Safetynet issue on MIUI 10 - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

I'm on the beta rom and everytime I try to check safetynet it says "ctsprofile:false".
I tried the universal zip method but it disables the magisk root. Can someone help me about this .......

You choose to modify system partition in twrp when you started it for the first time my friend. That's the result. Keep read only should be your only choice when you start twrp.
Skickat från min POCOPHONE F1 via Tapatalk

How to do that. Twrp now doesn't shows any kind of option as you told???

What? If he did what you just said he wouldn't be able to flash anything. Plz don't try to help if you have no idea what you are saying, cause that's not the first time I saw that. @op try to reinstall magisk or there is module called safety net patch maybe it will help

I'm not saying he can't install anything.
I'm explaining why safetynet fails.
Reinstall boot.img and it will solve the issue.
But since twrp modified system partition magisk won't solve it.
You could try the following and see if it helps you, check first post for instructions, https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...agisk-17-2-canary-channel-acess-t3840497/amp/
If it doesn't help I would recommend to reinstall rom, when you start twrp don't swipe at first boot just press "keep system read only."

You are in the wrong. Please read some and learn how partitions work and what twrp does when you allow it to modify partitions. He clearly gets safetynet failure because system has been changed. Since he is running magisk he clearly wants the phone to run system less which is the whole point of using magisk...
Your claim is pure smack.

Same issue

Solved this finally by switching from MIUI 10 Beta to Xiaomi.EU rom and I am in love with this ROM....
Safetynet passed by default

I've Miui 10 (beta rom) Bootloader lock and non modified / root device and cts failed. I think we need to report to pocophone

If your bootloader is still locked please report this issue to Xiaomi/Poco team on their forum as well as on tweeter.
I discovered this issue a long ago but since my bootloader was unlocked i though it's due to that only.
but if it the same with locked boot loader definitely this is big issue from POCO side and need to be addressed ASAP.
PS: SafetyNet Passes on Xiaomi.EU roms because they use different device's (Polaris-MI Mix 2s) "fingureprint" (i.e device name used while registering on playstore) rather than POCO's (Beryllium)

Do point this out when you raise the issue to POCO team so they can track the issue faster

Now we have a new fix from Jose Ferreira aka @Bazoocaze, so all fame should go him! I just implemented it as Xposed module.

If you find the other way to root and install exposed framework. But I think bootloader is the key to this.
I already have xposed on a debloated TouchWiz. Didn't need to unlock the bootloader for it.
Soooooooo... Does this module require the BL unlocked, or just xposed?

Oh didn't know, so then you could just test it(?) I don't see why it would need unlocked bootloader if other modules work. I might be wrong...
Groovy. I just don't wanna get stuck in a bootloop and have to redo my phone.
No bootloop, no need of unlocked bootloader. It is a normal Xposed module.

Great news! Now it only depends on the developers. We will also leverage development with value donations. I can not wait to have a Ressurection Remix on my Dipper. We can by the MIUI and block the bootloader, regardless of China or Global.

Hi guys, when do you guys think the twrp dir the Explorer edition will be available i will get it in a couple of days and it will be my First Xiaomi Phone and i want to flash the custom global Rom but i think i need twrp right? Sorry if it is the wrong section
Finally!! Woohoooooooooo let the games begin!
So I was trying to install twrp on my Mi8 following a guide about it. At some point of the guide I flashed the recovery like this:
"fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
"fastboot flash boot twrp.img"
I don't know much about this, but now the system won't start. I think the second line replaced my kernel with the recovery image (?). However, I can't manage files from my pc to the phone, not even with adb sideload and it doesn't matter what I do, the phone always boot into the recovery (not much to do in there, I can't flash anything from the device storage).
So, how can I flash the kernel above from fastboot?

Can I install Xposed on Poco F1 ?

Hi,
Well, everything is pretty much in the title...
I have tried to install several GSI Treble images, but that was almost always a "No-Go" because it either did not even install, or it installed but did not boot or it booted but too many severe problems...
So, until someone releases a proper dedicated ROM for the POCO, I would like to stick to stock, but would like to be able to make a liitle more than what MIUI allows.
So I am wondering : has someone successfully installed XPosed framework on the Pocophone ?
Regards.

You already have the xposed downloaded. Boot into twrp and install xposed. Somehow doing this, it actually help me boot into system. No, the xposed will not be installed but there's no more bootloop. After installing xposed from twrp remember to clear cache/dalvik and reboot into system. That worked for me without wiping anything.

