Hi,
Looking for complete MTCD unit for hardware and software development.
Can be without SOM/RockChip module, have a minor fault such as no audio out.
This is so I can continue to assist the community with hardware related questions and develop modifications.
Also considering:
- Faulty px3/PX5 SOMs
- Mainboard only
Could then assist the community with parts from these modules.
Cheers!

Good spotting, thanks. I'm really hoping to get units with faults such as audio issues, I could potentially get a semiworking unit for developing hardware mods on and also test upgrades etc.
At the moment all I have is a single MTCD installed in my daily car - and to remove the unit for development is damaging bthe car, headunit and overly time consuming.
I have a spare PX5 and px3 SOM, just need the mainboard/display.
Anyone assist or willing to donate?
i have a px5 radio with the screen broken(needs to put a new lcd in it).
also with a working px5 board.

If your radio is still available, I would like to have it.
What would it all cost me after Austria? On mine the PX5 is defective, maybe something more.
thanks

Hello!
what is wrong with your phone? what it would sell and for how much?
look in pm
I'm also looking into motherboard. Does anybody have idea where I can find it?
Me too...
The only place I've managed to find one is here:
http://www.htcrepairparts.com/htc-touch-hd-c-129_220.html?language=en
But $US295 seems a little steep. Anyone else have any tips or a busted phone they want to dispose of?
htcrepairparts unfortunately is a little steep in prices indeed.

Hello, I have such board, if interested send me PM. I'm located in Belgium but can send it over post mail, UPS or (KIALA only in Belgium)
I need to be able to mount an HDTV on its side (tall view) and display a webpage on it.
Does anyone know which android stick or box supports switching to "portrait" mode?
I already bought an MK802IIIS and found out it doesn't support portrait mode
The MK809IV just got a software update to do this. It has annoyed some as now (without a fix-orientation app) some apps switch to portrait automatically.

Cool I just found that one here:
http://dealsprime.com/mk809iv-quad-...-8gb-hdmi-wifi-bt-rk3188-tv-stick-dongle.html
I really appreciate the info - I just have one last question - where can I get this update and instructions on how to flash it?
Thanks again!
http://www.rikomagic.com/en/download/download_22_1.html
There are two version of the hardware and the update is only for the newer one for now (201307* and up) but that should be what you get.
The download includes instructions.

So it appears you are saying that I can flash the firmware for the MK802IV into the MK809IV? Which would mean that the two are hardware identical, just sold by two different companies. So, could I just as easily buy a MK802IV and it will also have "portrait" mode with this update?
But, how can I be sure that the unit I purchase has a s/n higher then 201307?
Arse! Sorry, my bad - I meant an MK802IV - I hate these similar and yet so different model numbers. I am not sure if the 809 is compatible with the 802.

That said, reading the hardware spec they sound identical. The comment on the MK802IV forum is "MK802IV with AP6210 Chipset (S/N start from July) ...." so the chipsets look identical.
What did you mean by "The comment on the MK802IV forum is "MK802IV with AP6210 Chipset (S/N start from July) ...." so the chipsets look identical. "? Are you saying that I can/should use the MK802IV?
The 809 has only like two places its being sold and seem to ship from China.
But the MK802IV is being sold by many sourcse on Amazon.com for immediate delivery, but how would I know which ones have the latest hardware of 201307 and higher?

I am in the UK so can't help with sourcing it, but I would suggest it may be a lucky dip - however given the volumes it is less and less likely as time moves on that the older chipset is still in the channel.
I made a point of selecting a slightly more expensive amazon.co.uk marketplace seller who claimed to (and did) ship from the UK when I bought mine, just in case there were issues. If you can find a local shipper you may also be able to get a sensible answer re which serial numbers they stock before you place your order.
Good luck and apologies for the mistake earlier in model numbers.
Hi,
I got the MK802IV and installed the latest update and it works great in portrait mode.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I am using MK809IV plug pc, in dire need of portrait representation. Can you please explain how have you achieved the same? The download link for custom ROM does not seen to work anymore. Can you please help ?
I picked up a bsquare Snapdragon APQ8060 development board at a conference - never used it. Does anyone want it? I just hate throwing things out that might be of use to someone.
Will mail to first post up. You can PM me with address if you want to keep it private.
If you see that it's been spoken for, please don't PM me.
Hey there,
I'd very much like this board to try and get it involved with KernelCI (I can't post a link as a new user but it's dot org)
I'm in England, if you'd ship here I'll PM my address. I don't mind contributing to the costs also.
Thanks,
Matt
Update (4/12/17) I am doing my best to mark paid users with **. The confirmation numbers being listed in the thread are different than what the received payment confirmation numbers I am being provided. Kind of confusing but doing my best. If you don't put your username down in the notes when sending payment, it is difficult to confirm who you are. I have names first name and last initials on my payment list. If you paid and are not marked with **, private message me you first name and last initial. Thanks
Update (4/8/17) I can confirm that stereo speakers are now working on a LOS based ROM I tested.
Bounty payments should be made to @DrakenFX
He has a button to donate a cup of tea. (Please include your XDA username in the Note section so proper Thanks can be given to donators) @DrakenFX will in turn forward said tea to our Anonymous savior. Over the next couple of days, I will be private messaging all those that pledged to donate. A big thank you to everyone who is donating, everyone that did the dirty work and a special thanks to Anonymous, whoever you are.
Update (4/7/17) Tentatively we have a claim for bounty. Once provided and tested. I will be private messaging a friendly reminder to those who pledged to please pay.

