Sounds like you have some reading to do start with this
https://www.google.com/amp/s/forum....-g5/how-to/info-autos-g5-thread-t3350648/amp/
It's a good read...... If you're still stuck know that after you fastboot flash TWRP you have to unplug and pull the battery. Because if you don't the stock recovery overwrites the custom upon reboot.
If you don't flash magisk or su or dmvertify once in recovery it will flash stock recovery upon reboot.
maybe the problem is to pull battery out... cause i already done this and i had a twrp and it work great... until installing the stock kdz

Hi, I have a problem with my ace. I have official stock rom 2.3.3, yesterday when phone was on charger, he began to turn off, agin and again. when I attempt to start standard recovery mode to wipe factory reset, before I did that, phone started bootloop continuosly, it can't even reach recovery menu. I tried to flash with Odin, stock rom and others, didn't work, odin show pass but when restarted, he did bootloop again. Is there any help or service? May I flash stock rom now, because of warranty?
enter recovery mode
wipe davik cache
factory reset
clear cache
and flash with Odin
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
I have ever experienced it too... What i did was removing my SD card and SIM card, and then wipe dalvik cache and cache via Recovery before factory resetting it and then flash the stock ROM with ODIN.
If it still wont work, then its probably because of the ROM file.. maybe its corrupt, try redownloading it.
Flash a stock ROM without root and go for the warranty. Sounds like it's f***ed

I can't enter into recovery, phone restars before that and can't reach recovery mode.

Can you go to download mode? Then flash full package stock ROM.
Try to keep holding Power+Home button, it sometimes restart before coming to Recovery mode... so just keep doing it
I've tried to flash full stock, without results.
and i started emergency dload mode (arm9) mode. what is this?
hold power + home + volume down it should go into download mode... then you can flash stock rom with odin
Done, several times with different ROM-s, didn't work. Service is only solution I guess.
i was wanting to flash my s2 back to stock from the omega rom for the i777 but I flash and it loads but it keeps giving me errors every time I do ive done this with three different stock roms I used odin 3 to flash the tar file can anyone help me I cant even use the phone or set it up
thanks
Enter recovery and perform a wipe data/factory reset.
i cannot find a cmw or any recovery that works anyways to flash though odin do could u point me in the right direction
thanks
Assuming that you flashed back to stock as you said, you will have the stock 3e recovery. Boot into stock 3e recovery by holding down vol- vol+ and power until you see the recovery screen. Then select wipe data/factory reset. The phone will reboot and should give you a working system with no fc's etc.
Let us know if all is successful. After that, please describe what you want to do with the phone.

yes that worked thanks so much .... I was just putting it back to stock bc I was going to use it as a backup
I have a serious problem in my rooted S3. After flashing a problematic rom, i was forced to reset nandroid backup(i had already flashed the rom which i take the backup) Restore was successful, but suddenly I had issues with network("not registered on network") After flashing the latest modems from this video everything was fixed.
However when i flash a new rom from recovery, the screen always freezes on samsung logo. The only solution is to reset each time the latest that nandroid I had. In addition today, i have not acess in recovery(philz). What you suggest me to do? Sorry for my enlgish and thanks in advance for the people who answer.

Things are not so simple. I cannot have access in custom recovery menu. As a result it is impossible to flash a new rom, modem, kernel or restore a nandroid backup...
Download mod is working?
Flash stock rom for your region, through odin

have you tried reinstalling the newest CWM of TWRP threw downloader mode and then trying to boot into it.
i would try that before i restore to stock, i prefer TWRP but it is more of a personal choice.

So i flash custom recovery via odin and then i unroot my device. right?
If you want to return your device to stock just grab the correct carrier OTA file for your X and flash it via Odin and you will be 100% completely stock. No root stock recovery and stock Rom

I don't understand what is it that I might be doing wrong, I root the tablet, have bootloader unlocked, and install Dualrecovery. From TWRP recovery I wipe Dalvik cache, Cache, System, and Data. Install PAC Rom Castor and GApps using TWRP, all seems to go well, no errors present themselves. Then I reflash "TabZ2-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.flashable" to keep the recovery intact before I attempt to boot into system per their instructions after installing a custom ROM. I wiped Dalvik and Cache before I reboot and once it goes away from recovery nothing occurs just my tablet remaining in flash boot which is a good thing so I can start all over again since obviously something went wrong and just use flashtools to get back to an old stock firmware. I have a SGP512. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Edit: Even tried it w/o wiping system and same results just doesn't boot.

Your device will never Boot if you flash pac with nuts recovery. It causes to much Problems with cm based roms. So to rescue your tab you need Boot into fastboot and write "fastboot erase recovery" then flash this kernel http://doomlord.xperia-files.com/do...2U3RrS2VybmVsX1dJRkktdjAzXzE3LjEuMS5BLjAuNDAy
Do not reboot to system. Power of the device and then Boot into recovery (when you see the Sony logo and the LED light turns pink/amber/orange keep tapping/pressing VOLUME UP key). Then you will See cwm recovery. There first do a factory reset and Format system. Format system is in mounts and storage options) now flash PAC Rom and gapps and reboot to system now the device should Boot correctly. After the first boot do all settings then go to developer options and you will find expand reboot menu or something Luke this. Tick it and than hold the power button for some second tap reboot than bootloader (before connect the device with your PC) than use fastboot to flash the New recovery. Use one of these http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpe...wrp-cwm-philz-recovery-collection-z2-t3052676
For instructions to flash recovery look in the thread there are a step "Installation" if you need more help write me

Thanks! I used Flashtools to flash over the recovery via fastboot and accessed the recovery to do the rest. I had no idea CM based ROMS don't work well that recovery or any other I haven't tried yet. Any suggestion on what recovery to use? So far CWM got me this far not sure if I should try others. Philz Touch seems to be more appealing and the same as CWM.

This is twrp but it works with cmbased roms.
So me trying to install a MM rom on my LP phone have caused me this error. Is there any guide out there that would help me fix this?
I have tried booting into TWRP using vol down + power but it just keeps leading to this error. I can't even get into download mode. I am guessing im SOL?
Factory reset first , TWRP is started next boot

Whenever I do Factory reset all I get is the boot loop, also for download mode.
EDIT: FIXED! I am just an idiot at reading.
you can try to install nexus toolkit ( support LG adb ) . check at bootloop , reinstall TWRP image and choose reboot recovery
