Bricked but in a weird way! - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

My poco has no os installed.
1) Fastboot and twrp booting, but when connected to pc, it shows error : " Usb device not recognised". So both adb and fastboot commands are out of reach.
2) MiFlash is not detecting the device
3) USB otg not detecting in TWRP
Is there any possible way to bring my poco back to life??

have you tried sd card? Are the drivers installed?

Uninstall current drivers and boot into fastboot mode. Connect the phone to pc and make sure you have an intel processor and a usb 2.0 port. Go into device manager and install the drivers from internet. This might solve your driver problem. As said above you can also try sd card.

Try this and if the problem is not solved try another pc or linux. Because no need to install drivers on Linux

Same problem with a new poco f1 on lineageos. What's wrong!

Have you tried a different usb data cable? I'd say this could be a bad cable, bad daughter board or a bad main board (micro crack). Had a redmi note 3 that didn't recognize sd cards at all for 2-3 years, it died abruptly a month ago. Have you tried a service center/repair shop?

Just install universal adb drivers and uninstall all drivers else and try to connect in fastboot mode ! It should work ! If connected you can flash using miflash

[Q] cannot use phone as usb drive

Recently updated from WinXP to Windows 7. I am having trouble with the USB drivers for my phone. The phone charges, but my phone does not show it to connect in the pull down menu. I can't use it as a USB drive. I cannot tell that the PC recognizes the phone as being plugged in.
I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled Kies multiple times. I've installed the USB drivers that come with Kies. I've downloaded the drivers and installed them separately(with Kies installed and not-installed). The most recent drivers I found were 1.5.45.
I've tried turning the Debugging off and on.
With WinXP, I often needed to reboot or uninstall Kies to get the program to work. Frustrating, but it worked. Now, it won't.

I can't connect my phone to my PC, so can't install apps from my PC.
Other USB drives connect to my PC fine.
Well, that got me thinking about the PC, and I reinstalled the VIA USB drivers(as compared to the Samsung ones). It now recognizes my phone. Whether I can get Kies to convert video is another question.

Try using data connection or wifi to download it from phone. You can also use a card reader to copy it.

Then u should start from pc i dont think its a phone issue since u can boot fastboot,
Check for pc is the drivers installed ( win 10 disable drivers signature and install drivers using options in miflash tool )
Try to change usb cable etc..

Try to check if your Fastboot drivers are installed correctly or not. Go to Device Manager in Your PC Properties and check whether your device is showing there in Fastboot mode or not? Only then you can unlock your bootloader and after unlocking you'll be able to proceed to Install and flash TWRP and Custom ROM's
No it doesn't!!! That's why i am searching for another way,

Try Installing this.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Tried it but it doesn't work
You need to connect your phone to usb 2.0 ports on your pc for the Mi Unlock / Flash tool to detect your phone in fastboot mode. If you don't have a usb 2.0 port, a usb 2.0 hub will also work.
Hope this helped.
Tried 2.0 also but no luck.

It's just a connectivity issue, uninstall the drivers and retry everything from the start watching some guide on youtube.
It is normal, it happens some time, there is no other way to install twrp.

Samsung A8 not being detected in download mode

I've been attempting to recover my samsung galaxy A8 from a brick, by flashing the original firmware for 3 days. I successfully got TWRP flashed, and couldn't connect to the phone using MTP, so I ended up using an SD card to transfer the firmware zip. Long story short, I tried to treble it, and it completely bricked, leaving me without TWRP, or anything to boot.
I've put it in download mode, swapped through 10 different USB C cables, and still can't get my PC to recognize it. I've tried two computers, one running arch linux, and the other one through windows 10 and arch linux. Nothing. Whenever I run "lsusb" I can't see the phone. I also can't see it in device manager.

My phone doesn't boot. I deleted the system partition. It's on a bootloop, and the only thing I can do is access download mode.
I was able to plug it in. I used the sim card remover to try to clean up the port.. I'm seriously an idiot...
