I received one ZenWatch 2 yesterday. Originally, it was Android Wear 1.5. I could see the available wifi but could not connect. Everything is OK, but the watch only can connect to my LG G2 via Bluetooth. It was updated to Android Wear version 2.0. Wifi still is unavailable although I tried to factory reset the watch 3 times. Manually adding wifi network also has no effect. Also, the app Your Feed could not work properly, it only shows infinite circling.
The Android Wear version is: 2.8.0.182823779
The Google play services version: 11.9.75
Android OS: 7.1.1
Build number: NWD1.170706.001
So is it a software or hardware defect? Can you help me any solution? Thank you very much.

I have googled it and have done everything but none are useful.
I think all lenovo phones wont support android wear.
Is there still any way to connect ? or
is there any app which will support file sharing with android wear from phone without connecting it to it ?

As far as I know, Android Wear devices require Bluetooth 4.0. Did a quick Google search and your Lenovo device only has Bluetooth 3.0.
Also, open this on your mobile device: http://www.android.com/wear/check/
I am using lenovo p780 8GB not 4gb.
Have a look into this : flipkart .com/lenovo-p780/p/itmduzgy3zbqcbv8 (8gb version has bluetooth v4 support)
wear check shows that my mobile is supported.
I have installed many apps to check compatibility of android wear and bluetooth , its all ok.
I have checked everything , it supports on my mobile. but actually its having problem with connecting after getting paired.

What version of Android are you on?
Have you tried resetting & unpairing the Wear devices?

Don't know then. If you have access to a different known compatible device then try it with that.

My watch wont connect to a Lenovo Vibe X2.
I am getting a message about "incorrect PIN or password" but there is no way to enter them, since Android wear app should take care of this.
I guess it is something to do with the Lenovo ROMS..
I have a G Watch R, Stock MM firmware. No matter what i do i cannot get notifications on the new PE1 update. I've re-installed, re-paired, wiped the watch, uninstalled/re-installed Android Wear. nothing. Everything else works fine on the watch, just no notifications. If i go into the AW settings and test the notifications, i get nothing either. Only thing i haven't tried yet is wiping the watch from recovery. And yes, notification access is allowed and i've tried cycling it. Anyone having similar issues?
This isn't a problem I want to see. I have a Moto 360, still on NK2, but thinking about going to gpe1 with (systemless) root/xposed if possible, but I'm worried about bluetooth connectivity with Android Wear and Garmin devices. Hope you get it figured out.
No problems at all with Android Wear, current version. My phone is on 6.0.1 and my ZenWatch 2 have been compatible with all of the apps that I used to date. No issues with BL or WiFi. Could just be an issue with your watch and not one with Asus.
Moto 360 v1 and S5 on 6.0.1 GPE1
Ok, I finally got around to doing the update and other than having to remove the phone/watch pairing, and wait for it to re-pair and re-load all of the apps, it seems to work as expected.
If only dismissing a text message notification on the watch could mark it as "read" in the Samsung messaging app.
Does anyone have a same problem with me? I don't know why? I can't hang up or Ignore a phone call, when i pressed both, my phone still rang! I have just reset factory my Bip and re-install Mifit but it still doesn't work! My Bip Firmware version is: V0.1.1.36 and Mifit App version is at 3.4.0! Can anyone tell me what the problem?
What OS on phone? Many people complained about the same issue for other watches on Android 8.0+ (not sure if 8.1 only, or from 8.0 and up). Check other threads. No solution so far unless you want to downgrade phone.
I had the same problem with 7.0 (samsung) I have changed my phone and runs on 8.0 ( huawei) I still have the problem, It worked fine on my samsung 7.0, suddenly it stopped working one day, changed my phone but still the same problem,so I guess its the watch.

Hi folks, listen. I just got a new smartwatch device polar M200 and I can't connect with it because of poping out warning that I have to connect with it using an app which I have installed and nothing have changed. I have tried to use my other older phones to connect with it, without even installing this app. And it have worked out without any problem. Both of those device's had Oreo version. I don't know what to do. HELP
I have a Chinese radio specifically the 7023b model and with android 9 in google pixel 2, everything worked perfect. I connected android car through a usb cable, and enjoyed google maps and spotify. When I have updated to Android 10, everything works until the moment of connecting, it asks me for authorization usd debug, but it remains black screen and although I hear the voice, I can not see the image. It has a solution?
I'm experiencing the exact same problem with a Galaxy S9 and 7023B unit. Worked great with Android 9, no longer with 10. Even received a security update a few days ago, but didn't solve the problem. I contacted the radio vendor and said they are working on a patch for the radio and will send the new firmware when done, but I'm not hopeful. Think it is new security protocols for Android. Hope someone finds a fix!
