My phone used to be paired with my G watch, but after some problems, I decided to factory reset my watch and pair anew. till then it does not happen. at 1st my phone recognizes the watch and the code appears and I push the "pair" button, and it says "paired!", after that on my watch appears "updating" and then "syncing" but it takes a long time. For the android wear, the "updating" is on the screen the whole time, and when finished, nothing has happened and the watch isn't paired. I updated my andoird wear, cleaned its casch but no success. I've tried several times. My phone is htc e9 with lolipop, so is my G watch, with lolipop.
what should I do? some guy told me to update my watch, but it is not possibble as no network with unpaired phone. I also tried connecting the watch to pc and update it from there, bụt pc doesnt recognize the watch. help me please.
Try to reinstall the Android Wear app and sync the watch, it could probably fix the problem.

So I just got my new LG G Watch.
I paired it with my Moto G, and everything worked fine. Then I shut down the Watch, restarted it and now it won't work anymore. Everytime I connect it to my phone, it gives an error: "Something went wrong. Try again?". No matter what button I press, (yes or no), it just tries again. It seems like it's trying to download something.
I've already tried resetting, and wiping everything, as well as trying with another phone. What's happening?

Do you have the android wear app installed and have that guide the pairing? Something similar happened when I tried pairing with my Nexus 5. I had to hit the reset button on the watch for like 10 seconds or so (whatever the guide said) and let it run it's paces. Then let the watch and phone pair up.

I tried all that, no change. It is trying to download an OTA, but it gets blocked for some reason. I'll try manually updating to see if it helps.
Android wear can not find LG G Watch
After a factory reset my android wear can not find my watch. I have already reinstalled the app, cleared catch and data. Toggled airplane mode and bluetooth. I have unpaired the watch from the phone pre factory reset on the LG G watch.
When I get to the starting screen on my LG G watch it says lets get started so I pair it my phone it gives me a 6-9 digit number I hit pair, then it goes into updating then after that syncing. Once all that is done I get to the main page on the LG G Watch. From that point on the phone android wear can not find me watch. Also on the bluetooth settings on the watch its self it cna not find my phone. HTC one M8/ I have also tried it on a samsung galaxy S6 and S6Edge. Software is update on both devices and all apps ( Goolge play, services and wear are up to date)
Can anyone think of anything I have not tried? I have it scheduled for repair but I do not want to send it off for 14 days if I can fix it myself.
Thanks in advance
Ben
Hi,
I had the watch paired with my android phone and was using Amazfit Watch app to sync.
I have accidentally removed the saved Pace entry in bluetooth settings of my android phone. Now in the phone, i am unable to see the watch in the bluetooth devices list and hence unable to connect.
I tried rescanning the QR code entry shown in the phone but nothing worked.
Is there anything that i can try to make the watch bluetooth visible to near by devices?
Thanks,
Yuvaraj
Solved:
---------
I had to factory reset my phone and install the latest firmware.
I immediately got the pairing request in my phone and was able to pair with watch.
Thanks,

So I bought a Ticwatch 2 the other day
It stopped receiving notifications this morning, and so I decided to try resetting it and starting fresh.
I reset the watch, so it needs to be set up again, but it is still showing on my Bluetooth list. If i hit unpair on bluetooth, it just automatically pairs with the watch again. So I am now stuck in a loop of not being able to set up as the watch isn't reflecting it is connected to the phone, the app on the phone shows it isnt paired, but Android says it is connected and I can not possibly disconnect it.
I have tried clearing bluetooth cache and restarting the phone, and it always just connects right away.
Is there a way to force the phone to stop recognizing a bluetooth device?
Reset network settings ... gonna erase all BT/Wifi etc ....
I would say that or just rename it and then try to unpair the watch if it keeps trying to connect
I haven't used the watch for a while. Today I reset it and tried connecting it to my new phone (redmi note 8), and it's stuck telling me to "continue setup on phone screen". The wear os app on the phone says its connected, but the watch is stuck. I cannot find the Zenwatch manager app on play store either. Am I missing something?
Even I am facing the same issue the watch isn't being detected @Asus we need a solution, u can't just make the watch useless
Hello, you have to download and install the Zeenwatchmanager as apk from for example apkmirror. Without the Zeenwatchmanager, I was also unable to connect the watch. Afterwards, the Zeenwatchmanager can be uninstalled.
