Homtom HT16, Error! Official firmware - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi i am new in this foro, i have a problem with my Homtom HT16. It does not work, when I try to turn it on, it vibrates and the initial screen with the Homtom logo appears and then several lines and stripes appear in the lower half of the screen and until it arrives it never ends.
Searching several tutorials I found that installing the official rom would be solved, I proceeded to download it along with other tools, the SP flash tool and some drivers ... Perform the procedure step by step as it appeared in the tutorial but the problem persists.
Due to the problem that the screen is blocked with several lines, it is impossible to enter recovery mode. If you can help me and tell me if this has a solution I would appreciate it

Is there any solution available?
I have the same problem, could you solve it?

Hi !
Today the screen of my Cubot One went black, when I turn it on and off the problem remains, I can still lock the screen.
I downloaded a ROM and I tried installing it with both "Smart Phone Flash Tool" and "SP Flash tool" (Or maybe it is 2 different versions of the same software).
I load the scatter file but when I hit the "download' button nothing happens...
Can you please help me with my problem ?

The firmware I used to flash the phone succesfully was the cubot one turbo available in the needrom page. Maybe the newer versions of cubot one have a new graphic chip or something different.

Get copy of the rom that is not corrupted. One cause of corruption is a bad download of the rom.
As it's a checksum error, see if there's an MD5 hash for the ROM file on the download site, if so run an MD5 on what you've downloaded and check if the hash you get matches the one on the download site.
Also deleting the checksum.ini file from the firmware folder removes these errors.
I get the same problem even after deleting that file. In other posts/sites, one mentions that in the ".ini " file change the switch from "1" to "0". For me that too didn't work. I tried 3 ROM files, and all can't be corrupt.
But please try these, as they work with some ROMs.

Use one of this 2 SP Flash Tools. Reccomended V5. See if that preload is loading.

Lenovo Tab3 (TB3-710I) bricked!

Yesterday, I flashed Tzul's S000031 ROM for the Lenovo Tab3 7 Essential (TB3-710I). It was a successful root, until after I started the tablet again, it only let out a long vibrate, with short vibrate intervals after about 5 seconds.
I first flashed TWRP on the tablet yet I think it did not load, as I started into recovery yet saw the Android Stock Recovery running.
I've been looking at guides, flashing other versions to no avail. SP Flash Tool always shows that it cannot load DRAM (4032 error or 0xFC0 error).
This happened for the first time that I've been flashing and rooting phones. I hope you help me out here.

Hi, did you find anything?
I have three TB3-710l (they are the company I work for), I have successfully root 2 of them but the newest tablet doesn't have the same luck.
First I install TWRP by Tzul, but the TWRP have an error never mount anything.
Second I try to flash stock firmware (Lenovo_Tab_3_TB3-710I_MT6580_S000032_160921) then the same happened, never turn on and just vibrates.
Always using SPFT, and now I have the same problem has you: always shows that it cannot load DRAM (4032 error or 0xFC0 error).
EDIT: Hi, for everyone who get in here with this problem, please read all this thread.
I unbrick my tablet with this answer in specific.
Good Luck!

Softbricked my Lava R1s - Please help!!!

Hi,
I couldn't figure out where to ask this query since I couldn't find anything regarding my phone. I own a Lava_R1s with StarOS V3.3 with Android Version 6.0. This is a phone available specifically in the U.A.E market since its made without camera and GPS so that it can be used in the oil field.
I tried to root the phone and now its soft bricked. I can enter fastboot mode and recovery mode (TWRP) but every time i try to switch on the phone it keeps going into a loop of the "Lava Powered by android" and switches off and then continues to keep doing that.
Here is what i did.
1. I used fastboot to unlock the OEM.
2. Then I flashed TWRP as recovery for the mobile.
3. After that i installed SuperSU zip file.
After all these steps my phone refuses to start up. It just comes to the LAVA powered by android screen and stays on that screen till i press the power button.
Further more I tried flashing the boot and system with Stock ROM files downloaded from needrom.com. That hasn't helped. In fact the looping of the initial screen started after flashing boot and system files (I used img files for Lava R1 Lite since those where the only ones i could find).
Would be really grateful if anyone could provide me a solution for this issue.
Another thing is that a lot of my colleagues have the same phone, so if there is anyway to extract the rom from their phone and install on mine without actually rooting their device it would also work for me i guess.

