yes it's normal, you are better off to cancel your order and go to the nearest shop, that way you also have a chance of customer service.

Can't cancel. Order says "Confirmed" with the "Cancel" button gone.

Same someone else said on another thread that he ordered on the 27 of Nov and received his yesterday.

You should be able to cancel the order until its shipped. I have ordered from Samsung many times and the speed of the orders are hit or miss. The customer service is absolutely horrible, theyre lazy, never have any information and are clueless to anything. I ordered a deep sea blue note 8 on the release date in the US (nov 17th). they held my ordering in pending for over a week. Called customer service and they told me my funds were not verified but my bank pulled the money out. Samsung blamed the bank, the Bank blamed Samsung. Keep in mind this is TD bank which is the bank for Samsung finance. Long story short, i had to cancel the current order and re order the item. When i re ordered the note 8, it was cleared and shipped within two days. The bummer to this was, since i had to re order i lost out on the free Gift. When i pre ordered my first note 8, it was processed ASAP and i had it 3 days after it was shipped( i paid for 1 day shipping). They fought me on refunding that as well.

You might need to call them. I got worried when I ordered mine it took a few days to change to shipped even though I choose next day.

Also, how long until the pending charge dropped off after you cancelled your order?
Did you have a cancel button or did it disappear so you had to cancel over the phone?
Soon as I canceled it the pending dropped. Yes I always had the cancel button even after the item was shipped it was there. Only after it was delivered the button disappeared for all my orders

Okay guys, so I called them half hour ago, and like @black96ss mentioned before, payment method not verified but yet they had my money in pending since the day I ordered. So I told the agent that I got the free gift already and what I should do with it? They just said to just "keep it" lol. On a scale of 1 - 10, I give their CS support a 0. Their CS support is use less.
I got upset and told her "Okay thanks for your time" and hung up.
Called back to actually cancel, this cust rep was "somewhat" helpful, he said he recognizes this as a fairly common issue and that he can send a note/email to management to get my order pushed through/confirmed or whatever and that I should get at least shipping email by Friday or if I want to still cancel. I hesitated for about a whole minute, then I replied "send it to them".
Not sure if I made the right call. . :/

Just called them this morning, did not even know they where going to be selling them. The said they filled pre orders on a first come first serve basis. I went to the store and pre-ordered there, and received my 32 GB champagne Tablet withen 20 minutes.
*NOTE* they only have the 32 GB Champagne color.
Unfortunately it is a Christmas gift, so I will not be able to give any information on it.
EDIT: They will apparently ship even though it says in store pickup online. Just use the Chat.

i called on the phone and got one.. they are shipping it to me.. he said there was 3 left and he had 28 web chats for the same product to be shipped but i got one of the 3.
Well if you live in Illinois you might be lucky enough to get a Champagne model. They definitely don't have the Grey in-store yet.

They told me in store that they would receives a trickle of tablets everyday so I'd call every day as they seem to be the most helpful.
I bought mine from Kevin if that helps.
they charged my card and sent me an invoice.. my guess is tomorrow i will get a notice that it will not ship and i will be out the money and have to wait for them to refund my money.
This is getting ridiculous. They are showing up in flashes at places we never expected from all the announcements, then they are gone before anyone can react!
I've never chased a pre-order like this before - completely out of control....

Got an order in with a CSR. Started an online chat session right after I saw this thread open. Originally the CSR said that they didn't have any of the models in, but then said he'll check one more time.
After a couple minutes, he told me they had 5 left of the Champagne 32gb only. They had originally received 15, but 10 were accounted for by preorder.
He then gave me his telephone number and told me to call right away.
I called, and we went ahead with the order. Luckily, I've already been an ABT customer, so all my info was in the system. Just had to give them my credit card info.
Chose 2-day shipping, and was told I should get it on Friday.
I received a PDF invoice through email, but my order isn't showing up online yet ( crosses fingers).
This is absolutely crazy. I've had preorders in at 5 or 6 retailers, and it's come down to this?
The funny thing is, I was just shipped a gray dock yesterday from Best Buy. Gray dock and Champagne tablet? lol.

I Hear that I have several preordered too. Guess we could always sell extra on ebay to make up for cost if unable to cancle an order.
i was able to order one, delivery date of 1/5. Hopefully it gets delivered and hopefully its grey

I've been trying to get a replacement since December 1st. After numerous calls and emails I still don't have a tracking number.

In my experience, mine was ordered Friday, shipped that same day from Kentucky and arrived the following Monday. No problem with my N10.
I was able to get a replacement Nexus 10 ordered the same day as I called Google about it (shipped a few days later and got it a few days ago).

I am in the same situation,called 20 times and nobody's knows when my Tablet will be ship....
Then i relives that the people that are working for Google Store are not really Google employees,the are subcontracted.

Have you tried to cancel? I was able to cancel mine a full week after ordering the Nexus 4.. 1-2 weeks shipping time but wont reach me in time for my vacation so i cancelled
I was told I cannot cancel because the original one is out of the "buyers remorse period". I said this has nothing to do with buyers remorse, the screen is defective. They said there's nothing they can do about it because it's their policy.

