thanks

[Q] The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected.

Hi!
I cannot transfer files to my 7" HDX from Windows 7. It seems that I can only transfer file in small size -- previously, file with gigabytes were fine.
Thank you for your kind assistance.
I encountered the exact same problem just a few days ago. I'd to completely remove the drivers from Device Manager, reconnect the KFHDX, and let the PC auto-install the drivers again. This fixed the problem for me.
Reinstall failed

Hi there!
Thank you for your reply.
I followed your guide yet didn't work.
Wondering anyone else has a different approach to follow?
Best,

Problem with Windows 8.1 USB connectivity

I've seen this issue mentioned here before but I've never been able to find a definitive solution.
My Kindle HDX 7'' connects without issue to my laptop running Windows 7 and allows me to browse the files located on the internal storage.
On my Windows 8.1 laptop I get basically nothing. My computer recognizes it as a device but doesn't allow me to browse the internal storage. The kindle gives me a message saying I may need third party software to view the files. Both pc's have the kindle adb drivers installed and turning USB debugging on/off doesn't help either. I also try un-installing/re-installing drivers in device manager which also doesn't seem to help.
Does anyone have any insight or experience this same issue?
Thanks!
Although you've probably done this already a reboot cured my HDX connectivity issues on Win 8.1 when a similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago.
