Lately I hear a loud wierd crackling/bubbling noise after I answer a call. The duration is around 1-2 seconds, but really loud and I cannot hear the person at the other end of the line. After it stops, everything is normal, doesn't matter the duration of the call, it never happen again. Anyone has any idea what can cause it?
The first time it occured was 2 or 3 updates ago. Now I'm on the stock 9.0.0.207. No bootloader unlock or root.
I did a factory reset. Removed all of the unused applications, and the problem still exists. Is this a hardware issue? Should I bring it back for repair?
Thanks everyone for the help and all of the suggestions...

I'm stock, no root... 4 seconds into a call, each time I get cut off for aprox. 2 seconds and after that everything is normal. It happens during every call, no matter if I call or get called.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Also I have the same problem, maybe if anyone knows a solution? tnx
Nothing?
I did notice that it only happens when I talk to people on different carrier than mine... Weird.
So I bought a new Photon 4g 1 month ago, havent rooted it, no unlocked bootloader yet.
Some days ago I was just calling someone and I didnt hear the beeps you get, when you wait for someone to pick up the phone... It was silent for some time and I checked the screen - No mute, Speaker on, And call duration is 00:13 and counting... I thought it could be fixed with a reboot, but It didnt work.
So today I found out that the Microphone is not working too... I was recieving call from my dad, and I already knew I have the problem. I just picked up the phone and said, that my phone is broken and I cant hear him. He just kept calling and calling me and when I met him, he said that he didnt hear a thing.
So is it just me, or do you think its weird too, that both - ''Ear speaker'' and microphone breaks at the same time. Or are they connected?
I downloaded some Volume control apps and nothing was muted. Everything was loud. Call volume on max. Can this be fixed by something or I need to get the phone to a repair shop?

Yep totally sounds hardware related. Wouldn't hurt to do a factory reset to make sure.
Problem is sometimes after 30 seconds someone is calling me I can't hear him from call speaker. When I switch to back speaker I can hear him. Sometimes is always after 30 seconds, sometimes I can't hear anything from beginning of call. Usually I can hear a whisper, but it's like 2 times more quiet than minimum volume.
Is this a hardware? Software?
I back to EFSv1 (I think), problem is still here
I upgread to newset rom problem is still here
I do not know is this a hardware or software problem but this happen suddenly, I think after Installing CM or 4.2 beta (I was testing some rom's). I think this happen after I install League of Shadows but I don't think this is a game fault since I do not this game, clean my phone and problem is still here. Sometimes is everything fine until I play some game for longer time.
Maybe it's something with connector from call speaker, should I tear down (this no problem to me)? My phone is on warranty
Greetings.
Just bought the Z5C. Phone is awesome, but when I play anything over the speakers (incoming call, music, etc.) the volume is good for about a second, and then it turns very silent.
Anyone experienced this, or knows something about the issue?

Hey! I had this same issue for the first day that I had the phone. It was driving me crazy. What drives me even more crazy is I don't what I did to fix it. I am not entirely sure, but I noticed a difference after pairing the Z5C to a bluetooth speaker for about 30 minutes. When I unpaired and went back to the speakers on the phone they were substantially better. Hope this helps...

I was trying different things on my phone and decided to factory reset it. After it rebooted the same problem is back. Low volume for second, then super quiet. I tried replicating the same process I thought somehow fixed the issue before and it didn't help. I've tried messing with all the audio settings, toggles here and there but nothing seems to fix it. I wonder what this might be and why the phone all of a sudden started working like it should last time. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi, I had the same problem with lower sound from speakers after 30 seconds. After disabling "STAMINA" the speakers are very loud. And if you put "Audio settings" to "standby aktive" you could even activate "STAMINA" without speaker loudness problems
Yeah happened to me yesterday as I was listening to the Radio app while on a walk. Went from relatively loud to super low quiet. I thought maybe I pocket bumped the volume or something.
Same problem. In my case, I noticed audio almost stops from one of the speakers (sometimes the top one, sometimes the bottom one, wich indicates it may not be a hardware issue). Happens on games, music, videos, or calls with the speaker on. Seems to be random.
searching for this problem (this is also happening to me (mostly top speaker while i playing and mostly games
is only one speaker(top) for me not 2 speakers
(maybe the heat? if im not the only one is hardware or software? ) it was at 5.1.1 so updated to 6.0 still the same.. maybe speaker wont working well while heated? tried to shake the device thought maybe something loose connection inside

hi u manage to fix it?
anyone know how to fix it? at my case its only TOP speaker
mostly happen while gaming
From my end the conversation is normal. Started happening a few days ago, phone is less than a month old. Is there anything I can do before taking it to repairs? Tried changing the volume and the audio output during conversation and it doesn't make a difference.
The echo problem seems to be well documented with no fix yet. It's only when you call someone, and if they call you it's fine. I'm hoping it's a software issue that is fixed in MM.
