Hey everyone, I'm having issues when trying to play slow motion videos recorded with stock camera (anx camera) and then playing them on google photos, which is the default gallery for Pixel Experience. The problem is that the video reocorded in slowmo at 240fps will play at twice the speed on google photos for the normal part and then for the slowed part it will play at normal speed. Although I'm using PE rom right now, I had this problem too when using stock MIUI. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi Everyone ;
I am using bezke ICS ROM which is an AOKP ICS 4.0.4 ROM. Recently I recorded some videos and after I watched them on my PC, I found out they are quite laggy I compared them with my some older videos which were smooth with same 720p resolution. one thing that I noticed was that smooth videos which were recorded by another ROM have 3gp extension but new laggy videos are mp4. unfortunately as I am a frequent ROM changer I dont remember what ROM is used to record 3gp videos.
I hope someone can help me to resolve this issue. is it possible to change camera app to improve video quality ? is there a camera app which records in 3gp format ?
Regards

You have tons of camera apps out there, LGCamera is really liked amongst people who hate their Camera, otherwise you have ICS Camera... Camera Zoom Pro...

Yes , LGCamera didnt work. the ROM laggy camera is still better than LGCamera,ICS Camera, Camera Zoom and etc.
When I downgrade the quality to SD the lag goes away completely. isnt it possible to use GB ROM cameras on CM 9 ?
LGcamera work great with AOKP same with ICS Camera (resurrection rom)
I've noticed when trying to capture 4k video's the camera has trouble focusing. Any one having any issues with this? Seem ok in all other modes

So here is the thing, I can record a slow motion video and save it, but only the built in player will play the video fine(actually slow motion). I have searched a little and apparently galaxy s6 has the option to save the video as an actual slow motion video(rather than just a high fps file). Is there such a thing in G5? Or only the default player can play these fine?
Sent from my sh!tty LG-H860 that is beyond crap
Does the EIS work on 1080p 60fps on the new 10.3.4.0 update?
*edit: im talking about the stock camera and not unlocked
So far. Nope
You can never stabilize 60 fps videos with the camera app but you can actually record a 4k or 1080 60 fps video and then stabilize it with Google photos afterwards. There is 0 difference with the eis from the camera app and the stabilization from the Google photos app. However the Google photos app may take quite some time to stabilize it which is the downside
How does Google photos stabilize the video's? Where can i find it?
When you play a video in google photos, there is a button in the middle with 3 lines, pres that and you'll see stabilize.

Bro you are fvcking life saver i didint there is stabilize in photos app!! Thank you sooo much!
MI A2 with SD660 does support 1080p 60fps EIS with stock camera itself.
Why Poco is not able to record 1080p 60fps with EIS from stock camera can anyone use media profiles from MI A2 for 1080p 60fps EIS.
I used MI A2 and sold it and bought Poco F1 but disappointed after knowing that i cant stabilize 60fps video in camera app
I tried to stabilize in Google photos app also but the video is horrible , There is a jelly effect in the entire video it is not at all stabilizing.

You can actually stabilize a video in 60fps . If you have any doubts plz find MI A2 1080p 60fps EIS samples in YouTube, It is natively supported.
I used MI A2 and stabilization is excellent in 1080p 60fps also

Yeah. And Poco F1 has much better camera e CPU.
Why doesn't Poco F1 already have at least 1080p 60fps EIS videos? Please, devs!
I see slow motion videos are very choppy with Google photos, but not with Xiaomi gallery.
Why this?

Ive noticed this too, the miui gallery seems to handle them as you would expect but with Google photos its stuttery and not smooth. I also noticed that you can hear the sound when in slow mo with Google photos but not in miui gallery.

Hello,
has nobody found the solution for this bug?
I have also this bug on Xiaomi and it is shame because we cannot make slow mo videos with my son.
Is there any other app which can play slow mo videos with sound and it is possible to adjust where to slow down?
Thank you
