Hi,
Just installed a fresh android Q rom on my Sammy note 9 (exynos; with august security update).
Everything is working properly besides a few local apps that required internet access (which is working properly).
I receive an error message stating that the app "failed to load. Try again later".
Any Ideas how to fix this issue?
I tried restart, power off, reinstall, delete app cache and data. install again but nothing worked.
Maybe the apps are not compatible with the august update (not yet available in my country)?
Also, I can't open Netflix as well - the app installs but when I open it I get an error.
Finally, does anyone know how to make the navigation bar black / dark mode on all apps?
Thanks!
With regards to "failed to load try again later" error:

Well, waiting for the developers to respond/fix may take ages...
Any ideas on my end?
The cause for the error mentioned is that apps in question try to download ( additional / updated ) resources via Wi-Fi connection from the WEB, what fails.
BTW:
When you have Wi-Fi turned on, your phone automatically connects to nearby Wi-Fi networks you've connected to before. May be these saved networks became invalid. Hence you can try to remove all saved networks, then add a new one.

Gave this a shot.
Re-downloaded one of the apps from the play store only via my data plan (wifi turned off). Still no go...:crying:

I just updated my android to Android 2.1 -update 1.
I tried to sign in to my google account, but then this error message appears:
"Can not establish a reliable data connection to the server.
This could be a temporary problem or your sim card may not be provisioned
for data services. If it continues call customer care."
I tried few times already but the result is just the same. Is this a bug or what?
Can somebody please tell me how to handle this?Please..I cannot access android market.
my phone info:
HTC Hero G2 Touch
Firmware version 2.1 update 1

are you in China? if so, you have to make some hard coding for ip direction in hosts.
127.0.0.1 localhost
72.14.254.100 clients2.google.com
72.14.254.100 android.l.google.com
72.14.254.100 android.clients.google.com
because when last time Google left China, they(or the Chinese Government) modified the DNS.
I had this same problem. It related to the hosts file as stated above. See this link for the fix...you will find more details on how to fix it

Att atrix 4g (mb860) 2.3.6 rooted
When connecting to wifi, and open market, it shows 'no connection' and a 'retry' button.
What i have tried:
1. clear data, force stop
2. re-install market,
3. upgrade market to the latest version
4. downgrade to a lower version
All above approaches do not work for me.
And when I search similar posts from our forum, a solution I found is to ensure the system date and time are accurately set. But I can not figure out how to accurately set the system date and time.
Can someone help on this? Thanks very much
system date and time is easy... go to settings and you should see date/time... and set accordingly.
as for your market issue... does it connect when using your phones 3g signal? when you're connected to your wifi can you connect to other sites? are there any other apps blocking your connection? (eg lbe, droidwall).
Long shot... try to wipe cache?
I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but maybe you could try a factory reset or install another rom?
Hi guys that subject was mentioned a lot of time here, but there isn't a proper responde to that so I have Htc Sensation with AR HD 6.8.0,when i am trying to download some apps from google play it is downloading after few minuter i have error 495 I did everythink what was told about that her clear chache clear data even reinstal my rom it isnt working anybody have any idea what is that?I tried to download via wi fi also via pc please help me?
Same problem here [error 495]
After I installed CM10 on my hd2, I'm having this problem.. Cant update or even download from store but browsing seems fine.. all the other downloading are also perfect.. Any solution other than clearing cache or data or uninstalling updates would be helpful.. Coz I've done all the usual steps. Please help..
I have had this issue for a long time now. I just used to decide that I'll wait till i get home and download over WiFi (which worked).
But that's not a solution!!!
On my JellyBean One X:
1. Go to Settings
2. In Wireless and Networks, tap on More
3. Select Usage
4. Tap on Menu in top-right corner and make sure Restrict background data is not ticked
5. Also, uncheck Limit mobile data usage (a message appears saying that all background data restrictions will be disabled).
It is the background data restriction that causes this issue (atleast for me).
I had done the whole shabang:
Clear google play cache, data, etc. re-login with Google account, reboot, etc. which didn't help.
This seems to have worked for me!
Hope it helps!

Try removing and then adding back your google account. Source: http://appslova.com/blog/2013/08/21/android-fix-error-495-in-google-play-store/
Google account no longer syncs, gives notification that when clicked brings up an alert that says my device requires google apps device policy. When I install I get an error message when I click activate, "Error encountered while registering the device. Please try again later."...driving me mad, how do I fix?

Have you tried clearing the app's data from settings --> application manager?
What ROM you on? If it's CM based and you have had to add GApps, try reinstalling that. Otherwise backup eveything and factory reset.

Standard ROM that came with the phone (Vodafone UK). Can't clear app data as app is not actually installed yet. Obviously app says its for business users only, which I'm not but phone keeps insisting I install it!

A quick look at the comments on the play store shows quite a few people with the issue.. why not contact google? Or just uninstall it with TB?
One of the comments says the following though: To activate the Policy I have to encrypt the device. To encrypt the device I have to password protect the lock screen with a 6 digit password that includes at least one number!?! Come on Google! who wants to punch in a long password every time they pick up their phone!?
Edit: Have you read this: http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en-uk&hlrm=en&answer=1056433
This is indeed terrible. Google Apps Device Policy suddenly comes with unclear error message. No clear solution is available. I ahve tried different alternatives:
1-) Uninstall Google Apps Policy server => No luck;
2-) Remove the account from google account, install it again ==> No lock;
I just keep receiving same message: " Action requise" in french for "action required" on account. when I get this Device Policy Server, it just says: Error with registering the account, try again later ...
I am on verizons network (Trying to use wifi) I own the Droid Bionic with firmware 4.1.2.
Well today I rooted, everything was working perfectly. However after 2-4 hours after rooting, my wifi went from connected to in range and my play store wouldnt connect at all, using wifi or data. I figured the root was messing it up so I did a factory reset to help get rid of it, root seems to be gone, but now I cant sign up/in the google play store. I get an error message saying, " Cant establish a reliable connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call customer care." I have no idea what this means and I am getting to annoyed, I got this phone yesterday 5/16 today is the 17th... My wifi bar is gray which means "in range"when it should be blue "connected" When I look at my wifi settings my internet says it is connected however. Any ideas at all???? Please help!! Also I did change date and time to moscow to try and use freedom for app purchases, I changed it back to automatic date, time, and timezone.

If your root is gone after a factory reset, then you weren't rooted correctly in the first place (edit: if your rooting process involved downloading SuperSU or the equivalent through the Play Store, then just sideload the apk since you can't get to the Play Store as the SU binary will still be installed and that combined with the re-installed app should establish root access again). A factory reset does not change your rooted status. As far as the Google Apps not working...it's most likely due to a modded hosts file. Either from an ad blocking program, or the Freedom Play Store patcher. Re-root and delete the hosts file in /system/etc and reboot.
I was rooted before I am not anymore says root checker. I used this method here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2256439
When I run the program to try and root again it says invalid IP address now. Idk what's going on with this phone now

Like I said, you just need to install the SuperSU app. The binary has to already still be in /system/bin or /system/xbin, whereever that one installs it. So once you install the companion app, it should recognize that the binary is installed and provide you with root access again.
