i rooted my phone with z4root and installed titanium backup and wanted to uninstall some bloatware and when i tried to the phone restarted as it should but the apps were still there. why aren't they being removed?
Try uninstalling the apps again or re-installing titanium backup from market.
OR
Use rootexplorer to manually remove them from /system/app/ folder ( don't forget to remove the corresponding .odex files )
one more think happened when it didn't delete the app. the phone reset and everything on my phone disappeared. it was like i just took it out of the packaging when i bought it. would anyone know why that happened?
Confirm that you have busybox installed on your phone.lack of it could cause problems with titanium backup.
Though I am not sure that this its the problem in your case.
Use root checker to confirm
I have an att sgs2 rooted with stock ROM. I installed titanium backup and started to remove bloatware and accidentally uninstalled the stock clock. I had made a backup before uninstalling. I reset the phone and tried to restore the app +data, after 1 hour it was still trying to restore, I forced closed TB, tried to restore app only, let it run overnight, woke up and still trying to restore, I forced closed again, reset phone, downloaded stock apk, installed with confirmation, app was missing from app drawer, reset phone still missing, uninstalled backup, tried to install apk, install failed, removed orphan data, install failed, reset phone, install failed. Now instead of Clock 1.0, it says com.sec.Android.app.clockpackage with a line through it and it won't go away. I just want to install the stock clock app, what do I need to do?

Sorry, I thought app problems went in the app forum... A moderator can move this thread if needed.
In TB preferences, under troubleshooting settings, try changing App processing mode to AUTO Indirect.

I tried that, however com.sec.Android.app.clockpackage keeps coming back.
I have been doing a lot of research and now i have the clockpackage apk and obex in system/app... however it is not installing because TB won't let it, "clock 1.0" now shows up in TB along with "com.sec.Android.app.clockpackage", both have lines through them stating they have been uninstalled... "clock 1.0" has the option to restore (it doesn't work)... I have tried many steps in to install the APK, but it isn't working, i think TB is preventing this from happening.
How do i get clock 1.0 removed from the uninstall list in TB??? Restore does not work and i have tried all three app processing modes.
I have the exact same problem
Might anyone solved this yet?
update: that thread might solve the problem!
How to remove the samsung's app, except from Kies air?
Use Titanium Backup to either freeze the app you want or unistall it
First yu'll have to root your device. Then you can either flash a custom ROM that has uninstalled samsung bloatware or purchase titanium backup pro from the market, you'll be able to freeze or uninstall any app you want. You just have to be careful with deleting system apps since they can be important for your phone to work properly.

I would suggest you just freeze the app instead of uninstalling it. You will never know when you might need it one day!
So I found this file when I was backing up my apps in titanium and it was labeled titanium activator. I couldnt uninstall it and when I checked it out in root explorer it had a list of all my apps with apks, .tar, and preferences. I tried to uninstall it but it wouldn't do it. So I wiped data from titanium and it left me with this. Com.dragon.tpu what the hell was this and why was it on my tab?

You are kidding right? Google "Titanium Activator" and you'll see why no one is gonna help you with this issue.
Yes I was serious. I never downloaded that program. I pay for my apps. I was flashing different roms and noticed this in titanium. So some where along the road this was added to a rom. I figured out how to get rid of it myself but thanks for your two cents.
I have granted root access with Magisk, and I'm using the paid PRO version of Titanium Backup. The app can freeze/unfreeze apps fine, and it (seems to) backup apps fine. But, whenever I try to restore an uninstalled app, it says "Restoring App+Data" and never progresses further. I have to force close the app. What should I do?
I also have this problem.
Someone said that UNchecking the developer options: "[ ] Verify apps over USB" worked to fix this.
