Hi there. I recently got a poco F1. I wanted to unlock bootloader asap but knew i had to wait for three days. Therefore i registered my Mi account on the phone, turned on dev options + OEM unlock + USB debugging. Also associated the phone with my account. I tried to unlock but it told me to wait for 360 hours. No panic because I read that was just 72 hours.
Then i waited for 3 days. I tried to unlock with unlocker but it said wait for 290 hours. Waited some more (i use the phone right now) but still get the message: please unlock 175 hours later. (at 99%).
Can you help me in the right direction as to what I'm doing wrong? Or should I wait for 175 extra hours?
You will have to wait till the time it shows.

It was earlier when it was launched and they later on changed it to more days.

When I unlocked my phone, it unlocked without any waiting time. Just started unlocking and Boom. Device unlocked. Not even the 3 day waiting time?

and i did swipe.. pretty hard and.. there's no vibration.. no error.. nothing happens.
if i'll reboot now, it'll be working again.
but i'd like to avoid it
is there anyway to restart the fingerprint service?
thanks
I'm on 1.8.3 GladiAtrix b0.2.

One of my many pet peeves with this phone. I rebooted around 12-15 times yesterday because of the reader. Seems to be getting more and more frequent of late.
Does the fingerprint sensot has multiple uses? e.g. log in to google account or bank account

Have you verified that the fingerprint service has in fact stopped, or are you assuming it is and rebooting?

Again I'll echo, this is the last Moto product I'll buy..
I need to remember to check the service or keep a logcat running.
I've noticed it quits working the most when unlocking while I'm on a call..
There are multiple other threads on this subject already, please use search before you post a new thread.

Took a deep breath before reading this one. LOL
Has anyone actually managed to speak to someone from xiaomi support? I wrote email 4 days ago about my phone that broke after two weeks. I got one automated response saying "we will contact you in 24 working hours" and that was 3 days ago.
I am sat here with a phone that does not boot or charge. I can't believe I fell for the cheap phone trick. I will never ever buy xiaomi again.
I'm having the same problem as you. The device stopped working after 2 weeks of purchase and it is not working anymore.
I tried all available solutions so far such as rebooting to EDL mode then flash official Rom.
It works again for sometime then brick again.
Hopefully I see a solution for that soon

Any information on what you were doing when it broke? We might be able to help you bring your phone back to life.

It's all over now anyway. Can't start it at all since he battery is now completely flat and it won't charge at all.
Well Xiaomi told me to contact the seller and the seller has denied me warranty for flashing OFFICIAL firmware.
I'm never buying from this company again, what a total joke.
i purchased a redmi note 3 online and i'm supposed to get it in a month or so, i read that it takes long time before bootloader unlock is approved. i already created a miui account. just wondering can i submit my request right now and wait for it to get approved, willl it even get approved? or should i wait for the phone? i already added details on my profile about what MIUI version im running and what device i have. any one ever done that? thanks
I never doing that..but..
I think there's nothing wrong with that...even that way it's clever way to avoid long wait permission from xiaomi while the phone needed for unlocking quickly..
i think im gonna try that, someone on reddit did and got approved
i just submitted my application, will post the result
You get approved in less than a day since recently
holy hell i just got approved in less than 20 mins! this is awesome
from last 10-15 days approval takes maximum 30 mins..earlier it took 2-7 days
i guess its getting automated now
finally they must have upgraded their slow servers
i guess so
On Monday when I tried, I got an approval text 4 minutes after I applied.
Great
In developers settings, in the t-mobile version, there is automatic system updates enabled. I advise to turn that off until we figure out the bootloader and root!

Thank you did this with my Verizon version just now
Getting my g6 within 24 hours... First LG phone ive had. Coming from s7 edge (hate the edges)
What is the likelyhood that unlocking bootloader and root will end up happening at some point? I know it may be a while, I can't wait to see that wonderful TWRP screen again! (Had Nexus 6 before s7 edge)

We are trying. It will be unlocked but it is the matter of time. LG removes the fastboot commands on their phones so we found a couple of potential solutions that we'll have to test.
Have had phone since last Wednesday (4-11-18) have never taken SIM card out. Phone died once on 4-12-18. I have restarted it a few times but I read that doesn't affect the option showing up. It's now been over a week and still no oem unlock. Any ideas?? Am I doing something wrong?

Wait a few more hours. It shows up exactly 168 hours after first use.

It's been past that. I read somewhere that some exynos models come with it already enabled but you just can't see it. So I went into download mode earlier. Will that affect my time? (Mines not unlocked.)

Booting to download mode shouldn't affect the timer. But doing a factory reset will, I think. Did you by any chance do a factory reset after first use?

Not once. I first turned the phone on and activated it on 4-11-18 at about 8:30pm. Died the next day around 5:30pm and I started charging it at 6pm. Hasn't ever dropped to 0% since.