I would like to start a bounty for anyone who can provide the code for getting both channels.(left and right) with the front facing speakers on Axon 7 working on custom Roms (LOS, RR... Etc) with little to no distortion. It would be better if someone could just provide the complete source code but don't imagine that will happen. I will start...

You need a DAC drivers and these are unlikely to be available, but wouldn't the custom Roms be complete then?

This is literally the only reason I haven't switched to LOS or RR from stock yet.

maybe this will be a question born of ignorance since I've never built a rom before, but isn't everything necessary to make audio work just as it does on stock contained within the stock rom? i mean, last time i briefly tried LOS which admittedly was over a month ago, i did notice for instance that the audio related configuration files normally located in places like /etc and /vendor/etc (among others) were simply not there. not that that's the cause of the issue but they are important, they affect things like output pathing and when the hifi dac can be used and what format/sampling rates are available for what output sinks etc...
i may make a telegram room for this. so anyone who wants to help out can come kick ideas around

Yeah it's an issue with all non stock based roms, not just LOS or RR.
Badboyz rom for example has as good as stock audio since it is stock based.
I wish you the best of luck in finding out how to make speakers work properly.

just for clarification this isn't simply an issue with the phones onboard speakers only doing mono vs stereo right it was my understanding that there are underlying issues with audio quality in general, likely relating to the custom roms not having a system in place to take advantage of the ak4461
I'll add $15 to the bounty as well.
Teen bucks if it will work like stock Dolby or better.
I'll throw in $15 for this.
It looks like /drivers/soundwire/* and /sound/soc/codecs/wcd9335.c is the magical controller in ZTE's public kernel.
My current LineageOS build machine is an ancient laptop that's slow and doesn't have an IDE yet. I can compile but I'm nowhere near ready to edit.
$10 from me to someone who is able to fix speakers problems on LOS based ROMs.
I'm willing to put in $20.
15$ Million dollars?!!?!?!??! who do you think you got chelsea clinton!
Nah. Im willing to add 15$ dollars!
8 Euros from Europe
$50 US Dollars
from the US
20$ from Germany
I'm putting 15$ on the table
@azpatterson3 could you also put the total of the donation on the first page
Put me down for $50.00
Still on stock waiting for sound to be fixed.
I'm not sure how much interest there is in development for the LG Watch Sport but I have the USB PCB that attaches to the little connector next to the SIM card slot. I was able to unlock my bootloader with it. I think once I get enough posts I can post images to show, but in the meantime, any devs want me to try running anything on the device?

Thats fantastic! Maybe this could be used to unlock european frecuency bands on W280A? It would be great!
What does the cable look like please? Is there a converter chip or is it just a direct usb connection to the pins? Could I connect a usb lead straight to the pins? I would be interested in unlocking the bands for Europe.
I will try to give more details later but it appears there is some components between the usb and the interface that attaches to watch so doubtful you could connect directly. Are you the same user from reddit asking for detailed pics?
Not the same user, just interested as I have purchased the w280a on ebay and live in France so would like to unlock the compatible bands for cellular connectivity. It also seems to me to be one of the best watches I could find new for a good price (150 euros new open box) and so I'm interested in general development and mods that could come from this discovery.
---------- Post added at 04:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:45 PM ----------
This is where I bought it : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/LG-Watch-Sp...967940?hash=item1cae286804:g:P04AAOSw4ahbG7BB
If we could figure out the usb issue then this watch might get a lot more attractive again at this price even in 2019...
I was also wondering about using the bigger battery from the Urbane 2 (BL-S6), would that fit maybe? If so it would fix the major flaw of this watch.
usb pcb? how u do it? and what capabilities We have if we get bootloader unlock? it's including network unlock or not?
