Hi all,
I have a problem with the Samsung apps/services not working after flashing my S3 with FoxHound ROMS (I am currently on 1.4.4 final but have been using their ROMS since v1.3).
If I look in settings under accounts and sync, my Samsung account has a red circle next to it and at the bottom of the screen it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly". This has been the case for about three weeks (since I started noticing things like my contacts not showing properly in the stock contacts app).
I cannot use S Voice either. Either on Wi-Fi or mobile data. All other internet applications work fine but I constantly get Network errors in S Voice.
Is this a symptom of using a modded ROM and Samsung are blocking my phone or is there an application I should have installed when I was installing FoxHound ROM (has Aroma (??) installer script with lots of extra apps and I didn't install them all).
Thanks all
You should report the issues in Foxhound forum. They will have better idea of what's happening to your phone.

Thought that but clicking any forum links on the http://www.italiancustomstyle.com site goes to http://www.italiancustomstyle.com/Home/?page_id=1046 and just shows a page with "Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn't here." message...
Anyone have a working link? Gonna trawl through the XDA section for FoxHound.
Thanks
So I got my nexus 5 this week and rooted and installed xposed framework. I have a handful of modules running and have noticed bugs. I'm not sure if it's because of using xposed or if it is just stock android bugs..
1) randomly there will be a new blank home screen created
2) Sometimes volume button doesn't work
3) cannot copy links from YouTube /autoTRADER and share on bbm/hangouts Sometimes. The screen just goes black.
Has anyone has similar issues? The modules I have are:
Gravitybox, advanced power menu, bootmanager, hide apps xposed, rootcloak, wireless charging xposed

Stating the obvious but you have rebooted the device right. Also there is a possibility that there is a conflict between two modules. If nothing helps try disabling one module at a time. Hope you resolve your issue.

I have tried rebooting and going through the apps and disabling them. No luck though. Has anyone else experienced any similar issues?

Hello all.
I would like to know if those who have rooted have come across any issues with their G3 that were not present prior to rooting.
Thanks!
Nope, went smooth as butter. I installed Xposed and every module went without a hitch. Super SU works fine.... Go for it.
Only downside is that the bootlocker is still locked along with no access to custom ROMs, but every app should be GTG after root. Root also takes about........ 4 seconds lol
No problems here either. My battery life took a small hit, but not sure if it's because of root or an app I installed after the fact. Running xposed with g3 tweaksbox also without issues. Just recently installed greenify, haven't really noticed any major battery life improvements though.

Be careful about modifying build prop. I softbricked after changing one line in build prop, most editors truncate build prop. When phone reboots, stuck on blue screen with red number 2. Haven't tried Xposed yet.

I'm running some tweaks with the G3 tweakbox and for some reason if I'm watching Netflix and try to swipe down the notification bar, I get an "Android ui has stopped" error. Then the phone goes to the lock screen.
Hi,
i just installed greenify 2.6.2 beta 2 on my nexus 5 with android 5.0.1, working xposed (i use gravitybox without any problem), but it seems that greenify cant detect that i activated the module inside xposed.
Whenever i try to activate any funciont that needs xposed module it asks me to activate greenify module and reboot.
I tried rebooting but nothing changed
I have the same problem on my Nexus 5 as wel as on my Asus TF700.
I'm getting this also, on 4.0.4.
same on android 5.0.2 oneplus one cm12s
Can confirm the same.
Same here :/
Same. So frustrating. This update was supposed to fix the problem with deep hibernation interfering with certain apps (Drive, in particular), but now deep hibernation and all other Xposed features don't work for me at all. G3, 4.4.2
Same thing here with my device as well. I just updated to the Greenify v2.6.2 beta 2 on my rooted/xposed Verizon Galaxy Note 3 4.4.2 and I'm also getting the exact same error after trying to activate any of the Experimental Features that require Xposed. This appears to be a HUGE bug in this particular BETA version that spans several, if not all, versions of Android. This dev is good and he seems to be very responsive to his user-base, so I'd say we'll see an update with a fix very, very soon...hopefully today/tonight..
Same problem on kitkat nexus 4. I'm sure we'll have a fix soon. Going back to previous version until then.
same issue on oneplus one running 5.0.2 CM12 nightlies.
Have the same issue on LG G2 4.4.2, step back to beta 1
Same here... S4 4.4.2
the same problem moto G 2014, only greenify problem the other xposed are working normally
Same issue! Greenify not working with xposed at all. Could anyone please attach beta1 apk?

Same here on ArchiDroid 3.0.x!
So it seems to be a general issue with the latest beta. After downgrading to previous version, everything's working again.
Very sorry for the broken xposed module in lollipop, beta 3 is rolling out to fix that.
+1 M8 sense based on 5.0.1

I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this yesterday after updating to beta 2, but incoming text messages stopped coming through because of beta 2.
I just updated to beta 3 and still am experiencing this same issue with receiving text messages, however the Xposed Framework issue has been fixed. So that's good at least.
I went ahead and downgraded back to beta 1 and I am back to receiving text messages just fine, as I always have with it and prior. I've been using Greenify since forever now so it's not something I Greenified plus I haven't Greenified anything in months either. I went through my list again just to check and I don't see anything abnormal that would be related.
It's just for receiving text messages, those whom I tested with did receive my text messages I sent just fine.
Any insight oasisfeng?
Tnx beta 3 is working fine.

Do you have Deep Hibernation activated? And have you greenified the messaging app?
My dad own's this phone and he needs call recording.
After I flashed RR a month ago and installed Automatic Call Recorder, he can't hear the person who he talked too while he listens to the recording(sometimes the person is slightly audible).
I've tried all the well rated call recorders on the play store and those of which on xda but still no luck.
Any idea how to solve this?
ROM: Resurrection Remix 5.5.9 r26
Kernel: Stock RR
No mods or tweaks. Greenify in root mode.
Have you tried using Xpoed Installer with the gravity box module? This module basically has many functions.

See I use Gravity box on my phone(Moto G2) and there is no feature like that.
And I wouldn't flash xposed for my dad's phone because I want to keep it pure and plus Xposed runs every time you start the module (obviously it's a custom rom).
I want some way of fixing the issue mentioned.
