Hi, I have a friends phone, which they tried to update, but they have messed it up. I have tried a few different things, but I cannot get it to flash the software; it Fails after the hidden.img file. I have got to the same point as @misterpot in This thread and thought I'd hit a brick wall, but then he seems to have got it fixed with some help via skype from @asadnow2k
If anyone can help it will be appreciated.

Ok guys I'm super new to this and have been searching all day. I got a Nexus S with Videotron here in Canada. It is the I9020T I made the mistake of trying to root it which brought me to the google logo loop.
I then panicked and followed the unrooting process to fix the phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088494
When I ran Odin with the package supplied the Radio failed.
The phone will now boot up, however, the signal bar is grey'd out with an x which I'm assuming is because I have no radio.
I should also mention my phone is 3g and the odin package is 4g which I'm assuming is one of the reasons it did not work.
I would just like to know what to do to bring the whole thing back to stock. I have tried the bootloader recovery but it just gives me the android guy with a triangle and an exclamation point inside.
I have also tried factory reset and another odin package which just hangs.
Could someone please tell me exactly what to do as this is a work phone, and I'm in a lot of trouble if I can't fix it.
I beg you please help before work tomorrow!!
Thanks guys,
Chris
Hello guys,
I know there are a lot of advices how to unbrick phone from this crashing but I still need ur help guys. I have tried a lot of thing, I even left my phone whole night during flash but still nothing. This message shows up all the time. I have tried to flash my Samsung Galaxy SIII I9300 16GB. I tried a lot of thing for instance:
I did everything by tutorial but nothing have changed. I have downloaded original software, and I added .pit file I checked everthing and it was correctly attached. What do I have to do? Please help me... It already pissed me.. 3 days without my phone..
I tried to root my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 (SM-P600) and it failed in the middle of flashing. Now I cannot connect the device to Kies, nor can I even boot into recovery. I just get the Firmware upgrade encountered an issue screen. I can only get into download mode. Even so, I can't seem to flash anything. It keeps failing. I just want to get this thing working again. Help, please?
EDIT: Odin finally decided to work, my device works again. *sigh of relief* Can someone please delete this thread?
I just bought a galaxy mega [L600] and it was soft bricked [ Firmware upgrade was interrupted] Well i've flashed around and managed to get it back to semi functional and activsted.
However I have no service at all.
I've seen that Kies should be able to completely fix this for me, but Kies asks for a "serial" that I cannot give. I've tried every dec nd hex i can possibly try and nothing.
I've tried flashing modems..
At this point Im lost.
Can someone please help?

So... I followed this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s4/how-to/guide-rooting-wifi-version-galaxy-tab-t3841763) and it bricked my Tab S4 version T830XXU3BSF3 (Wifi). I get to the Samsung screen with a custom powered by logo and Set Warranty Bit : Kernal at the top but it wont load any further. I downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile and attempted to flash from Odin. Odin reports all threads completed, but still unable to get past the Samsung screen. Also attempted cache clear and factory reset, nothing worked, can anyone give me some info on how I might be able to resolve this? Or do I just have a fancy paper weight now? Thanks.
(I'm fairly new to this whole process so if I have dump follow up questions, I apologize in advance)
I was able to figure out how to fix it, thanks to anyone that viewed this thread with intents to help.