Ok I'm on miui 10 rooted too please give your Xposed zip that you flash on it please
Ok, because the file exceeds maximum size of 8 mb that can be uploaded as a zip, i cannot put it here, yet this is the module downloaded from Magisk manager, there's also another version you can find there (one is Xposed framework sdk 27 and the other is Xposed framework v89, so read the descriptions before installing), but remember, on my case, flashing / installing xposed did not worked, and i got stuck on boot. There's still options you can bring your phone back from bootloop, as the ones mentioned above, yet there's still a possibility to experience another issues, so please understand that i do not find myself responsible for whatever you choose to do with these files.
This xposed module can be installed in twrp or in Magisk manager.

Advices and Tips for my new Poco

Hy Community,
My Poco arrived today 6GB Ram 128 Storage. Just took it out and turned it on without no Sim card.
I'm on Miui version 9.6.11.0 and there would be a Update available to 9.6.22.0.
Before I do anything with the Poco iv ends ask you guy's what to do first.
Open Bootloader?
Flash TWRP?
Flash any Custom ROMs?
I followed some other threats the last week for open BL, flash TWRP etc. But I'm kinda scared to f.... My new Poco up because some Ways they distcribe to flash this or that is kinda scary and people writing they got bootlooped and I don't wanna be like that.
Should I stay with the Stock Recovery and Stock ROM till the development get more stable and secure?
I read in one threat LOS is about to get published in a view days.
Any advice and secure step by step explanation about flashing would be appreciated.
Thank you guy's for any feedback.
Happy safe flashing

Unlocking bootloader is straightforward.
Regarding twrp I followed this and it worked perfectly for flashing twrp.

Wow thanks allot for your effort.
All though pretty much for me. I'm not a newbi with flashing and all just don't wanna **** up my Poco.
Maybe I try to get that BL and TWRP thing working first. Hopefully development making progress the next days.
Thank you mate and if im in trouble with my Poco hopefully I can get back at you ?
Yeah, just post in this thread so more can help, if you will need any more help.
Good luck.
I would suggest you download latest weekly from Xiaomi.eu, I belive it's 9.20 (based on date) and save it to phone, also check md5 sum before flashing, are a few apps in playstore to use.
Also download twrp Microsd img version to phone so once you in twrp you simply flash twrp img and reboot to recovery.
After that you have access to Microsd.
Once you decide to flash rom, remember to wipe factory reset before and after that flash desired rom.
First boot of twrp it will ask for password, just press cancel and choose not to modified system.
That's that, good luck! [emoji256]

... And do I have to flash this decrypt zip file I read somewhere before flashing Roms and right before booting afterwards? Because TWRP cannot encrypt it.... Correct me please
Yes you have to. But I'm flashing it only after miui. It also has magisk build in so you will have root

So but nothing wrong when i flash it in xiaomi.eu or other non Miui Rom?
I don't know you must check [emoji16] I haven't flashed anything after xiaomi.eu. maybe it removes that encryption and you don't have to flash anything at all after it. It's second xiaomi.eu build for our phone and first one was buggy. Other than that I would just flash fde just because it has magisk so it's like 2 in 1 zip which I personally like. What I know for sure that after flashing any official miui ROM or beta ROM for now you have to flash fde, so probably your answer is yes

I never installed it and my phone works perfectly fine.

Off it will. You just don't have twrp anymore

Well the Decrypt file is if you wish to manipulate /data partition as I understand it.
For example if you wish to install, treble based roms.
Who knows maybe I forgotten that I flashed it but I'm 99.9% sure I never installed it.

During boot you will get message like: please wait while encrypting data or something like that. If you didn't than you have flashed zip

[FIX] Multi-Touch For Poco F1

Well there is no need to describe what this fix does.
Note there is already a multi-touch magisk module out there which is originally for pixel but this one is modified by me only for POCO F1.
*Note this works only in Custom ROMs. Yes It's not fixed in Custom ROMs by default.
Installation:
Flash the Magisk module via twrp and reboot.
Uninstalling:
Flash the uninmod Magisk zip in twrp.
Go to advanced->terminal and type "uninmod"
Select _// Multi touch fix for Poco
Reboot.
Status (flash and tell me)
Reserved for updates.
Does it work with miui.eu? Would love to try now. Thanks

This is a great initiative for the community.
Unfortunately can't test it cos still on beta 8.9.20.
And even after shifting to custom ROM won't know what to test it for as don't realise my touch screen has a problem.
i get bootloop with aospextended

This problem exists in all phones and xiomi claims it's fixed when it isn't easiest way to check this is using multi touch applications.

How do I check if it's properly installed?
A fix for a problem no one knows they have?
Reserved for updates
Another fix is to use a custom patched kernel (Franco Kernel for example).
