Android 8.1.0 on FUSION5 - No Touchpad - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
I've searched the rest of the forums but haven't found an answer. I installed Android 8.1.0 onto a FUSION5 Win 10 Tablet, everything is working fine apart from the toucscreen.
This is only my second attempt at this so be gentle.
I wiped the drive from a windows and created a partition via the command promt then installed Android via a USB Stick. As I said Android is running apart from touchpad capability, can someone direct me to a post or tell me how to get the touchscreen working.
Thanks and sorry if it is a repetitve request.

How to clean install android on ViewSonic VPad10-Pro-3G

We got a Vpad10-pro-3g tablet which claims to having a "dualboot os" on it. But actually, it has Windows 7 Pro as the main OS and a very obsolete Android emulator on it. (Bluestacks ?) No Google Play, no navigation and no any other thing you can make it with Android.
So my question is; it is probably possible but how to make this tablet "really" dualboot? Like a partition for Windows 7 and a partition for Android 2.x or 3.x, whatever.
I found an ISO image for VPad10 of version Anroid 2.2 but it won't download. It had been located in Google code but its removed now.
Any ideas?
My third question in Xda-Developers; which are all unanswered
I am trying Android-x86 project now. Used LiLi to create a bootable USB flash drive with Android 4.0 image and tried to run it live and worked. Now installing on the hard drive right on the same partition with Windows 7; looks like it will be working. Still waiting for the installation progress to end..
Edit: It freezed the tablet at BIOS screen saying "F2 for setup and F10 for boot menu"
Interestingly with an external keybaord, it can get into BIOS for the few first seconds. But nothing more.. Stuck here for now
Edit2: Managed to make it work with different ROMs but no luck with Wireless, bluetooth and 3G..

[Q] See Nook from Eclipse

Hi, all.
I setup my 16 Gb Nook Tablet to boot from a Cyanogenmod 7 SD card following directions that I found online somewhere about two weeks ago. It was a great process and I love my new real Android tablet. Thank you, developers!
I've been trying since this weekend to install a hello world app on my Nook. Although I see the Nook and the SD card in Device Manager when the device is plugged into the USB port of my Windows 7 laptop, I do not see it as an Android device anywhere. I would like to debug on the device from Eclipse, but Eclipse does not see the tablet (in Android Device Chooser when the Nook is plugged into the USB port). I also do not see any devices listed when I run adb devices in a cmd tool.
The one thing I have not done that I think I need to is to install an updated USB driver for the Nook. I have not had any luck finding a driver with an install script.
Can anyone point me to the drivers or a page with clear instuctions on how to get and install them? Is there anything else I need to do to see the Nook as an Android device in the adb device command and in Eclipse?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Robert

This thread has a video on how to install ADB drivers.
Thanks. I had seen that video, but I did not carefully follow through with the directions because I wasn't sure it was what I needed. It points you to detailed instructions on how to get the drivers installed including troubleshooting if there are problems. I am now able to debug my eclipse apps. on my Nook tablet.

[Help] HDD not found under Win7 with MTP

Hello,
I have a Archos 101G9 Turbo (1,5 Mhz) with a 250 GB HDD. Since yesterday, I have no access to this hard drive under Windows7. Instead of the Tablet icon a phone icon in the Explorer is displayed now me and the drive is empty. Both the record and the content is available under android. About ADB I can access the HDD.
I've tried the following:
Newly installed Windows Media Player and Windows media center
Storage carried out wipe of the SDE
Newly installed update Android 4.0.6 ([email protected]_04.06.2012)
All measures have brought no positive result. I have installed the custom ROM by surdu_petru. Unfortunately I can not associate the problem. I don't know whether the problem lies with the archos tablet or Windows7 Ultimate with SP1. Do you have a solution for this problem? Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello,
so, since no one had a solution up to now, have I installed the ungerootet on my ARCHOS firmware 4.0.7 (4.0.3) and newly established the tablet to the root. Now I have the internal memory available under Windows7 Ultimate again.

Android system dump

Hi guys,
First of all, my sincere appologies if I have posted in the wrong section, but I have used the search button and haven`t found an answer to my question (s).
I have a Vauxhall Insignia ans have installed an android chinese unit on it. Everything works fine, as it should, but as human nature I want something more.
So, I was wondering, if there is anyway in which I can dump the whole system in the computer and emulate it in order to see what it can do and what I can change?
So, basically, what do I need to do to emulate the whole operating system which is present on the android unit, on my Windows PC? How can I dump the system and emulate it on the computer? What app do I need and what software do I need to run on the computer !
On the unit,it`s Android 4.4.4 and the computer is Windows 10. I can connect via USB on the android unit, if that helps.
Thank you for your time and answers !

LF Help installing Android to Windows Tablets

Hi
I recently installed Remix OS to my Asus X502C laptop and it all seemed really quick and easy so I decided to try it out on my old Linx 7 Windows Tablet and my iRulu Windows W1005 however I just cannot seem to get it to work.
I can get it installed to either the hdd or a bootable USB drive but when I choose the Android OS to boot from I get varying errors of missing things etc and then it hangs on a black screen.
I have also tried various other Android images listed to work on Windows tabs and other installers; Rufus, the Androidx86 installer 2.4 from a thread on this forum etc..
I can run MEmu no problem on my iRulu but I really would like a dual boot on it or just single boot on the Linx 7, I am a member on the Linx forum and Reddit but the Android discussion seems to be dead on there and guides/files are missing but people have said they have had Android running.
Can anyone point me to something that will work?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Holly