I've already decided I will never purchase another device from the playstore again. The customer service is the worst I've experienced. If you're lucky you will never need to call them. When I ordered my Nexus and received it within a couple days I thought, Why are these people complaining about bad service?. After I received my unit with the dreaded light bleed and needed to contact the playstore that's when I was able to see what so many are complaining about. I was originally told to wait 48 hours to receive my shopping labels, when I called back after the 48 hours I was then told the mailing labels don't take that long but now I have to wait another 48 his for this mythological specialist. After a couple hours on the phone and being escalated I finally received my labels and replacement information. When I received the replacement with broken seals and worse light bleed I had to deal with them again. I wanted a refund when calling the playstore this time. The CSR first told me I could not get a refund because I was past the 15 day buyers remorse period, and this is after I told her I was told by two previous reps that the 15 day return policy would reset with the replacement. Her response was that they were wrong and this is the policy. They have no accountability for their reps. The funny part is I was still within the 15 days even with the original unit. After I had to bring that to her attention she proceeded to inform me I would be charged a 15% restocking fee for it being buyers remorse. How is it buyers remorse when I said the unit is defective and I already tried a replacement unit? Once again I had to speak with a supervisor. I am now waiting for my refund after returning both units. It's been one week and if I dont receive it after this week I will file a dispute with American Express.

I talked to the Huawei customer care and he said I can cancel my order at any point it time. But I guess that has to be before it ships.
Went this route this morning as well. When making the order for the Graphite 64GB all it told me is a "early November" shipping date. Since so new a order have to wait some to get a better date.
Just saw they have added 128GB models on the Huawei website in aluminum and graphite

Im in the middle of fraud hell trying to order from Huewai.
First my credit card rejected the transaction. Talked to them and got it cleared and they said it would allow the order next time. Of course by then, the one I wanted (Aluminum, 64GB) was OOS on the site.
Phone came back in stock later, attempted to place order again, rejected again. Called my credit card co (again) and they said everything should have worked....placed order on Huawei's site with the credit card people on the line....rejected on the site, credit card said its not them (they didnt get a transaction request)

This happened to me the first time I tried ordering 64gb on the site and I got a call telling them its not fraud. Tried yesterday and exactly the same thing even though my bank allowed it and for exact amount to. Tell me if you get anywhere with this please considering that site sucks for ordering.

This happened to me the first time I tried ordering 64gb on the site and I got a call telling them its not fraud. Tried yesterday and exactly the same thing even though my bank allowed it and for exact amount to. Tell me if you get anywhere with this please considering that site sucks for ordering.

Will do. I did a live chat with them today and confirmed their fraud alert is still intact on me and that they will get back to me within 24 to 48 hours (again)
Im not sure exactly how they flag it...if its mailing and/or billing address, name, etc. Ive tried with my wifes' name on our shared credit card and still got rejected so Im curious as to exactly what it might be.
EDIT: and of course now the Google site is OOS too which means I cant even order there.
Well your bank/credit card companies suck. I got a text message asking if this was fraud and replied no and then tried again. Was a 45 second process. Order still processing today. Just don't mash the order button. Try once then contact your bank or have verification text/email messages set up... Pretty easy if you use your brain and set this stuff up when setting up an account. Mashing all the buttons only work in mk2 or street fighter 2. Both old news....

Read closer, its not my bank that's causing the issue anymore....and my bank(s) were quick to resolve the issue that was on their side.
My Discover card sent me an email immediately after it was declined...I clicked the "secure message" link, logged in and cleared the transaction, but since it was declined there was no pending order from Huawei, Huawei just never let me finish checkout. MOST online places would allow it to check out THEN the credit card would contact me to approve/deny the transaction.
As further proof, I had the credit card co wait on the phone with me while I attempted to go through checkout again and it still got denied. Credit card co. saw no new transactions come from Huawei, so it HAS to be on Huawei's side. Further confirmation of THAT was when Huawei support did actually tell me I must be flagged in THEIR system and it would take 24-48 hours to get it resolved.
As far as using my brain, well, my brain tells me I should expect childish answers like that from XDA.
Bought my Note 8 today, finally. It appears the cut off date for the promo was the 24th. Any way they'll let me get the free 360 or am I just SOL? Already submitted the necessary info, but just wondered if you guys had any luck after the cut off date

What is your receipt? Might be able to tell samsung you got it a day or 2 ago.
They dont realy look that hard at the receipt

Yeah, worth a shot
How long do they take to verify and ship the gift after we submit all the info. Haven't used samsung promo for a long time and last time they took more than a month.

Mine was verified in a matter of minutes. Will ship in a matter of weeks.
Muy gift just got shipped. Ordered from Samsung on the 31st of August.
Here in Oz they said it will take 15 days to verify .
All they give us is a quick wireless charger... What a rip-off compared to the US and UK...
Well apparently they rejected my information. I called customer service, and they escalated it to make an exception, since it's only 2 days past the end of the promotion. Now I just wait on the email telling me whether it's been accepted or not
Submitted my receipts today when I got home, and already got confirmation emails saying gifts are being shipped. Guess it depends where you are submitting from or something. Good luck!
Submitted mine over 2weeks ago approval came back within minutes. Will not ship until October 16th
