Hi forum,
today my amazfit pace 2 (firm v2.8.3) has shown a delay issue. It took 10min, after my run started, to track altitude, pace and speed. Distance tracking seems ok. Is there any tip to debug it further?
thanks in advance.
Go to Settings -> General -> Activity alerts, turn both ON, quit settings, go back and turn them OFF again.

thanks, lfom. However, I was not able to follow your suggestion (Settings -> General -> Activity alerts) in my amazfit pace (under its current firmware version). This option is not available to me. I've tried "Additional Setting -> General", and, below this, I have "Time format" and others.
I also tried swipe left -> Running-> Settings -> Activity Reminders (this path does lead to some alerts, e.g lap alert, heart rate alert and others)
Did you mean this second option? (I'm afraid we are talking about different versions or I've missed something in your explanation).
Thanks in advance.

You must disable the "Activity reminders", not the alerts during the activity (they may cause other problems, but not the one you have reported). My Pace has latest CN firmware (AmazeROM - 2.6.5.0) and my Stratos with latest INTL firmware (2.3.9.0) show the option at the same place: Settings -> Genereal -> Activity alerts. Maybe it's different in the Pace INTL ROM. Anyway, you should enable both, save, then disable them again.
If you don't have the "Activity reminders", maybe what happened was just weak GPS signal. To avoid this, make sure you wait a few seconds after you get a GPX fix in a clear area, away from buildings and trees.

Hello ,
I have already read similar threads for this problem but still cannot fix my problem .
Only calls notifications works, it does not show me notifications from facebook , gmail, viber etc , I've already tried unpairing and pairing again with the phone, factory reset and uninstalling and reinstalling the amazfit watch app on the phone but nothing changed.
I checked the app blacklist and everything is enabled , this issue starts today , the previous weeks the watch works fine
Anyone can help me please?
restarted phone?

Obviously I did restart my phone plenty of times
UPDATE:
After many restarts of my phone, 3-4 factory resets, and unistall - reinstall the amazfit app at least 2 times. It seems that the watch works fine again !
I dont know the problem is fixed (hopefully wont happen again) but just restarting your phone may fix the problem (may not work after the first restart, keep restarting your phone)
I also contacted amazfit to inform them , and they told me the same things
I am posting their answer:
If you can see them from the notification bar but can't see them through your watch, please check the following steps to troubleshoot your issue.
1) Check if you enabled the "silent mode" on the watch. If you enabled silent mode, you can't receive any notifications at all.
2) Enable the notification in the app
On the home screen of the Amazfit Watch app, select Notification Settings.
Tap the toggle switch to enable or disable push notification on your watch.
To enable or disable specific notifications, select App blacklist settings.
If you still can't receive the notification, please try the following:
Android
1: Go to settings --> manage apps' battery usage --> choose apps. From there, pick all the apps you want to receive push notifications and select "No restrictions."
2: Go to settings --> permissions --> autostart. From there, pick the apps you want to receive notifications, and toggle the switch to turn it on.
3: Lock the app in the "recent apps"/ "app overview" plane. Do so by first opening the apps, then press the "recent apps/overview button" . From there, find the app you want to receive notifications, pull down on it to "lock it", so it never gets cleared.
Hopefully this might help someone in the future
I think we need an update. Nothing of all them works for me.
I also have the same problem, watch only alerts me of the incoming call, no other notifications are pushed to amazfit pace...
Hello,
Is it possible to make an option available in the Amazfit Stratos where there is an automatic scroll of the data fields for 4-5 seconds like Garmin has?
In the latest firmware there was also a bug when the watch was entering auto pause mode: after i was riding again, the first page of the watch was showing even though i had selected the third Page (HRM).
Thanks for making amazfit Stratos better and better [emoji847]
Grtz

Hi,
I always update my watch as the software comes out.
I just noticed my last few runs that the 1km avg. pace alert I use to get does not happen anymore.
I tried to find it, to activate but I can't seem to find it.
Can anyone help me with this please?
Thanks
Open activity -> Settings -> Alert -> Lap alert.
So just by putting "Lap alert" on it will be set to 1km? I can't seem to pick the distance for the alert.
Also, what is the automatic lap alert?
Thanks in advance.
Lap alert = 1km
Auto lap alert = personalized distance, see "more settings" for settings distance
My Pace is set for the Do Not Disturb to be automatically on every night but I still get notifications unless I manually turn it off. Does anyone else have this problem ?
I use the Amazmod app but have that set to not forward notifications is DND is enabled on the watch.
Probably you meant "Silent mode" on watch (there is no DND). AmazMod only respects this setting regarding CustomUI notifications (the ones you can reply to), the other notifications and handled by the firmware. So if you are getting notifications while Silent mode is enabled, probably you want to factory reset (PS: it erases all data on watch) then pair again. If it doesn't fix the problem, then do the same but do NOT restore old data to watch after pairing.
Amazfit call it DND. I have tried resets & the problem doesn't always happen. Once in a while it will buzz when I am asleep unless I set DND manually. The Amazmod app just says "Disable when DND is ON" It doesn't say that it differentiates between notifications.
I am going to delete the Amazmod app for a while & see if it makes a difference.

It's related to the phone, obviously...

Well in that case either the App is at fault or the Watch. I would guess it's the watch as once DND is selected it shouldn't let any notifications though. Unless the App has a way to overide the watch.
It could be something to do with the auto DND not always switching DND off. I will report it to Amazfit.
So i have a problem with my Suunto smartwatch. It always disconnects from bluetooth after a while. I use Movescount app for it and it disconnects. Any ideas? I tried to make it not close, and exclude from battery saving options.
Have something similar but with huawei band watch.
It gets disconnected, likewise I have made the watch band app keep active in background, I have not set up any battery customisation etc to run. Yet still gets disconnected.

You can try adding this program to the protection program.
Go to Settings > System > About phone or Settings > About phone to check the EMUI version of your phone. If the version is EMUI 8.0 or later, perform the following steps:
1.Go to Settings > Battery > Launch to find the app for the wearable device, and disable all Manage all automatically switches. On the Manage manually screen, enable all three switches: Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background.
2.Open the app for the wearable device, then touch the Recent key or swipe on the Home key to display the recent tasks screen. Find the wearable app, and touch the Lock icon on the top to lock the app.
Note: Make sure you are using the correct app for your wearable. For example, if you are using a Huawei Watch, select the Wear OS app.
This settings solved my problem.
Using Garmin Fenix 3
Thanks it seems to work now. Been steady for 2 days. Hopefully it keeps going.

Hi, I use Garmin fenix with Garmin Connect and in my case the solution above doesn't work. Fenix is diconnecting and don't connect again. With P20 Pro it was working perfect. Any idea?
