Thanks Fixed by sideloading the carbon ROM, the actual issue was with AEX Rom itself

Which is the best android custom ROM for LG G2 ?
1. Lineage OS
2. AOSP Extended
3. crDroid
4. Mokee
5. Cyanogenmod
6. Slim OS
Note: If you have another OS, please mention it.
Among the ones you mentioned, i think Aosp extended.
But i m using prime rom and i can surely recommend it.
RR Nougat, AICP 12.1
G2 is aged, can't help much no matter which Rom you use.
For $200-$300 or less you can get good phone with better experience Zuk Z2, Xiaomi Redmi note4/4X, LeEco Cool1 Dual, Lenovo Vibe P2 and the list go on. Even G5 cost $209 on Fastcardtech.com.

New here and does anybody have a solution.... TWRP is being simulated, which would mean that no files are actually written. Try going into Settings in TWRP, uncheck the "Simulate actions" checkbox, and run the rom installation again. But the problem is that it automatically goes right back to the option of do you want to reset data after reboot.
Guys i have a redmi note 3 kenzo device running miui 8.1.1.0 mm
Due to some reasons i want to downgrade to miui 8.0.6.0 lollipop
Is it possible to do so without any problems because i have heard of people reporting about mac, wifi, network imei issues after downgrading.
Can someone please provide a detailed description of downgrading process which does not lead to the problems mentioned above
Use Miflash & download 8.0.6.0 , procedure is the same but all your data will be lost in this process

Better stay on current build or upgrade to 8.1.6.0
Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
I need to test some thing thats why i want to downgrade
And i have tried 8.1.6.0 it has heat and battery issues
And i also needed to ask that are ypu sure that the fastboot method wont lead to the problems mentioned above (wifi, bluetooth, imei)
Boot phone into EDL, and use MiFlash to flash any firmware you want, be it Lollipop or Marshmallow release.
Done it plenty of times before I went full LOS.
I get 115000 only in antutu.(i have original rom) Others get 14000,ia this cause it's performed in custom rom?

Heyyo, can you please elaborate a little more?
Model? X820 x821 x822 or x829?
EUI ROM version? 5.8.016s? 19s? Other?
My x829 came with that vendor modified le_x2_na 5.8.016s and it was garbage with freezing issues and weak performance.
Every other ROM worked better be it EUI ROM or custom ROM.

it's the x820 model, 5.8.01S stock rom. i have never installed a custom rom before and i'm interested in installing oreo 8.1 in hope i'd get the best out of the phone, but i don't know if i want to risk it since i'm new to this stuff and i don't want to break it. the quick charge also seems to not work and it kinda charge the same with quickcharge on/off , other than this the phone is fluid and works alright

5.8.01s? That's really darn old yeah... ok since yours is x820 it's easy to upgrade to the latest EUI ROM.
http://g3.letv.cn/259/29/16/scloud-...1S-5.9.028S.zip?b=123456&platid=5&splatid=500
It does have ads that LeEco put in it though... I'd recommend going into launcher settings and disabling the ads if they annoy you a lot.
Otherwise? 5.9.026s is pretty good too but doesn't have ads.
https://goo.gl/3ZjpLD
just rename to update.zip and place in the root of your storage.
Reboot to recovery (settings > system update > ... menu button > Reboot to recovery)
Update from file
Otherwise for custom ROMs? I'd highly recommend sticking to Nougat as Oreo is beta support on the Le Max 2.... for Nougat ROMs? XenonHD I'd say has the best performance. KuranKaname did a great job with optimizations.
SlimRoms is a mix of optimizations and battery life so that's another option.
Stability wise though? OmniROM 7.1 is fantastic for that and is the only official ROM for the Le Max 2 on nougat with SafetyNet certification.
My bench mark ON RR version 6.0 that is oreo 8.1
177274, on Antutu version 7
crDroid v4. 1 AnTuTu 7.07

NOTE: I will likely not be releasing any more Lineage 16.0 builds for the J7. I wanted to get something stable out, but unfortunately some of the bugs require far more effort to resolve. This build is probably the best working one to date, so that's what's released. I hope you enjoy!

Hi,i'm sasi2006166 and i want to join your "team", yes i know how to build roms in fact u can see many of my threads in j7 2016 exynos7870 section, thanks
I got it to work but not internet . I went back to 8.1. However even after I formatted and swiped everything my phone only says have 8 gigs of storage with only 2.5 available . This only happened after flashing this rom a few times . Any idea how to fix this so phone recognizes 16 gig ? Oh and btw your rom is cool and when I have more experience may put it back on . Thank you for all your great work on J7 , I love this phone !
@Tigerevo Hello, can you give us detail about how you restored to the stock ROM 8.1? Did you use TWRP backup or do you use ODIN to flash your phone?
---------- Post added at 03:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:50 AM ----------
@minz1 I think I have I faint idea of what is causing the camera to misbehave, as I noted in another post about the quirks of the Oreo ROM in the J7 Perx, if you uninstall the stock Messages app or the Contacts app, it automatically ruin your camera, both front and rear making it unable to work while summoning any app that require them, it doesn't make the app crash or anything, it just show a black viewfinder unable to make it take a shot or record video, not even the flash. As for the LTE or by default 3G Internet, it's unfortunate that there are no open source for the Snapdragon 625 modem or binary blobs going around to interface with it. But all in all very smooth and nice running ROM for an initial Android 9.0 port to the J7 Perx
I formatted and swiped system . I then used odin.

Flashed to j727r4 and working with same bugs as mentioned. Had to flash the j7popltespr lineage 14.1 prior to flashing lineage build 16 in order for system to boot. Not sure why. Also magisk 20.0 prevents system from booting as well. Magisk 18.1 on the other hand is working. Crossing fingers for a working lineage 17.0 ?

Same problem here, grayed out options, these posts are within a few days of each other but surely this isn't something new... then again, if it is (something new), should it be taken to mean that there are indeed 'new' issues/features? Boy, now we're cooking with gasoline!
This is a solid rom, but my 'good phone' decided it needed to be in the bath (I'd already told it to be BY the bath, awaiting my requests) so now I'm all like: mllmlmm, you know? And don't even get me STARTED on spending money. Psht!

As the developer stated in her post, this ROM will not get further updates or end up as a final release because the burden to fix those bugs are unsurmontable for a single person. Let's behave as civilized people and not start talking nonsense to just pan handle some free meal.

Hello there. Since Xiaomi doesn't really care about our device (don't start with pandemia etc, it's work that can be done from home and they're releasing ROMs for MIUI devices) which are the best custom ROMs for our device , based on battery life , smoothness, performance ?? Android 10 based of course....thank you ??
Pixel experience is the first choice if you're looking for pure google rom, but it lacks customisation and updates are a little slow
Lineage os was the second one i tried but it was abandoned , I don't recommend it
So far evolution x is the best one in terms of stability, features and customisations and gets updates fast
Deperfest os is also good, it's on terms with evox but it was only recently published so i don't know if there are bugs yet
Havoc os , I didn't try it but many are praising it
*uck xiaomi stock rom -_-

I've seen about Havoc, but also it's a lot of pain to install.....also lineage was abandoned??? Why?? That's uncommon, weird the less...
I think lineage has been picked up again by a different developer? There is a new lineage 17.0 post on the roms section, check it out.
