Hello, I've rooted my OnePlus X with KingRoot (I have the stock recovery and the bootloader is locked), then I have tried to unroot with KingRoot and the root checker couldn't detect root access. Yesterday I've upgraded the OPX to OxygenOS 2.1.3-x and now the device is in bootloop but luckily I still able to boot in recovery. I tried to install the OxygenOS ROM via MicroSD card (8GB with only the ROM on it) but the installation fails and if I retry it says that the data space is less than 500MB. What can I do?
because the root can rename system/bin/app_process32 to app_processinit of other,so you can't use ota update your phone.
you can flash a twrp recovery, and flash full oxygen zip.don't use ota,the recovery tips you restore stock recovery, you need it,you can toch yse.
Thank you but I've already solved.

Anyway with a locked bootloader you can't flash a TWRP.

And What was the solution dude?
It would be good if you could explain how you solved it. If someone got the same problem he could find a possible solution here
You can go to the "Root OnePlus X without TWRP" thread and download the zip of the OTA upgrade on a MicroSD card, then boot your OPX into recovery and go on "install from local" > "SD card" > "OnePlusOxygenOTA", install it and reboot.

.Hi. I tried to root my brand new Honor 7 phone today. I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and finished by installing SuperSU. But when I tried to reboot the phone it just went back into TWRP. I have tried to factory reset, clear caches and data but that didn't seem to fix it. I am able to fully use all functions of TWRP.
I downloaded the stock ROM file and placed it on the phone, but when I tried to install it I was prompted with an ''no MD5 file found'' error. The last 5 hours I've been trying to fix this and I really do miss the phone already, is there anyone here who can save it?
ADB Sideload
I also want to add that ADB Sideload is not functioning either, I'm stuck at on "Starting ADB sideload feature..."
You can not install a stock rom with a custom recovery.

What am I supposed to do then? How can I get back my stock recovery?
After 9 hours of constantly trying to solve this I finally fixed it on my own, this thread can now be locked.
How did you flashed the stock rom?

Hi,
I have a question about TWRP 3.1.1-0.
Whenever i try to recover a previously made backup it tells me that it's not succesful because the system partition is write protected.
Can someone help?
Problem solved. After installing TWRP 3.2.0 all went fine. No write protection anymore.

I have TWRP installed and everytime I try to install the newest version I load into TWRP and get an error. Any way to either relock the bootloader or force the update?
Flash stock recovery

TWRP has a fixed fingerprint key that doesn't work anymore with recent updates... If you are not using a custom ROM that supports TWRP (like AmazeROM) your only option is to flash stock recovery back (if you are using a custom ROM, and probably you are since you still have TWRP, probably you need to install other stock files as well, so maybe it's just simpler to flash stock firmware back).

Thanks guys! I'll just flash the stock recovery. seems the most simple since the OS is stock.

Are you on the official TWRP? Flash the unofficial one.
