Cm (sm g313m) - Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

Hello friends
I am new here in XDA, my question is about CM, I am installing CM on my SM G313M, I have already downloaded several websites (even on links here from XDA) but it always gives error when I flash through CWM Recovery.
If they can help me I will be very grateful, I am starting now in android development.
(The latest one I tried to install gave status 0 of Cyagenomod)

[Q] Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition Query

Hi,
I bought the Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition phone in March 2012 which now comes with a updated Froyo 2.2 Stock ROM (This previously had the 2.1 Eclair as Stock ROM).
I have gone through a lot of posts and have done a lot of search & study w.r.t to this & other phone Models & in general related to Android OS, Rooting, Flashing, etc.
After much Research I came across "Z4Root" Rooting application & took the risk of trying it out. The "Temporary Root" option did not work however, the moment I tried the "Permanant Root" option it worked like a charm and I was easily able to "ROOT" my phone.
I have then installed "BusyBox" & "Titanium BackUp" and have taken a BackUp of my phone. This also went through smoothly.
I then downloaded "ROM Manager" application available in the Market as I wanted to make a "Nandroid BackUp" before trying anything else out like flashing. "ROM Manager" has the inbuilt facility to download & install "Clockworkmod Recovery" based on which phone model it is installed and it is required before anything else can be used or executed from "ROM Manager". I executed this option and it searched and listed "Liquid E" as the only option for installing "Clockworkmod Recovery" which I went ahead with and let the installation workout. This however was UNSUCCESSFUL as it gave an error stating "An error occurred during installation". I tried this twice but it came up with the same error message.
My Phone is working without any issues at the moment but I have never tried to enter into the default Recovery Mode also of my phone. The default option does not have any other useful options like BackingUp & Restore that the custom Recovery applications provide like "Clockworkmod Recovery".
I would like to intall a "Custom Recovery" on this specific phone model specifically keeping in mind that it has a updated stock Froyo 2.2 ROM. Does anybody know or have the same which has been tried & tested for this phone?
I came across "Malez Recovery" also for the Liquid E phone but believe it was made for the Eclair 2.1 and installing it or trying to install the same might mess up or brick my phone as it is a stock Froyo 2.2 ROM.
Phone Specifications are as follows:
Model : ACER LIQUID E FERRARI SPECIAL EDITION
Android Version : FROYO 2.2
Baseband Version : A1-05.02.01
Kernel Version : 2.6.29
Build Number : ACER_LIQUIDE_4.005.02_AAP_G2F
CPU : QUALCOMM 768 MHz
CPU Version : 8250
RAM & ROM : BOTH 512
Horizontal Pixels : 480
Vertical Pixels : 800
Acer APN Version : 1.117-1
I have also found that LiquidNext 1.9.2 is a custom ROM that can be flashed on this model and have also come across another post which details installing Gingerbread on this model. Please advise and/or provide links to the following:
1. Install Custom Recovery (A Tried & Tested One!!!)
2. Best & Latest Custom ROM that can be Flashed (Again A Tried & Tested One!!!)
MOST IMP: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT HERE IS THIS SHOULD BE FOR THE "ACER LIQUID E FERRARI SPECIAL EDITION" MODEL AS MANY OTHERS LISTED ON THE NET ONLY SPECIFY THEY ARE FOR "LIQUID E" WHICH IS A COMMON TERM FOR MULTIPLE ACER MODELS & THESE ARE MOSTLY OLDER VERSIONS.

[Q] versions of CWM compatible with all devices?

Hi, I'm fairly new to this rooting business -- but successfully did so with a Huawei G300 (CM10.1-R3) ; now wish to explore doing so with my Huawei U8652 -- but there're not the same "easy" guides as there are with the G300
BUT
have used ROM Manager to install CWM on the phone after having rooted it -- but the version ROM Manager installed was 4.0.1.5
--
the latest version mentioned in discussions I've seen of upgrading the ROM on this phone is 5.2.7
for the G300 I downloaded 6.0.2 -- which isn't without its problems it seems (seems to interfere with Google Now, though I'm too much of a newbie to say why this could be -- I'm not the only one with the problem however, going by the posts on the CM site
the procedure for rooting and installing a new ROM on the G300 installed 6.0.1 initially, which I upgraded to 6.0.2 by flashing zip file - that earlier version isn't without its probs either -- OTA upgrades don't work properly, but Google Now seems NOT to be interfered with at least
could I
go through the procedure for the G300, from the stage where it installs the bootloader and CWM?
install the newer version despite its problems with Google Now?
are these versions "compatible" with the Huawei 8652?
install some other version -- I've found links to 5.2 but none of the links seem to work
There is no such universal CWM.
Cheers.
Sent from my Sony Xperia Ray Smartphone.
thanks -- what I was afraid of, but ...

