as far as i know, not every one max has LTE. look up your model here: http://phonedb.net/index.php?m=device&s=list
also make sure your in a area where LTE is avaliable and your carrier offers it.

Hey you guys. Currently own the HTC Touch Pro 2 AKA AT&T Tilt 2
I'd love to own the new HD2 but I dont know where to find one online for a good price and if its capable of the AT&T 3G GSM bands.
Second phone I'm deciding on is the Sony Xperia X10, and again, I see the only 3G band it can get from AT&T is the 2100 band.
So the lesser the bands it can connect to, the less 3G service I can get? Am I correct?
Thanks.
bump anybody?
You'll need a Telstra HD2 if you want AT&T 3G. As for the X10, the Canadian Rogers version would work on AT&T 3G bands as well.

Thanks Chuck. I've seen the Telstra HD2's and their really expensive at the moment and have to load a hack rom on it for it to work.
What would you think of this Xperia?

Hey you guys, got a question about an unlocked TMOBILE HD2, would it work with AT&T 3G network?
Thanks.

That one won't work with AT&T 3G. You're looking for something with 850/1900MHz 3G support. The white version of the X10 on that site would work.

No, T-Mobile and AT&T do not use the same 3G bands. It will not be compatible with AT&T's 3G network. The best you'll get is EDGE.

Find out if the phone supports the bands the carrier uses. Most carriers use their own bands. like an ATT device will not 3g or 4g on Tmobile. and vice versa

Well I know the phone works on my network what I need to know is will it get the same download and upload speeds as the T-Mobile variant I know they won't get the att speeds cause they use LTE T-Mobile does not use LTE so it could work with full data speeds but I am not sure

As long as it supports the same bands then yes it will get pretty much the same speeds.
hi guys,i've got a few question about my e120L,
(1)what is the frequencies that it can use concerning the 4g lte network,as i've google it,seems that this phone is using 800mhz,is this information correct?if not, what is the frequencies that this phone is using?
(2)is it possible to use 4g network in HK now ? if yes, please tell me the name of the carrier.
(3)if not,is it possible that i can change the baseband or something else to make the 4g work in hk?
thx for answering my question~~
Hello! I bought my HTC one via ebay and I've rooted and using HDR 31.6 and ever since I can't get any LTE signal and im stuck at WCDMA which is 3G only. I read a thread here about flashing radios, so is it possible for me to get LTE signal if I flashed my radio? Thanks!

Where do you live? Are you sure your country/provider actually have a LTE infrastructure?

That's simple, because you got the one with the North American Radio Bands, not the European (which the ME supports)
I had to buy my Nexus 5 from the UK Play store because of this and my LTE works flawlessly in Bahrain.
hello..
I have the HTC DROID DNA by Verizon. Bought it from US but i live in GREECE now.
Is there a way to use 4G on my carrier here? (VODAFONE/COSMOTE/WIND. i have SIM from all the carriers). i only get HSDPA from GLOBAL network type. If i select LTE i dont get signal.
Im s-off and rooted. Rom:CM 12.1, lollipop 5.1.1
I dont mind if i should flash another ROM. i just want to use the 4G/LTE that DNA supports.
Unlocking more bands?
Hello guys.. as i mentioned above my problem is that i cant get 4G on my Droid DNA on a non-Verizon SIM card.
i found that the day supports the LTE band 13(700) - Verizon only for 4G. Is there a way to unlock mroe bands on this phone; (like FDD-->900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2600 MHz?
thanks in advance!

Development here is slowed now. But generally I think the band's have to do with hardware so unless your 4g band is specified in the phone specs then no way to add a band.
thanks!
