A new Hyundai Rock X IPS tablet.
Loaded Android v4.1 stock Firmware.
Turned off at evening as always. Turned on next morning routinely but waked up without Touch function which makes the tablet unusable..
Reflashed several time w/ FWs of the last two version of factory.. Every time the same result. Booting up w/o touch facility and not possible to start and execute initial settings and use the tablet..
It is bricked some way..
As it is not recovered by flashing with factory FWs, what would be the reason? Hardware failure ? But screen is okay, only no response to touch.
What do you suggest ??
I am away to China and no chance to ask service and replacement..
But if it is screen hardware failure maybe a new screen (as spare part) may be purchased and replaced..
Do you think Hardware ? Could it be disconnection of some part such as digitizer ?
Unfortunately i just experienced the same problem. Searching on Google and it seems its becoming a common complaint. I think its a hardware problem.
P. S.
Mine is just 4 days old.
Hello everyone! I recently purchased a z5c a couple of days ago. Everything was working fine until I got the software update (Android Marshmallow 6.0) via OTA. One main problem is that there is a noticeable thin vertical line on my screen when the screen is turned on. I tried to factory reset the phone but the line is still visible. There are also issues with my keyboard going AWOL but it's tolerable. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I really hope somebody can help me with this.
My Mum made a Contract with the Provider o2-DE and they send her an Samsung Galaxy S7. That was in August 2016, the Contract ends in August 2018.
The only Issue she has with it is like I mentioned that the Device has serious Startup Problems, if she powers off the Device, it really becomes a Game of Luck to get it to Power on again.
First Question: Could this be related to the Device having too much Running-Time? (Like about 300+ Hours being on without a single reboot?)
Second Question: Could it be a Hardware Failure or like that o2 did send us a bricked Device which had this Problem from the Beginning?
The Device came with Android 6.0.1, We upgraded it to Android 7.0, we keep checking for Updates but we are kinda afraid of installing them since it needs about 4-5 Hard Reboots till it even starts installing the Update (Also afraid of bricking it because of the Boot Issues ) (And the Updates doesn't seem to bring any improvements related to this...)
And after installing Updates the Boot Issues are coming up again, the last Update even took me about 40-50 Reboots till the Device booted up normally again
Does anyone have an Idea what we could do next?
We eventually wanted to send it in for a Repair, but my Mum urgently needs to be available for Calls (like School of my Sis etc.) but o2 denied sending us an Replacement Device she can use till the S7 would be repaired (which according to the Repair Site might take about 5 Days)
I really hope someone here has any Advice
Have a nice day!
I see that phone has some crack on screen , and also I think that restart can be battery problem or problem on mainboard , it s better to send to Repair !

The Crack on the Screen is gladly only in the Tempered Glass though The Device always gets really hot during the restart loop and Battery drains like hell, so I suppose it's maybe even both the Battery and the Mainboard... Anyways, thank you for your Answer, I'll try to send it in

Anyone had ghost touch problem with the fingerprint sensor? Phone is detecting touch on the sensor even if no one is touching it. This minimizes opened applications or keeps waking up the phone when the screen is turned off. I have tried factory reset, but to no avail. Any ideas how to fix it?
Up. Experiencing this as well after 8.1.0.143 update

I am facing this Issue from last 5 months , i have bought phone on 12 Jun and after one week of use it started this.
after getting four time official software updates and 8 times hard reset , i have decided to officiel service center .
They have given me 15 days time for solution and 8 days expired today. No news till now .
But i don't think it is a software Issue.

yes i will surely update you .
Workaround
Stumbled upon this app, might work for the meantime. Just enable "Launch with fingerprint" and the "Do nothing" action

Cheers everyone,
have been using my Asus ROG Phone 6 (12GB/256GB version) for 2 weeks now and have several issues.
The main issue is that the phone will freeze, especially when using the camera app, then crash and sometimes won't reboot and is stuck in a boot loop.
Happened to me twice already so had to set it up twice now, which takes quite some time until everything is set up again.
Does anyone know if there is already a solution for this? Does anyone else had this problem already?
Baseband-Version is: M2.13.33.16-Dallas_000370

Thanks everyone!
Scrutinize your 3rd party apps... especially power management or 3rd party launchers if any.
Likely an app with cam permissions otherwise.
Possible firmware corruption or a hardware failure.
Yesterday, when it happened, I tried and had no other apps installed other than the ones from the factory. Launcher has been stock all the time.
Will investigate further, thanks for your hints! Will contact Asus for an update.
Sent it back. That's not normal...
Yeah, opened up a ticket already, waiting for them to get back to me though.
I thought there was maybe an easy fix for this or that it is a known issue with a fix around though.
Hi GrossmeisterB, i am new here, my Rog Phone 6 keep boot loop as well, when i power on after half way charging for zero %. may i know, do you flash rom or just factory reset? i tried factory reset, but problem still not solved
Hi there, first, short update on my phone: sent it back to the shop and got a new one that is now working flawlessly. So it seems the camera issue was due to a hardware error.
I just did factory resets to not void the warranty.
It seems like you need to return yours, too...