thanks for the prompt reply -- that's what I was afraid, and it sure pays to be careful
speaking of which, sometimes you have to take a punt
don't know what it's reputation is like, but I've found what appears to be a listing of relevant files' links to storage sites FileCrop -- though it's hard to know exact details of what they are just from an abbreviated name, and the names don't really link on Google to any discussion of them
Sheesh!!
thanks again

Need help upgrading my Software Kindle Fire HDX 7 Inch with Cyanogenmod 11 Safestrap4

Hello dear Community,
i really hope you can help me along. First of all pardon my english... i have not used it for a decade so it is really "rusty"
I bought a Kindle Fire HDX 7 Inch (the Version with Front Facing Camera) second hand. It came with Cyanogenmod 11 and Safestrap on it installed by the previous owner.
Now i figured out that there are CM 12 and CM 13 Versions availuable for this device (thor should be its pseudonym)...
I don't want to brick my device and i have no idea where to really start....
First of all i always read about unlocked bootloaders... if i am correct my tablet at the moment does not have an unlocked bootloader just a sort of "bypass" so that the older Cyanogenmod 11 works? Is that correct?
If so how can i unlock it properly... i already tried the 1 Click unlock method posted in this forum using VirtualBox etc.... which failed with an error code and did not seem to work out well.
What else do i have to do in order to successfully install Cyanogenmod 13 nightlys? Is Safestrap as sort of a recovery based on an older TWRP Version (2.7x is suppose) a proper recovery for installing a rom? Or do i need to change the recovery? What about the rom slot management options in Safestrap i found!?
I hope somebody might help me out with this (i am not totally new to flashing roms) but i just want to be sure to make it in the right way and order... (cyanogenmod wiki is not speaking a word about unlocking the bootloader in terms of how to do it properly).
Lots of Questionmarks over my head.... *sigh*
I hope someone can help me sort this out.
Best regards

Quick responses (btw - your english is fine!):
- Safestrap is not a generic recovery and can not be used to flash roms other than those designated as "Safestrap Compatible"
- Unlocking the bootloader is the best (really only) path to newer ROMs including CM 12.1 and CM 13; links to relevant threads below
- If you opt to stick with Safestrap v4 do NOT create or use secondary slots; everything happens in the STOCK slot
Everything you need to know about unlocking the bootloader can be found in these two threads. Read the thread OP (important) and then focus on posts made during the past 30 days. Good luck!

Elephone p8 mini

Hello everyone, I'm new here, so if my post is in the wrong place, please help me, and move it to the correct location!
I have a new device, Elephone p8 mini, but I have not found any information anywhere on root, custom recovery, custom rom, etc.
If anybody can help me, I'm grateful!
Recovery seems to be up on 4PDA, but since I don't speak russian, I'm unable to login/register to download the files
hello, here is the official forum of p8 mini

Recovery compiled on the basis of the kernel firmware Android 7.0 version Elephone_P8_Mini_20170727 / Thu Jul 27 18:26:37 CST 2017
4PDA has 2 warnings for this...
WARNING !! After the installation of the recovery, subject to changes in the system, SuperSU installation is required, otherwise the system will not boot.
"Does not see internal memory" (can not decrypt the / data partition). The solution is to format the partition. ( All your data and programs are lost! )
Custom Rom
Can someone tell me why there is no Custom ROM available for the Elephone P8 Mini? I have found that there are MediaTek (Custom) ROM available for example like the Vernee Apollo Lite.
Would be nice if this also possible for the Elephone P8 mini
Hello,
Quite old posts here, but just to tell, there's no proper custom rom because kernel sources haven't been released.
(I try to ask directly elephone but they didn't want to help ... )
I have somewhat of a kernel running for twrp and stock rom, without camera drivers (didn't manage to find them in order the 3 camera work well)
My firsts attempts can be found here : https://github.com/Blop1759/android_kernel_elephone_p8_mini
Dtb are ok, build is ok on its own (not along with a complete rom build) and for twrp.
Since those attempts, I burned the charging chip so didn't get further :/
thank you! will try it out.
(its a shame elephone is so crappy supporting their own products)
Hello,
I finally built another p8 mini from various pieces, including a p8 3d motherboard as they are the same (and I have a charging chip to come for my original one), so I will get a new try for a rom (7.1.2 at first)

I have also been trying to flash my SM-105FN for a few days now. These guidelines seem to work for select devices.
Perhaps devices with different firmware allow other ROMs to run whilst other's don't, including firmware versions where Samsung may of changed something with their bootloader etc during updates. It might be useful to collect some information for those who where successful in flashing SM-105FN to find out what firmware they used to get their ROM working.