I had the same problem , and I fixed it.
When you install the TWRP for some reason the data partition get corrupted to resolve this you need to do the following :
---- before you do any thing capture the following information and keep it ----
IMEI , Barcode, Modem Version, Bluetooth MAC , WIFI MAC address
IMEI, barcode and Modem Version details can be found in the factory mode:
- switch your phone off
- Press power button and volume down -- you will boot into factory mode
- from the menu select version ( scroll using volume down button ) click power button
you should see BB chip details, MS Board, etc
note down the following into a paper or to your computer and keep it ( in my case it was useful when I changed the rom)
1- IMEI numbers
2- Modem Version ( Baseband version)
3- barcode number ( I found this info only in this menu)
for the (Bluetooth and WIFI) MAC address you need to boot into your phone and go to settings , scroll down to About phone ( in my case I need to click to More) , then click on Status
you will found ( also you can found the IMEI information it should match what you capture above)
1- Bluetooth MAC address
2- WIFI MAC address
now you have everything you need to format your mobile in case that was needed.
---- Note the following steps will wipe your contacts and reset the phone settings, data on your SD card should not be effected -------------
To root your mobile do the following:
1- install TWRP using SP_Flash
2- copy SuperSU to your SD card
3- reboot to recovery (into TWRP)
if you install SuperSU, now you should notice that it didn't complete and there are some errors for that you need to fix the data partition before install SuperSU
4- click wipe, click Advanced Wipe
5 - select Data and Click on "Repair or Change File System"
if its corrupted the size should be 0 to fix it continue step 6
6- Click change File system and change it to EXT4
7- Wipe to Change it should format the partition for you
when complete check the size of the partition is not 0
if its still 0 " Click Repair File System" in menu of step 5
now you are ready to install SuperSU

Please tell me how to troubleshoot my software update error in my LAVA R1s non camera Android phone. The software update notification keeps on popping up. And when I click on the notification update then I get the following error saying " Not enough memory. Update needs atleast (109.82mb)". I even have hard resetted the phone but I still get the same update error later on once it gets completely resetted. As soon as it gets connected to internet data connectivity I get the pop ups for software update. How do I get rid of the same.

Phone stuck in boot loop

Hello guys,
Sorry if this has been posted, but I was unable to find it on the forum, and I searched, a lot.
Problem is that suddenly, the phone got stuck in an infinite boot loop. It powers up, shows the white screen with black letters Blu boot up screen, and then powers back off. Then repeats.
I'm able to press the Volume Up key, and it gets to the Recovery menu, but before I can do anything, it powers back off, and then repeats the loop.
Any ideas? Help? Will be much appreciated. Thank you!
Try reflashing Lollipop stock ROM using SP Flash Tools with proper drivers.
Install VCOM drivers for MTK.
1. Download SP Flash tools for the BLU Vivo 5/A55 Slim from here
2. Download the repair ROM for the BLU Vivo 5 from here. This will remove everything on your phone, completely resetting it.
Note: This is the repair ROM for the BLU Vivo 5. If you are on some other Device, please use a google search and locate the repair ROM for your specific device. It will be approximately 1 to 2 GB in size.
3. Flash the repair ROM to your phone with SP Flash Tools.
4. Use OTA to update your phone to Marshmallow.

Hi Letrix, thank you for the reply. I've seen some posts about re-flashing, but the idea is to keep the information on the phone, specifically, the photos. Is there any alternative to re-flashing without loosing the information?
