Hi All,
I've converted and rooted my H931 to a US998 using the WTF Guide. Now, I'm looking for a nice debloated ROM. What ROM would fit my needs? I'm mainly looking for the ROM being as debloated as possible.
Can someone please recommend a ROM along with a process for clean flashing said ROM?
Any help is appreciated!

OK, I was able to install the BoomBox ROM onto my H931 converted to US998. The BoomBox ROM is nicely debloated. If anyone else is wondering how to do it, here are the steps:
- Boot into TWRP
- Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik
- Flash Boombox and DO NOT select to flash Magisk or SU
- After flash is finished, flash Magisk separately
- Reboot and you should be good.

Will a developer please explain in order the process to install custom ROM on VS985 10b
I have already flashed to 10B, root w/ one click root, installed flashify, flashed Philz CWM, in recovery i wiped everything, installed Bliss Pop 3.3, installed Banks GAPPS, then I tried flashing Bliss kernal and bam soft brick. Sorry I guess I'm still a Noob. Will someone please explain what i did wrong and the correct way to go about this. I am currently VS985 10B w/o root. I will try to be patient and wait to try again when someone corrects me. lol Thank you to all developers and especially the Bliss Pop team! I love the ROM, still trying to get used to LP though.

The order of flashing you explained is fine. Make sure the kernel is made for the same build as your ROM, ie. 4.4 kk, 5.0 LP, or 5.1 LP etc.
Since everything is fine until you flash the kernel, I'm betting the kernel is not matching the rom.
Hey guys I'm currently on Eclipse based on 4.4.2 (12b) after getting the phone about a month ago. I'm rooted and have twrp installed. Do I need to flash a stock lollipop or can I just dl skydragon/jasmine based on lollipop and flash directly from twrp? Thanks in advance!

#2, can just flash Jasmine directly. I haven't read SkyDragon's OP, so whatever it says, I haven't flashed SkyDragon but it's probably set up the same way as Jasmine.
great thanks! what's the best way to keep my apps?
LG stock ROMs for our phone have an LG Backup service in Settings / Backup & Reset. It works great and is even faster than Titanium Backup. When I run stock, I don't even use Titanium Backup any more but TB is still a lifesaver for non-stock.
I have a TMO S5 that I use on AT&T. It is rooted and right now I'm using the AT&T stock rom and is working ok. I have not tried any non stock because of the Know fuse, but today I just decided that I don't care anymore about that.
Is there any way to flash custom roms using FlashFire or do I have to flash a custom recovery like TWRP?
If so what is the best and easiest way to flash twrp recovery?
Thanks in advance

Best way is custom recovery. Research which you feel most comfortable using then find instructions to use Odin for install. Once you have a custom recovery, you're ready to flash any compatible custom ROM you want. Just make sure to always make a backup.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S5 using XDA Free mobile app
Custom recovery is great, you just need to do research on which recovery to get (CWM,TWRP,Philz) and you should also consider what type of custom rom you want to get (Touchwiz,Cyanogenmod, etc)
With Custom Recovery, you can backup your current rom and restore it if the Custom Rom isn't exactly your cup of tea without losing most of your data.
Hello guys,
I am currently on LOS and planning to go back to stock ROM.
LOS was flashed over the downgraded firmware necessary to unlock the bootloader.
Would it be advisable to flash the latest stock over it or should I rather go back to the downgraded ROM and upgrade it through OTAs? Are there any partitions flashed through OTA that would be otherwise missed by TWRP?
Also, can anyone recommend a debloated, optimized Android 8 ROM for this phone?
Thank you for your time!

There are TWRP flashable zips you can use.
See the H930 KDZ thread for instructions on how to flash them.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/development/h930-lg-v30-european-market-h930-t3779076
Be sure to use the stable TWRP linked in the WTF thread, not the new beta experimental TWRP listed elsewhere.

Quick question please, are the ROMs in your thread upgradable through ota should LG release one?
I noticed you mentioned after each build that they're not meant to be upgraded.
I may have a case of the stupids here but does it mean that once you flash one of them you're stuck on that version?
PS thanks a lot for taking the time to answer these questions. I appreciate your help a lot ^^
