Audio Volume low - Moto Z Questions & Answers

Hi,
is there any way to raise the audio volume?
Especially when i do a phone call amd use loudspeaker the volume is very low.
It's ok when the environment is quiet but when i am driving on my car the volume should be louder.

I don't think so. There is a small speaker on the back which seems to act as the loud speaker.
EDIT: Just checked, the one on the back is the loud speaker.
thanks mate

Hi
If you press and hold on the thin white line while your in the radio application (the line that the frequency numbers sit on in the middle of the screen) then it brings up a menu. One of the options on that is for using the speaker.
Cheers.
Out of curiosity, how is the loud speaker? Can you blast the volume without it getting crackly at all? Is it tinny sounding?

Quite loud and not too tinny. Copes with Lacrymosa by Evanescence reasonably well compared to most phone speakers anyway.

Earphone in-call volume

Does anyone else have problems with the call volume when using earphones that have mics on them? I have the bose mie2 and the caller can hear me fine but I can barely hear them even with turning the volume all the way up. Any suggestions?

What do yo mean? :O
Do you hear buzzing when you turn the volume up?
What's the sound quality like with the volume up?
Where is your phone sitting when you are playing music?
Does it sound the same through headphones?

No..it works fine when I turn the volume up...Sound quality is crystal clear when the volume is high...Didn't try with the headphones yet! The buzz sound is so low..I can only hear when I place the speaker just beside my ears.

Probably normal interference sound you are hearing. If you only hear it on low with the phone right at your ear, that seems most likely.
Or..........metal plate in head?
Perhaps at higher volumes the buzzing sound is cancelled out by the music? Get a can of compressed air and give it a blast, there may be a small piece of something rattling around in there (very small).
When you listen at night, is your phone plugged into the charger? If so, you may be hearing switcher noise from the battery charger. Try a different one. Just guessing.

I've seen this issue- it's usually caused by lint to dust getting on the terminals in the headphone jack. Best thing to do is try compressed air first. You may also be able to scrape some lint out with a toothpick, although you want to be careful when doing this.
If you don't have any luck with those methods it's probably going to be a warranty issue.

Only one speaker working.

I have redmi note 4 sd version. I found that the speaker in right side of charging port is only working while no sound from left side speaker. Does anyone else having the same issue or this is how redmi nite 4 build.
There is only one speaker. On the left side it looks like there is a speaker but there isn't.
