Anyone has a way to make aptx work or a rom tha supports aptx?
Heyyo, please try LineageOS 15.1 as it includes AptX. I haven't been able to test it though as I don't have any AptX certified Bluetooth devices... If it doesn't work? Please get logcat and I can check into it. :good:

I did try Lineage, official unofficial and Chrisbals i couldnt make it to work
i will flash again your rom and give you the logs

i flashed your rom still SBC codec i searched with root explorer system/lib lib64 vendor/lib lib64 i cant find libaptx

AptX works on Resurrection Remix Unofficial, and has for the several months I've been using it with Bluetooth enabled audio amplifiers.
If you've got a situation where the AptX libraries are missing from your preferred Oreo ROM, there's a Magisk module that can downloaded and installed that should rectify the problem... ?

Are you sure the AM61 actually supports AptX? The reason I ask is because when looking at the specs for them I don't see aptX listed - it usually is for devices that support codec as a main selling point...

USB Audio issue & Xposed installation Arm64
While I am loving having a standard android experience on my Shield Android TV, I don't seem to get any audio out via USB. The DAC I am using is locked to 24 bit 96khz and shows as being synchronised but I get no audio. Audio is still coming out of HDMI. Everything worked with standard firmware. The setting for preventing automatic USB audio routing in developer settings is switch off... anyone have the same issue and know how to resolve?
Also - as mentioned by another poster - I am receving an error when trying to install Xposded. The error message suggests that it is looking for the arm (32bit) version rather than the 64bit. I am pretty certain we should be using Arm64 - so am I doing something stupid when trying to install via TWRP?

Still not getting USB audio (24bit/96k) in the latest versions of the ROM. Is this a problem for anyone else? Really need USB audio so will need to go back to stock if this isn't going to be resolved. Happy to try and help with any troubleshooting.

Hello all.
So I followed this guide but I messed up on one crucial step. Instead of just wiping user data and cache I also wiped (system). In any case I was able to flash the ROM and it fully boots with all the sweet animations but it boots to a black screen. I only see the mouse and that's all.
If I hold the power button I only get the option to power off.
Any tips?

Gapps..?
I've rooted and installed the rom and working well. Very nice work! I am having problems installing Gapps. Perhaps it's the wrong version. The link sends you to a github link and I've used that. After flashing that gapps I still have no google services. Can you provide the gapps file name I need to download? thanks much
Fire TV box remote pairs fine
Was able to pair the Fire TV remote with this rom. Go into pairing, hold home button down on remote and refresh. Works great.

Nvidia Shield controller no longer works after full Android is installed on Shield TV
I was able to install full Android on the Nvidia Shield TV. The problem I have now is that the Nvidia Shield controller no longer works. Is there any app available that would enable the Shield controller to work with the full Android on the Shield TV?

Does this honor 5x have OTG support? I'm thinking of buying it tonight
It was advertised to have OTG but currently it is not working and Huawei knows this. They said that it would be fixed in a patch but so far nothing. If you need OTG now then you won't get it but hopefully they fix it in the future.

I cannot get OTG to work even after following the steps recommended by Support (see below). Basically...we need to wait for a patch to fix OTG.

One Suggest I have for troubleshooting is to do a our power cycle on your phone while the device is connect. This may allow for the connection to show up. As well there are a few applications on the Play store which you may be able to use to troubleshoot the OTG if the first step does not work. Please note that the 5X has not yet been released yet. It's official release will come on January 31st. At that time we may also send out some updates that will correct you issue.

I recently rooted and installed custom rom lineage os 14.1 on my moto g2 running 6.0 previously the correct way.then i went to youtube and tried to increase my max sound.now no audio file or call audio is coming.i cant play any video from phone or from youtube.it shows error.i had changed some audio details in system and then etc.can someone help.please i will be greatful.please reply as soon as possible and try to email me.will be grateful and yes everything else is working fine

I`ve made a custom build of LegacyXperia LineageOS 14.1 with overclocked cpu to 1.5 ghz, ambient display support for only smultron(xperia mini st-15i).
I`ll upload the build here on xda sometime later as it still has the old android recovery , i need to work on porting twrp later.
How's Bluetooth in your build? The last L14 build I tried (lineage-14.1-20170514-UNOFFICIAL-LegacyXperia-smultron) would never finish pairing.

in my Smultron(LOS 14.1), bluetooth is working just fine. I can pair, I can play songs in my car, I can send & receive files, etc. I've been using LOS14.1 for almost a year now in my daily driver smultron. Its not the perfect ROM but its working better than any other ROMs.
Waiting eagerly for the LineageOS 15.x for semc 2011 devices...

Yes, it is. But what are the problems in detail? Does nobody clarify?...
Cause I suppose that they are all the same at Legacyxperia SEMC 2011 Devices, aren't they?...
There seem to be two problems at my Ray:
1.) The pairing to some devices doesn't work or works only after several tries.
2.) After successful pairing the connecting and reconnecting works fine as long as bluetooth is not switched off. But if you switch it off and on again the connection of paired devices ALWAYS does NOT work! And this is VERY nerving.
I could imagine that this is a problem that could have been fixed, couldn't it?
You can only connect to the device again if you delete the pairing before and pair again. Often it is even difficult to delete the pairing info. Then you additionally have to switch if BT.
Can anybody confirm my test results??
So can anybody tell me why we have this problem and which are the reasons for this strange phenomena?...
It would be so fine if this problem could still be fixed by a patch!

Perform a factory reset in TWRP
Select advanced settings under 'Wipe', and wipe 'System'
Flash the LineageOS 16.0 ROM
Install any other modifications (OpenGApps (Platform ARM64, Ver. 9.0.0), and/or Magisk)
Wipe Dalvik & Cache
Reboot and wait

I got it to work but not internet . I went back to 8.1. However even after I formatted and swiped everything my phone only says have 8 gigs of storage with only 2.5 available . This only happened after flashing this rom a few times . Any idea how to fix this so phone recognizes 16 gig ? Oh and btw your rom is cool and when I have more experience may put it back on . Thank you for all your great work on J7 , I love this phone !

@minz1 I think I have I faint idea of what is causing the camera to misbehave, as I noted in another post about the quirks of the Oreo ROM in the J7 Perx, if you uninstall the stock Messages app or the Contacts app, it automatically ruin your camera, both front and rear making it unable to work while summoning any app that require them, it doesn't make the app crash or anything, it just show a black viewfinder unable to make it take a shot or record video, not even the flash. As for the LTE or by default 3G Internet, it's unfortunate that there are no open source for the Snapdragon 625 modem or binary blobs going around to interface with it. But all in all very smooth and nice running ROM for an initial Android 9.0 port to the J7 Perx

Same problem here, grayed out options, these posts are within a few days of each other but surely this isn't something new... then again, if it is (something new), should it be taken to mean that there are indeed 'new' issues/features? Boy, now we're cooking with gasoline!
This is a solid rom, but my 'good phone' decided it needed to be in the bath (I'd already told it to be BY the bath, awaiting my requests) so now I'm all like: mllmlmm, you know? And don't even get me STARTED on spending money. Psht!

As the developer stated in her post, this ROM will not get further updates or end up as a final release because the burden to fix those bugs are unsurmontable for a single person. Let's behave as civilized people and not start talking nonsense to just pan handle some free meal.

Yeah it is free meal .but it is professional website .and should have good staff ..not every free meal should be bad ..I don't say this is bad post or bad ROM ..I said why not just response to our problems we don't want update ..just fix this only bug and it will be very good professional free meal
